I honestly hadn't noticed...

I admit it, I was fooled. What do you want it's after midnight in my time zone...

This is quite possibly the fastest updating post I've seen here.

Personally, I think you should cement in the winners (preferably figuratively), let everyone know you know, and then hold off until Monday anyway.

By then, easily half of them will have exploded.

They must've gone home by now. To continue working 5 hours after "closing time" when they've given themselves until the 15th to give us an answer seems.... unnatural.

Maybe they're working online together?

And they haven't posted for some time.

Annnnd they do deserve to sleep (occasionally).

It's probably not an easy task to weed 150 down to 30 (which they've done), and then weed 30 down to 10. Might take a few days.

But then again, I really have no idea what the hell I'm talking about. :D

It just seems cruel to not let us know that they're going to finish up and give us the answer tomorrow. :(

I won't be able to sleeeeeeeeeep!!!!

I know! That's so weird.

Hot Topic is NOT punk rock. Oh wait, wrong thread. Goin to bed...unless this is how the eds are picking the 10. Last ten people still awake and posting every so often get to send in outlines. Tricksy editors, yesssssssss.

It is now 11:15 on the West Coast. I'm beginning to believe that we may have to wait until tomorrow in earnest.

Just so everyone knows,

I sent out confirmation to all of the winners before I left work. If you did not get the email, then I am afraid you did not advance.

You sir picked a fitting avatar.* Chaotic Evil halfling indeed.

Wow! What a sucktastically cruel thing to say, oh king. I'm not sure if I'm mad at you or just mad that you actually got me with that. Remind me to always, always accuse you of being the werewolf next GenCon! :^)

Liberty's Edge

True cruelty would have involved stopping at the "I sent" message

then posting in the am with

"Stupid Outlook..."

that is cruelty

Sebastian,

I only just realized what you did here. Impersonating editors on these boards is a serious offense. You are banned for life.

As a side note, we have decided to skip over the second round and announce that Craig Shackleton, known as Rambling Scribe on these boards, will be awarded the contract for Flight of the Red Raven.

nuh-unh!

Wow. Rambling Scribe must have included routing codes, account number and pin to his bank account in the body of his text. It would have been nice for 10 people to at least have a shot to expound upon 800 words with their outlines. I'm sure it was a fantastic query, but still, the rules changed. Oh well.

No, he's just so darn good-looking and clever.

Don't believe anything on this thread. It might be some jerk pulling your chain...

ARRGH!

Nice alias....- funny how aliases don't show up on a treo. Didn't catch it till I was back in the office...

Truth is, most people sent me their bribes in the form of checks. But I couldn't cash any but Craig's because the rest all had my name spelled wrong.

So what is the official status of the open call right now?

clockworkjoe wrote:

They finished the meeting last night, so they've decided the 10 that advance to the next round. The emails are supposed to go out this morning, but as they were working late last night, and its only ~830 Paizo (Pacific) time... and there are 150 emails to send out... and the names were redacted out, so they have to go back and figure out what query number matched what email address...

I'd assume we won't hear anything for a couple of hours at least.

I think I sent mine to the wrong person entirely. Who are you again?

He's a minotaur. But what's a McArtor?

Sovereign Court Contributor

Mike McArtor is the one and only real deal, never to be duplicated. They broke the mold when they made that one. Or at least they gave him a custom avatar.

Yeah, if Mike hadn't had the custom avatar, I would've posted as him instead.

That wasn't me. I don't think... but I don't know what you're talking aboot eh?

Actually, I seem to recall Tim or Nick saying Macator.

I heard that story, but I don't recall the protagonist.

Also, our email is down and our messageboards are currently a bit wonky, so don't panic about lack of communication from us. Well... don't panic yet...
