Giant poster missing!

Customer Service

Sovereign Court

I just received issue 359 today but despite the claims to the contrary I didn't have any giant poster inside.

Sovereign Court

Also I should add that I haven't recieved issue 358 yet.

Same here. Dragon and Dungeon arrive same day. One has the promised map, Dragon is missing the "Giant Poster Inside".

Ok - just saw the other posts as well:

(1) Bag was fully sealed, no poster
(2) Yup, me too missing #358 (went to #357 to see cover for #358, checked stack - yup, no magazine).

I'll email customer support as well.

Hello,

You can add me to the list of people that are missing the poster for Dragon #359. I have already sent an e-mail to customer service, but if a thread for Canadians missing copies is up, I might as well post.

Cheers [:)]

I have an extra copy of the poster I would be happy to send to whoever wants it...

Sovereign Court

Wow that's really odd that so many people are missing posters . . . I wonder if this was part of a bad batch? It looks as though the packing was different these last few issues, I wonder if that was part of the problem? If it is I find it odd that I got my map of mystery in dungeon (nice BTW ;) ), and it had similar packing, but failed to get my poster.

I think we'd all better send an e-mail to customer service just to be safe.

Hi everyone,

Thank you for getting us this information! We're currently looking into what may or may not have happened concerning Dragon #358 and the giant poster from #359, and appreciate your continued patience.

Currently, we're incredibly swamped. Please rest assured that we will make sure that you are taken care of, and that you receive your magazine/poster!

Sovereign Court

Thanks for the update Corey.

Yeah, something must have gone really awry. I have already posted my problems in my own thread but I also missed out on a poster in my copy of Dragon #359. It also managed to arrive before Dragon #358 and Dungeon #149 and #150. I have complete confidence in Paizo's ability to sort out the issue though. :)

Yep, no poster for me either. And no issue 358, which I just went and bought from a bookstore. As much as I enjoyed Dungeon and Dragon, I won't miss the headaches that I've encountered with the subscription, whether it is the fault of Paizo or of Canada Post.

I sincerely hope I don't have the same issues with Pathfinder.

Sovereign Court

I'm another Canadian with the same problem.

I received Dragon 359 yesterday. The plastic bag was sealed but there was no poster.

I also haven't received Dragon 358 yet.

Thanks again for great magazines and great customer service. I'm realy looking forward to Pathfinder!

You can add me to this growing list as well. Dragon 359 and Dungeon 150 arrived yesterday. Both bags were sealed and in good condition. However I too had no giant poster.

I haven't received Dragon 358 either.

Guy Humual, canadaboy, Balabar, and David Roulston, we'll reship.

Omand, did you receive 358?

Olaf the Stout, we'll respond in the other thread.

Redviper, we'll ship the poster. As you know, normally in your circumstance we'd extend your subscription by an issue, but since that's no longer possible, I've given you store credit equal to 1/12th of your subscription.

All,
Did your 359 (and, for Dungeon subscribers, 150) include that note that first started appearing with Canadian subscription mailings a couple of months ago?

Me too! I'm Canadian and I miss the poster from the last Dragon... even if the bag was sealed and everything.

There was a thick paper address sheet in the plastic bag. It was the first time I had seen it. I haven't received Dungeon 150 yet, but I thought I would wait a little longer before asking for a replacement as I just received Dragon 359.

I already sent an email to customer service, but add me to the list.

I received 359, without the poster, and haven't received 358.

The only thing in the bag with 359 was the single sheet of postal information - name, address and the postage paid in the top corner. Same goes for the last Dungeon.

Yes, and I've kept the last to slips (359 and 150) with my address in case they might be useful for you. I'm not sure if there's any tracking information on them or not . . .

Is this white sheet the one with a Windsor, ON return address?

Vic Wertz wrote:

I just checked my mailing for issue 359 - to make try to help work this out...

Sure enough:
Return Undeliverable to:
1415 Janette Avenue
Windsor, ON
N8X 1Z1

Maybe we should send them a direct note tell them to get off their collective butts and do their job, eh? ;)

I'm starting to feel that someone there might have profited from this goof-up, but I'm just being pessimistic. :-/

Yes.

Maybe we should get someone from Windsor over there and see if they still have stacks of magazines and posters.

Sovereign Court

Thanks for getting the replacement 358 taken care of. You guys at customer service are always very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. :)

Although, no offence, I really wish I wouldn't have to . . . you know what I mean (I hope). I'm sure you'd rather not have to deal with this Canadian subscription nightmare either ;)

Any word on the poster yet?

Hello Vic,

Sorry for the delay in responding, I was away for a bit. I have not received Dragon #358 at all, but did receive Dragon #359 (but no poster in the package). Have not received Dungeon #149 either, but did receive Dungeon #150.

As to your other question, no note of any kind in my magazines for the past few months. The first ones in the new packaging I received were Dragon #359 and Dungeon #150. There was no note in the packages, just a different address label.

Cheers :)

Hello,

I guess I should follow up on my last post. The address label was the Windsor address one referred to by others in this thread.

Cheers :)

Vic, yeah mine has the same Windsor, ON address too.

Sovereign Court

I got my 358 and missing poster in the mail today!

Thanks guys, it was worth the wait!

Same here. Received 359 with no poster (just over a week ago, I think) and no issue 358. I don't remember seeing any kind of note with it though, and I throw the bag out as soon as I get it.

Silver Crusade

just curious, as for some reason I think I've see this poster before, but what exactly was on the the final Dragon poster??

1 side shows the entire Paizo run of covers, the other side rehashed artwork from the Githyanki adventure?

or did I get something different in my Dragon?

That's the one. And as far as I can tell, not a single Canadian received it.
