So I was wonder since you are not making an official Dungeons and Dragons magazine now, could you make a semi-annual pathfinder that is D20 Modern/Future based? I know it is a small niche, but I am sure there are people who would buy it.

Heck Yeah! I'de be all over that!
How bout it James!!

I just came home from visiting my FLGS today. I asked whether there were any adventures out there by 3rd party publishers for d20 Modern. "Nope." So, yes! Please. Now that you are free and your flight feathers are full, please consider adding a Pathfinder for d20 Modern. I'd be happy with it being Urban Arcana, Dark*Matter, or even straight d20 Modern.
Granted, I'd also be open to d20 Future.
PLEASE!!!

Well for the most part the FLGS was right. No there isnt much for 3rd party adventures. Green Ronin is I think the only I found that have tried it. Their Suppliments are great! But the few adventures they have done are kinda...Eh.
Yes James...Some OGL Modern based games would be Awsome!

I've been absolutely DREAMING of a d20 Modern version of Dungeon! Unless you count the (relatively) awful stuff posted for free on the WOTC 'site, there's nothing out there. A few companies have written an adventure or two, but practically every one of them is campaign-specific or product-specific. Frankly, practically all of them such, too.
I was very glad to see d20 Modern when it came out, as it's a wonderfully versatile system. The only reason I haven't played it more is that there's no support for it. I think a Modern version of Pathfinder, complete with its own mythos, genre, and setting would be awesome. Maybe you could do a generic adventure path, and provide articles to customize it to d20 Future, d20 Past, or Urban Arcana.
Or why not a version of Dungeon with unrelated adventures geared toward d20 Future, d20 Past, Urban Arcana, AND straight d20 Modern? Assuming you didn't get too diverse, it should be doable.
Okay, I realize this post is almost incoherent, but I'm excited about the possibility!

If we can get Pathfinder up and running successfully and profitably, and if people support the GameMastery line of modules and accessories with anything approaching the vigor shown on these message boards over the last two weeks, and if there seems to be a large enough d20 Modern audience to make something like this successful, we'd definitely test the waters.
First things first.

Pathfinder won't be doing anything with d20 modern. It's fantasy genre all the way. That doesn't mean we won't someday do a d20 modern Adventure Path or something, but if we do, it won't be part of Pathfinder.
Of course... all the stuff in Pathfinder's OGL so it ports pretty easy into d20 modern anyway.

Maybe some Game Mastery products perhaps...
You've obviously got a source of writers willing and able to provide you guys with material.

Glad to see the interest out there. I would love to see more support for D20 Modern. Of course the next question is what 'campaign' world would you make adventures for modern arcana> Horror? Military? Science Fiction? Adventures are always better when there is a dedicated campaign world for it.

Whew... I was reading this thread and thinking I would have little to no interest in modern / space adventure path. An individual module in GameMastery, I could see that. But modern pathfinder adventure path... I would cancel my subscription for the duration of it.
Now if you set it in the old west... :)

Actually if Paizo got into the d20 Modern and/or Future business, that would persuade me to play it. There's not a lot out there to get me excited for Modern/Future and I rarely have time to come up with enough myself to get something going. But I trust Paizo to make it uber-awesome enough to get my interest.
But, yes, one thing at a time. :)

Seconded- the one thing stopping me from using d20 Modern as my GURPS alternative is the lack of consistent support material.

True. The issue then boils down to how "easy" a d20 Modern campaign can be drawn from a Pathfinder adventure.
Recently, I decided to adapt Expedition to Castle Ravenloft to a d20 Dark*Matter campaign. Alas, in a town of 20k and I'm the only gamer ... it's likely to be a fun mental exercise and nothing more, unless I can get an internet campaign up and running.

I agree and would love some future stuff from an established talent like Paizo.
And not to detract from the request, but Sword's Edge Publishing (http://swordsedgepublishing.ca/) has a series of modern gaming supplements, though I can't comment on the availability of modules there.

I've become rather partial to Urban Arcana and Horror. I've recently picked up Steampunk and Wild West and I'm finding them very interesting as well.
The more I think about it NO Pathfinder wouldn't be a good place for it, for now. One shot moduals and plot arcs would be great.

I'd love to see Paizo put out a Modern adventure path, especially one using the Pathfinder heavy-support, lots-of-detail model. I'll tell you what I'd REALLY like to see ...
Remember back when Dragon did Greyhawk 2000? The World of Greyhawk with the timeline advanced into a modern era? Well why not do the same thing with Pathfinder's new setting, Varisia? That way you wouldn't need to develop yet another set of gods or a whole new set of world maps. Everything done in Pathfinder would automatically create depth for Modern Varisia. Even some of the same baddies could come out again, suggesting that they may have been beaten way back when, but not entirely destroyed. Or if they were destroyed, maybe they re-formed or were replaced by a new evil. The Runelords may be defeated, but the seven deadly sins aren't going away.

I would love to write for this. D20 Modern/Future should be awesome, and everything I have seen for it is decidedly not so.
Why don't you do up something and have Paizo offer it up as a PDF available for download (for $'s of course). Call it Paizo's online initiative. You writers could start working on online only modules between the more taxing gigs of working on the adventure paths.
I would buy many just on author's names alone.FH

I did enjoy the Greyhawk 2000 article that they did, and would have loved had they used Urban Arcana to develop it. I guess I would agree that Game Mastery would be a better place to start with Modern/Future Modules. Too bad Paizo couldn't pick up the Project Javelin series from Wizards. That seemed like a great idea that just didn't go anywhere, but I doubt WOTC would give it up.

Pathfinder should remain high-quality, generalizable fantasy!
That said, allow me to make a "Hail Mary" into the aether by suggesting some more experimental forays (either in GameMastery or other) to test the waters of d20 Modern/Future, psionics, sci-fi, horror, etc. I have to wonder if the perceived disinterest in such beasts isn't due more to a dearth of quality sources and adventures than a true dislike.
I LOVE fantasy! But I also love other things. I can only speak for myself, but I would eat this stuff up!
Just some food for thought. With all your free-time nowadays, I figured you'd love some crazy ideas for something to do. ;)

Well that's definitely started my gears turning -- I've run a bunch of homebrew d20 Modern stuff (because there's nothing out there). It has all been very well received by my players.
Huh.
Do you happen to have a website where you have this stuff? I am looking for a D20 modern adventure that starts as a crime scene investigation that shifts to Urban Arcana/Horror that I want to run One on One with my wife.

Does Paizo still own the rights to the original creations it made in Dungeon and Dragon?
The Pulp Heroes and Iron Lords of Jupiter mini-games were both inpired. If you still have those properties (or even felt like making close approximations) I'd be interested in seeing some GameMastery adventures churned out for them.

Heh.
I have a couple of things like that, specifically designed for one on one, even. What I don't have is a web site, or the adventures in any format that would make sense to anybody but me.
But I'm starting to think that should maybe change.
