I'm getting started with the AoW campaign, in Eberron, and I would really apreciate if some of you guys that have already played the first few adventures could pffer me some advice or suggestions. my party will consist of ´
a Changeling rogue who will do the Chameleon prestige class (races of destiny)
a Human cleric of Dol Arrah, later to become a combat medic (heros of battle)
A monk with vow of poverty, who will take the apostole of peace prestige class (book of exalted deeds)
a Duskling barbarian/totemist to become a totem rager (magic of incarnum)
A human paladin... still don't know what that one will do
either a sorcerer or an artificer.
if anyone has anything to say at all, be it conversion tips, modifying chalenges, suggestions, advice, whatever, please do. thanx

First, watch out for the metal ball trap.
If you don't want uber rich characters, make the balls melt if taken out of the Wispering Vault.
Second, NPC behavior. If it doesn't make sense, change it.
Smenk's minions don't want to die for him.
As for the paladin, have him go dual classed healer or
that divine prestige class in Exalted Deeds.
Personally, I think it's up to a paladin's patron diety
what his servants can multi-class as and not lose paladinhood.
If it's a philosophical paladin(no specific diety) I think
that can be combined with monkhood only.
You can make them spend a feat too.

Sounds like an amazing, diverse group! Here's wishing you and your players much fun with your campaign.
In order to save a lot of early plot-drag, have ALL of the characters close to at least one other (and, ideally, more than one) other hero from the start. The paladin and cleric could be comrades-in-arms in the militia temple. Perhaps the duskling was/is a captive of the Emporium as "Savage Blue" or something of that sort, and the changeling rogue frees/freed him or her; the Paizo campaign features a character named 'Demon Boy' with a similar background. I don't see the pacifist monk fitting in well with the doctrine of Dol Arrah, so it'd take some work to connect him/her to the others.
Know that there are going to be many early encounters--the battles with the bettle swarms come to mind--where the monk won't be able to easily contribute much due to his/her vows of non-violence. You might have to use liberal interpretation of those rules to allow him/her to fend off the beetles with a torch. Also, though I wouldn't suggest aggressively steering them towards Feats or prestige classes, I'd suggest to that player that they consider things like Improved Trip, Improved Disarm, and the like... or many, MANY encounters in future encounters will provide minimal fun.

Ooo... I hope that last guy goes with artificer. Even better, a warforged artificer. Depending on what sourcebooks and web articles they draw on, they could pretty well do anything anyone else could do.
Otherwise, I'd consider well the advice offered by veryone else. However, it would only be fair to let PCs know in advance that the undead will eventually figure in fairly prominently. Also, once they've been exposed to teh worms, someone might want to go for that prestige class in the Wormfood article.

thanx guys...but i think my group will suffer some modifications, i don't think the monk will remain, at least he won't be using exalted deeds
and i guess the cleric will leave too so, one of them will have to change probably. i don't really now. when i do i'll post it here, thanx again, keep me posted hehe

as promised i've gone through the revision of the party, so things will most likely stay as follows (they may change again, i've got that feeling):
illumian ninja/rogue/invisible blade
human cleric (still don't know the deity)
warforged fighter/artificer/juggernaut
duskling barbarian/totemist/totem rager
human monk/tatooed monk
human paladin
i'm running this in eberron so any type of advice u want to add, should probably be based on that premessis
