The digital content page needs an overhaul. Different products are scattered around under various unrelated headings. For example, clicking the "Lost Omens" filter check box yields several 1st Edition APs, two distinct "Paizo: Campaign Setting" entries (huh?), and finally "Paizo: Setting," which is actually Lost Omens. Why not "Paizo: Lost Omens," and only include actual Lost Omens products?

Then, sometimes, every entry will expand itself, and the last time that happened, it took me over an hour to collapse them all (yes, I've bought a lot of products the last 10 years). Maybe a "collapse all" and "expand all" check box would be helpful.

Edit: mostly I think better categorization of various products would be a huge benefit. I'm not currently interested in downloading any 1E products, for example, so it would be nice if I could really isolate only 2E, and know that I got all of them. As is, I have to search through the whole page every time I want to check something...

Is it just me, or is the progression broken?

If you take the Runelord Archetype, you have to take the Runelord Dedication at 2nd level, which means you can't take the 4th level feat Aeon Resonance at 4th level*, because you didn't take Embed Aeon Stone at 2nd level, which means you can't take Aeon Resonance until 6th level, but it's the only dedication feat at 4th level.

What am I missing?

*Demiplane doesn't ever offer Embed Aeon Stone, not even later at 4th level, which is also broken, but that's another issue.

Edit: Nevermind, I see now that it's also a SKILL feat, which has to be taken at 2nd level as well.

Week 10:
The text for this entry says:
Quote:
During the following week, each PC can Prepare for the Feast three times, but doing so prevents that PC from having the time to perform any downtime activities.

but the activity itself does not have the preparation trait. Does this mean they can still do the usual food and security activities, just not normal downtime activities like earn income?

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber

As the town levels, should the businesses level, too? Or does it matter? I'm thinking in terms of earn income tasks.

As I mentioned previously, I have a resentment witch that I play, two barbarians (one is a duskwalker), and an angelic sorceror. While I enjoy playing characters, as the GM, I'd prefer to only run the NPCs. Oh well, if a 4th shows up, my witch gets to sit it out.

Anyway, we managed to get through the entire first chapter in one day (2 3-hour sessions). 12 weeks and 6 days left in the summer. Hehe, overachievers.

It looks like the feats for Close Ties and Southbank Traditionalist were swapped. The former is a charisma-based background with Specialty Crafting, while the latter is an intelligence-based background with Hobnobber. It doesn't make sense.

Spoiler:
Has Kugaptee been detailed anywhere? A simple description beyond "dead fiend" would be nice.

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber

My Account, Cart, and Help links do not work on Chrome.

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber

It took about a dozen tries for me to change a shipping method for an item that had been shifted out of my sidecart (thank you, customer service) using Edge, and it ended up with the wrong one.

However, I pulled it up in Internet Explorer and it worked the first time (I got it to the one I preferred).

I don't have other browsers on this machine, so I didn't try others.

Just an FYI.

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber

Spoiler:
Are there any statblocks for Cassomir or Katheer anywhere? Or any of the other big places visited in this AP?

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber

Why is it so difficult to update my payment method? This is absurd. There's no way to cancel my old card and entering a new card simply never updates the method.

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber

Ok, it looks like we're going to play a few weeks of a 2e shortly and I have a question about heightening spells for spontaneous casters. In short, why? If you have to have the higher level spell anyway, why would you ever say you're heightening the lower one? It doesn't make sense. Just cast the higher one.

I can see having both... you might not want to burn a higher slot on weaker targets, so having both saves the more powerful one for another battle. But it just seems like the sorceror will never really be heightening anything.

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber

I had to change my payment method recently but the "payment methods" page doesn't allow me to switch. No matter which "update" button I press (there are several, it is confusing) it still wants to use the old method. Is there a better way to do this?

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber

I'm about to run a verbal duel for my group and I have a question about how the tactics work for a team duel scenario. The rules are clear that the group has a common determination pool, but how do you handle tactics? Does everyone have their own list, or do you assign based on the best overall strategy picking one PC's bonus for a given tactic?

This also brings up a question about edges. If only one PC per tactic, is there only a number of granted edges based on that sole PC's skill, or does every one of the PC's get an edge based on his own skill?

Hello, unfortunately the Villain Codex box I got is missing a page of cards. In particular, the page that starts with a Death Chanter, containing mostly Death Cult and Demon Knights pawns, is missing. I have a duplicate of the first page (the one that starts with the Corrupt Scrivener). Is there a way that I can get that page?

This topic comes up every once in a while but never actually gets answered. In cases where a spell is on both the witch and wizard lists, but the witch level and wizard level differ, which does the hexcrafter choose? As an example, bestow curse is on the witch list at 3rd level, but the wizard list at 4th level. Which one does the hexcrafter take? Common interpretations vary. Hero Lab offers the spells at wizard level.

It is worth noting that every thread that has been marked for FAQ has also been marked as "Answered in FAQ," yet it is not. At least, if it has been answered, which FAQ? Certainly not Ultimate Magic, where the archetype is defined.

Thank you for getting my dice order out before you left for the holidays. As a result, I'll have them in hand for session 0 next Saturday, which is all I wanted.

Merry Christmas, Paizo!

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber

Is there a way to see actual quantities of items in my sidecart? I just submitted an order for several sets of dice, and my wonderful connection broke as I hit "submit order" leaving me with just a single entry in my sidecart with no quantity. For that matter, a separate sidecart tab would be awesome.

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber

Are there any plans to add Ironfang Invasion dice?

I'm curious how people handle economy with their campaigns. In particular, published material. I understand the stat-block limits on economy (maximum purchase, and base value) as well as previously available items. However, what do you do when they encounter items (particularly magic) that they don't need, but would rather have something different, but of equal value. Do you allow them to do an even trade if the new item is already there, e.g. say "I traded the +1 rapier for a +1 falchion" and move on? Do you make them sell it at 50% (plus whatever excise may be in play) before buying something back? What if there simply isn't something in stock?

This is particularly vexing for campaigns based in small locations with very low base values. Emerald Spire is based out of Fort Inevitable (as written) or Thornkeep, both of which have sub-2000 GP base values. That means they simply don't have +1 weapons other than what may be currently in stock. I do let my players pay to have local spellcasters enchant their weapons up to the spellcasting level limit (which limits them to +1 in both of these locations). Certainly in Emerald Spire, they'll want better than a +1 weapon by the end of the campaign (level 12 or 13).

I suppose one alternative is to just swap out the published treasure with things they will want to keep, but then I'm making decisions for them and that seems inappropriate. For our Giantslayer campaign, the amount of loot is ridiculous, and the 15th level party now has the ability to fly wherever they want (even teleport with the addition of a wizard), including big cities. For lower levels, however, I wonder if it's better to let them suffer a bit or not.

Part of my problem is that I've not experienced a ton of tabletop Pathfinder/D&D outside of our group. We always played without economy rules for our usual "fight of the week" campaigns. Now that I'm running APs and module-based campaigns, everything has suddenly changed and it has become clear that treasure unbalances the game much more than the 25-point builds we allow, but I don't know how others handle it.

Thoughts?

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber

Can you please take the Inner Sea Pawns and Villain Codex Pawns out of my sidecart (from order 4436570)? I still want the Bestiary 5 Pawns, however.

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber

Is someone going to start the stickies for each book? I think it's time! :)

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber

On 3 Feb I re-subscribed to the campaign setting with a start on Lands of Conflict and ship with next subcription but it didn't get in this shipment. At one point my side cart said it was going to ship separately, but that is gone now, too. I had a stray extra order in my shopping cart that I cleared out as well. Any idea what happened?

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber

Please cancel my campaign subscription and put the Qadira, Jewel of the East on in my sidecart (just like you did for David knott 242). I just don't need the Strange Aeons poster map folio since we aren't planning on playing it.

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber

I'm curious if we can expect a little attention for the oracle in any upcoming releases? Looking through the last several hardbacks, oracles aren't mentioned. I haven't scanned through all of the companions and campaign settings books, but it does look like the list of curses, in particular, hasn't changed a whole lot since the class was first introduced.

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber

For some reason when I started the module subscription it added both the mint and non-mint versions of of Down the Blighted Path. I definitely do not want to pay for two of the same thing. Can thus be changed, please?

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber

I have a player (Wizard) that has an arcane bond with her staff. She was recently given a rod. Is there a way to use the rod and cast at the same time? I am aware of the monkey belt, but such items won't be available for a while. For now, I'm going to GM hand wave "wearing" as having the staff on her back, but I was wondering what others thought?

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber

I have all of the PDFs so far (I signed up for the subscription on #2, so I still have to buy book 1) and I'm thinking about running a party through beginning some time after the first of the year. We were originally going to do this one a couple months ago but wound up doing Mummy's Mask instead (which I enjoy GMing, and I think my players are enjoying, too).

I'm a relative noob to the GM world though I have been playing D&D and similar since somewhere around 1980. My buddy got me into Pathfinder several years ago and we started a Kingmaker run last year around this time. Over the course of the past year I've gotten completely hooked. This one seems a bit tougher to GM than Mummy's Mask, however, given the inherent RP necessary, though I have some rather experienced players that don't mind "helping" when necessary. ;)

I'm just wondering... is it worth it? Is everyone liking this so far? What I've read really has me stoked. My MM campaign requires quite a bit of work since we started with a party of 8 (probably down to 6 now, however... phew). I plan on limiting this one to 5, so the amount of work shouldn't be too difficult to manage. I just want us to have fun... will we?

Thanks,

Mark
