A friend of mine is about to run a starfinder campaign so I popped into the paizo site to check out the latest playtest material, signed in with my old credentials then had an overwhelming feeling of nostalgia... Hey! So, I'd like to officially bow out of this campaign. Resource management issues and such. I'm still 100% committed to Skyfall, tho, so I'm hoping that it picks up and we all find our groove again! Fingers crossed for seeing some more posts in the next couple days!

Weekends are difficult to manage but I can post normally during the week. Like Theorythmus, I'm certainly interested, just unsure if I'd be able to meet your posting requirements. That being said, I'd love to draw up an elven ranger. Could you give me a little insight on where we'll be starting and/or any major elven compounds in your world?

I'd love to play a classic investigative piece. Male human Ranger hired to delve into what should be a routine XYZ case but soon finds himself caught up in some crazy-ass conspiracy :-) Most vanilla proposition, I know, but who doesn't love a mystery?
A little personal info: I live in NY, so that's an eastern time zone or GMT-4 (for the next few months, at least). You can check my aliases for a writing sample, if you'd like. I can make a switch between serious and lighthearted depending on preference. Normal poster M-F between 12:00 - 21:00 GMT and most nights after 1:00 GMT. Weekends are a give and take, depending on "social schedule" and weather.
All, Regretfully, I would like to officially resign from this campaign. It's been a blast but I've found myself at odds writing for my character and the spaces in time between major posting weeks only separated that attachment further. At least it can be said that my gentle ranger succeeded in everything he set out to do: killed the bad guy, rescued his sister, cleared up that pesky bandit issue aaaaaaaand fathered a half-elf ginger bastard ; all the while drinking himself blind and making friends at every turn! Yup, truly a wonderful legacy. That being said, I pass the character off to the indiscriminate meat-grinder of DM Aron's storytelling. Happy gaming, everyone! Dot! I just bought Boarderlands 2 and I've been thinking about how great the setting would be for D&D, so this works pretty naturally. I'll mull over some builds and post when I get home from work. Stats: -

Is there still open space for recruitment? I'm a huge fan of Gestalt and can bust out a character in like 30 mins. I could easily have him fleshed out by the end of the day too. I think I'd go Monk/Ninja and focus on all of those incredible Monk feats that are otherwise impossible to take. Let me know!!!

I'd like to play a Bard in this campaign. It seems like a really great choice for this style of play since general combat seems to be taking a backseat to role play and interaction. Attribute Rolls:

I'm not familiar with the Midguard setting but this campaign seems pretty neat. I'll try to dig up some info on the setting and if I like it I'll toss up a character later today.
I'm unfamiliar with League of Legends otherwise I'd be all over this. Would it put me at a loss if I created a character while reading up on the universe or is that just too obnoxious?

Piecing everything together now. I've decided to go with an elven archer with hopes of progressing into an Arcane Archer (something I've wanted to try since 3.5). After my stint as an adventurer, I'd likely multiclass to magus and then into AA after 6 levels or so. Long term plans seldom find fruition but what the H, why not give it a try? Is there a specific number of years between the obelisk events or do they just occur "naturally" in the world? **Note: Love the alignment setup. Much more insightful and inspires us to find our characters a lot easier than the traditional system. Kudos, sir/madam.**

I see that you're critiquing as we go so here's a link to my Work In-Process Character Sheet for Alton Mace. I'm shooting for the Bodyguard position and I'm working with an LE alignment, which is a pretty bid deal for me. I don't see it as permission to be a self-interested a$$**** but rather the kind of person who indiscriminately follows orders . Basically, he's a guard for hire. This weeks patron could be next week's victim if circumstance favored it. Let me know how everything looks. I'm certainly interested in a role play heavy campaign.
