I'm looking to join a Pathfinder campaign in my area or even here on the message boards provided I get a little info on the necessary resources. I live in Canandaigua but work in Rochester so anywhere in between isn't out of the question. From the looks of the achieves western NY is a tough place to throw dice. I'm 23 and well versed with Pathfinder and 3.5 rules. I'd like to find a group thats roughly in my age bracket or older so I can get some other serious gamers. Thanks internet!
It seems like a flavorful option to your standard wiz/fighter/AA. I could see spell strike stacking with the melee attack you get in stabbing shot.
As Spell Combat specifies: "... A magus can choose to cast the spell first or make the weapon attacks first, but he cannot cast the spell between weapon attacks if he has more than one attack." It takes two hands to attack with a greatsword but I wouldn't imagine you'd need both hands on it before and after. Its cast THEN attack (or vice versa) so why do you always need a free hand? |
