I had a question after reviewing the Chronicle Sheet: Spoiler:
To clarify, when the Focus of the Forum Social Boon states that one can requisition a non-expendable magic or hybrid item at a -2 level or lower, does that mean that I permanently acquire the item? My level 10 PC could, say, pick up a level 8 item for keeps and cross off the boon? Thanks for any insight you may have! I appreciate the help.
Beyond the Pool of Stars is one of my favorite books, period. It's a pulpy, crackerjack adventure with compelling heroes and a rollicking story that rockets right out of the starting gate. I don't often reread books, but I've read this one three times! (Also, I agree—I, too, would love more Pathfinder Tales!)

Thanks for taking the time to get back to me. Sounds good.
Will the alternate racial traits for playable Near Space races include options for Damai PCs? If so, will owning the book grant Society eligibility for playing a Damai? I have a boon to play a Damai, but the chronicle sheet says I need to own Alien Archive 2. I was curious if owning Near Space would meet those eligibility requirements as well. Thanks for your time and insight, folks.
Hey, folks. I have a related question regarding Professions in Society play. The CRB states that one must choose the ability score keyed to that skill; it then goes on to say that lawyer is a common Intelligence-based Profession. If, say, I am playing an infamous defense attorney who gets by more on personal magnetism and pure bluster rather than actual intelligence, is it possible to key Charisma instead? I'd appreciate any help and insight. Thanks. |
