Seeing that Grimkell was fine for the moment, Zisel stayed back knowing full well she wasn't the most useful on the front lines of anything. Aiming past Grimkell, she pointed a finger at the red bandit and let a small blast of ice spring forth from the tip. Ranged Touch Atk: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20

"The sick can probably be easily subdued. No need to fight what we don't have to," Zisel comments as she listens to Pym's report and helps Theora rope up the bandits. Is there a check for trying up unconscious people? "If we are going to go in, we should do it sooner rather than later. We don't need to give them any more prep time than they already have."

Seeing that the threat from this side of the building has been neutralized, Zisel moved swiftly towards Yeva. The rather strong woman seemed to be contending with a few more bandits on the other side of the lodge. "Are you hurt?" she called to Yeva as she approached jogged down the path of packed snow. Zisel watches Mirri and Theora shoot, being rather impressed by their aim at the bandits. She moved forward, positioning herself beside Grimkell. Combat was not her expertise... What to do... Without too much though, Zisel conjured two gallons of water above the Blue Bandit, dumping it on top of him. "I think everyone needs to just... cool off," she added with a snicker at her own wit. It wasn't a very damaging tactic, but maybe he'd get cold enough to retreat back inside.
Game left due to change in work situation
Zisel hurries forward, stopping beside Theora to assess the current situation. Enemies from all sides... Never a good thing. Rather than put her own feeble combat skills to work, Zisel casts bless upon her allies. Everyone get's a +1 moral bonus to attacks and saves vs fear effects. Yay!
Game left due to change in work situation
Zisel cringes at Grimkell's proclamations intended to draw the ruffians out. She'll have to have a talk with him later about letting her do all the talking. Zisel unsheathes her dagger, not that it has ever done much good, and readies herself on the off chance anything comes out that door. "So, if they don't come out, we're actually going in there?" she asks, concerned about her own skin more than anything else at this exact moment. She takes a deep breath, now was no time for wimping out!

My poor, aching, irl heart weeps for the imaginary horsey i imagined in my head ;n; Also, ty for moving me Grim! Zisel perks up when the sound of hooves thumping and crunching through snow suddenly picks up. I hope his plan had a follow up for the success. I don't know that I asked after that aspect of it... SHe holds her position for now, waiting for Grimkell's go ahead or next instructions. He had his head screwed on the right way if nothing else.
Game left due to change in work situation
Zisel follows Grimkell around the back quietly, stopping where he indicates in order to set up his plan. She's nervous, a fact that isn't well hidden if anyone happens to notice her wringing her skirts. Ambushing wasn't exactly something she was familiar with. Stealth: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 1 = 17 Grimkell, it'd be awesome if you could place me in a spot because I've got no idea where this action would put me.

"I don't think we have another option but to press forward, unless we plan to abandon the quest after coming so far," Zisel says with a grimace. She doesn't like the idea of a necromancer at all, nor going up against any of Pym's friends. "Hopefully we can negotiate with the Mephit if it's hostile. Or perhaps Pym will have some sway. Either way, lingering here in the cold is going to get us no where. We ought to go, and go now."

Fort against the cold? Have we gotten to outside endure elements temperatures?
"The man who plays with death?" Zisel repeated questioningly. "Is that some sort of fey being?"
Game left due to change in work situation
Zisel listens intently to Pym's report, equally as curious as Mirri about who Izoze was. Probably another fey if she had to guess. She watches the new comer with curiosity, holding her tongue on the questions about her eyes. Zisel, of all people, had no place to comment on such things. She shakes such thoughts from her head and looks to where Mirri had indicated they could cross unseen. "You think that'll give enough cover?" She wasn't questioning Mirri's judgement so much as voicing her own insecurities about this entire arrangement. "We should move cautiously, keep an eye for any hidden scouts or guards as we go."
Game left due to change in work situation
"Agreed. Caution should be our first priority, but we still need to take action sooner rather than later. I don't suppose any of you are more skilled at silence and stealth than myself? Despite having a good footing around her, my ability to do that with any amount of discretion is limited."
Game left due to change in work situation
Zisel eyes up the stranger curiously after finishing releasing their captive, dusting the snow off her dress before extending a hand to the stranger. "Another sister of the north. How peculiar that so many have been drawn here. I am Zisel, also from Irrisen, though I claim no noble lineage."
Game left due to change in work situation
With all in agreeable, Zisel loosens the man from his bindings. "Seems you'll get a second chance today. Hopefully you'll use it to redeem yourself in the eyes of the gods," she says to him. "I recommend that direction." She points back the way they came from, away from his companions. Knowledge(local): 1d20 ⇒ 11
Turning to Grinnell, she shrugs. "Used to be an order of Rangers who kept watch from Qadiran threats. But seeing as there is very little of that, the attentions turned to more local matters. Such as hunting bandits in the first. Almost seems ironic that the bandits are using it..."
Game left due to change in work situation
Zisel remains by the bandit, Jacob as she knows him by now, and shakes her head. Most bandits weren't more than disorganized groups of ne'er-do-wells. "Any idea who was paying you for this job? Were you privy to that sort of information?" Diplomacy: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18
She keeps a half an eye out over Grimkell and Mirri, curious to the on goings over there in the snow.

Changelings' heights as originally printed was a typo! They were supposed to be a base of 5'2" and they finally fixed that in the errata for the Advanced Race Guide. I believe if you use the rolling method for random height, you now have a height window between 5'4" and 5'10", making them comparable to a human rather than the 4'something creatures they were before. And ofc, like a human, there's always those super tall Victoria's Secret supermodel types who tower over normal people with their near alien levels of sexiness >.>

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23 Zisel sighed and looked down at the man. "I suppose I'm being a little demanding for a stranger, aren't I? I'm Zisel. A woman that you lot roughed up before I fled across the snows. You'll forgive me if I'm taking this matter a little personally..." Zisel's words trail off as she watches Grimkell and Mirri run after a form in the snow. They'll handle it, she thinks before kneeling down in front of the bandit. She's not sure if he's fully recovered from Mirri's colorful display, but it would probably be nicer to see a face instead of imposing figures when he did get his vision back. "So, let's start smaller. Who are you, and what does your... gang? Sure, you know what I mean, call themselves? Any sort of public manifesto?"
Game left due to change in work situation
Zisel comes to stand above the man with her arms crossed and looking down onto him as he throws his temper tantrum. Her glare could shoot daggers, but the effect is probably lost due to the fact that he may not be able to see her. "Oh, stop your fussing. You know very well you've been up to no good so you might as well give yourself a fighting chance of redemption now. It's either than or you can go explain your choices to the Lady of Graves now. So, again, you can either fuss until we send her to you, or calm down enough for us to exchange words. I'm personally for the later choice, as I think we'll all benefit more from it." Diplomacy: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25

I uh, don't know how the others feel but I can say I'm at least twelve different types of uncomfortable right now >.> I'm just gonna... leave it at that... Close this here door slowly... Flee for the hills... I'm one of those deer in headlights people. I startle easily, then freeze in the face of danger before running away and dying of a heart attack later.

Zisel muffles a laugh at the notion of a place without magic. Golarion lived and breathed magic. Even the most remote corners of the earth had some magic tucked away. "He's just stubborn, I'm sure, Pym. But, regardless, we might as well wait until he comes to."
Game left due to change in work situation
Zisel sends a ray of frost whizzing through the air towards the front-most bandit. Or, who she assumes is a bandit. Can't be to careful here, and she's been on edge since this whole ordeal started. "Identify yourselves!" she demanded as the concept of shooting first and asking questions later seems to take hold of the party. Ray of Frost Atk: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 1 = 16

"Well, yes I can take the long way around but I promise I'll be useless in terms of 'flanking'. I'm not sure why you figure me so sturdy. I'm much more suited to sitting in the back and making sure you all don't get skinned alive." Yeah, mechanically, this character is useless on the front lines, so I'm hoping that wasn't an in-character way of asking for a mechanical flank.
Game left due to change in work situation
Zisel frowns and follows Mirri quietly, straining to hear what Theora did and failing. Maybe all that snow crunching Mirri is doing. She heeds the older woman's warnings and attempts to avoid brushing against the foliage. But of course her throat would start to tickle like a cough may be on the way... Stealth: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11
Game left due to change in work situation
Zisel scoffs. "I can move without being hindered in the snow. That's doesn't translate to stealth." Zisel was not easy to challenge or intimidate. Not by some uppity elf, anyways. Besides, she wasn't here to die by walking into a bunch of bandits laying in wait in the snow.
Game left due to change in work situation
Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 15 "No idea, Mirri," Zisel mumbles as she inspects the tracks herself. She glances over her shoulder to the other three. "Any of you have the skill to tell what these might be a sign of, or how long they've been here? We should probably use caution if we are catching up. I'd hate to blunder into the lot of them."
Game left due to change in work situation
"We should push on," Zisel says once the body has burnt up as well as it can. "They day has hardly begun and the bandits are likely pushing forward." As much as she enjoyed the songs and the warmth of the fire, there was still a woman out there who needed saving and an unruly bunch of bandits. And what was with this unnatural snow anyways?
Game left due to change in work situation
Zisel has no issue helping prepare a pyre, though she immediately offers to locate the tinder rather than anything so heavy as a real log to burn. It isn't out of selfishness so much as an effort to avoid being seen as weak should she be unable to lift such a thing. She keeps half an eye on Jamarcus who seems to be shivering more than she'd like. "Hopefully the fire will warm you up as a helpful side effect," she commented while they prepared. She left the finer points of it all to Theora and Grimkell who seemed to know the poor fellow. I'm ready to move on when everyone else is :)
Game left due to change in work situation
Was he the skill monkey? I mean, I'm sure we can do it without him, but there may be some times when scouting or tracking comes up that become trickier. Skald gets lots of skill points too right? I'm sure we can all compensate if we plan from a metagame PoV and spread the skill love around to pick up any slack. Theora has great Dex and Wis which is going to be super helpful for that.
Game left due to change in work situation
Zisel leans her head away from Sootfeather's beak with a bit of a cringe. "Hey now, beaks to ourselves," she said, though she made no move to send the bird away. "Ah, Pym, it's alright. With you watching out for me, I shall never be left unguarded or unaware. I agree that crows are not... my favorite bird... but I will give the benefit of the doubt." Zisel moves closer to the body to give it a quick examination, thought she continues to leave the looting to others. She tries to gauge how long the body has been here. Was it a bandit, or just an unfortunate traveler? A local maybe? Why would the bandits leave a corpse without looting it? Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 6
Game left due to change in work situation
Zisel turned from watching the body's extraction to look at Lars. She raised both brows in skeptical judgement and shook her head as he man walked away, even with Grimkell shouting at him. She gives a shrug, she hadn't had time to get attached anyways, and returned her focus to the body. Mirri appeared to by trying out a bow and Zisel stepped to the side to ensure she was not in the line of fire. "Odd," she commented aloud, but at exactly what (as there were a few odd things going on at once) was a mystery.
Game left due to change in work situation
"Or maybe they just came prepared," Zisel offered, looking around at the folks who were getting quite cold. "It's possible they're better equipped to cover the terrain. You lot do move quite slowly across it." Of course, Zisel says that as she stands on top of the snow without falling through, not a footprint to be found from her. Hardly a fair judgement. "Do the tracks suggest any sort of horses, dogs, or sleds? I'm afraid my ability to read tracks is... well, nonexistent."
Game left due to change in work situation
"I heard that," Zisel grumbled to Grinnell as she passed. "Where I'm from, calling someone a witch has some very specific connotations. In other places it has others. None are pleasant." Zisel very purposefully avoids letting Grimkell get close, using her quicker speed across the snow to stay at least thirty feet from Grimkell at any given time. She was beginning to dislike being 'supervised' when it was her who was surrounded by strangers, not them.
