Good news! I got a message from DM Raltus.

It's only a very busy real life, that is keeping him away from the boards at the moment.

He'll be back.
Read in Arnold's voice. ;)

As the dwarf and the bard are drunken enough to take over the choir duty, she stops and moves to the galley. There has to be something to eat that is not of questionable origin like Ingrahild's stew.

Perform(Sing): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25

"I hate to sail on this rotten tub.
Leave her, Johnny, leave her!
No grog allowed and rotten grub.
And it's time for us to leave her."

"Pearls before swine." Yorikata thinks, as she hears her uncultured companions complaining and planning to numb themself out on ale.

(Unchained Rogue - Sylvan Trickster 5) Init +4, Perc +9, AC 18/14/14 (+2vs Giants), F+3/R+8/W+2(+2 vs. Charm) HP44 DD+14

Yorikata estimates the distance and how quick she could get away again, in case it turns sour. She takes a deep breath and then starts singing at the top of her lungs.
"I thought I heard the Old Man say:
Leave her, Johnny, leave her.
Tomorrow you will get your pay,
And it's time for us to leave her.

Leave her, Johnny, leave her!
Oh, leave her, Johnny, leave her!
For the voyage is long and the winds don't blow
And it's time for us to leave her..."

Yorikata changes into fox form and sneaks over the water.
Stealth: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (9) + 19 = 28

She walks around the boat, changes back and climbs aboard. She carefully looks around who is on deck.
Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10

(Unchained Rogue - Sylvan Trickster 5) Init +4, Perc +9, AC 18/14/14 (+2vs Giants), F+3/R+8/W+2(+2 vs. Charm) HP44 DD+14

"I'm pretty sneaky, but I don't knwo if I can climb the boat." Yorikata ponders the options.

"But when we walk on water, we're at a decent height to start. But what do we do once we're on board? Sneak into our quarters? Because, I don't think Halrex is fun, when we try to scare her."

(Unchained Rogue - Sylvan Trickster 5) Init +4, Perc +9, AC 18/14/14 (+2vs Giants), F+3/R+8/W+2(+2 vs. Charm) HP44 DD+14

Yorikata crawls out of the backpack and changes to human form. "Yeah, sure. You're an orc. You don't even know what real darkness is. You're just to lazy to come out!"

"I seriouslay have to ask Halgra of the Blackened Blades what she paid you for the passage. I get the feeling it was too much."

(Unchained Rogue - Sylvan Trickster 5) Init +4, Perc +9, AC 18/14/14 (+2vs Giants), F+3/R+8/W+2(+2 vs. Charm) HP44 DD+14

"We'll go to redlake fort to wipe out the Twisted Hearts Orc Tribe." Yorikata tells.

(Unchained Rogue - Sylvan Trickster 5) Init +4, Perc +9, AC 18/14/14 (+2vs Giants), F+3/R+8/W+2(+2 vs. Charm) HP44 DD+14

"Let's be accurate here - the ship has a crew which are all half-orc, but the coxswain, who is an orc woman. And so far none has tried to eat us. And as I worked in the galley I can tell they are also not hiding half humans in the pantry. Also no dwarves."

"If it weren't for the pointy ears you could just imagine those half orcs as constantly seasick humans."

(Unchained Rogue - Sylvan Trickster 5) Init +4, Perc +9, AC 18/14/14 (+2vs Giants), F+3/R+8/W+2(+2 vs. Charm) HP44 DD+14

"It's a foul place. We just never ever go back in there." Yorikata comments. "The question is. Can they come out, or do they also need the lantern? Has anything besides us come out from there, since you set up camp here?" she asks Ingrahild.

Yorikata compares the places Dain and Ingrahild have chosen. She doesn't see much difference but the work Ingrahild has already put in. And as she is no big fan of manual labor the is fine with using the place the dwarf chose.

"Looks like a great spot." Yorikata tells, while already standing ankle deep in water.

(Unchained Rogue - Sylvan Trickster 5) Init +4, Perc +9, AC 18/14/14 (+2vs Giants), F+3/R+8/W+2(+2 vs. Charm) HP44 DD+14

(Unchained Rogue - Sylvan Trickster 5) Init +4, Perc +9, AC 18/14/14 (+2vs Giants), F+3/R+8/W+2(+2 vs. Charm) HP44 DD+14

"Oh, the humanity! Do never go in there. It's horrible. Eveil fey behind every corner. Plants that want to swallow you whole, or suck your blood out. And all that for a few lousy weapons most of us can't use."

"Oh, and we found Ardashir. He's a nice guy. He had it even worse ending up in that place. Because we are back where we went in. He is still hundreds or thousands of miles away from where he came there."

(Unchained Rogue - Sylvan Trickster 5) Init +4, Perc +9, AC 18/14/14 (+2vs Giants), F+3/R+8/W+2(+2 vs. Charm) HP44 DD+14

Yorikata jumps at the menhir to get out of that cursed hole already.

(Unchained Rogue - Sylvan Trickster 5) Init +4, Perc +9, AC 18/14/14 (+2vs Giants), F+3/R+8/W+2(+2 vs. Charm) HP44 DD+14

"Last one is a lame duck." Yorikata calls out as she runs.

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (3) + 18 = 21
Just in case it counts as narrow

He can cast anything without gestures. Besides that he'd have to roll a harsh 35% failure chance.

(Unchained Rogue - Sylvan Trickster 5) Init +4, Perc +9, AC 18/14/14 (+2vs Giants), F+3/R+8/W+2(+2 vs. Charm) HP44 DD+14

I'm not sure how far back we got for free. We used the rope with the lily pads, as not all did dare to try the acrobatics.

But if we're already checking seed bags in the vault's shed then we got back for free to the main room, where the bridge with the invisible stabbers starts.

I moved everyone on the map to the lily pads or over if a post told so. Waiting there for clarification.

(Unchained Rogue - Sylvan Trickster 5) Init +4, Perc +9, AC 18/14/14 (+2vs Giants), F+3/R+8/W+2(+2 vs. Charm) HP44 DD+14

Yorikata checks if there is a lock and if there is one, she locks it.

The fog obscures all sight, including darkvision, beyond 5 feet. A creature within 5 feet has concealment (attacks have a 20% miss chance). Creatures farther away have total concealment (50% miss chance, and the attacker can’t use sight to locate the target).
That shouldn't be a hindrance to walk along a wall to the door.

(Unchained Rogue - Sylvan Trickster 5) Init +4, Perc +9, AC 18/14/14 (+2vs Giants), F+3/R+8/W+2(+2 vs. Charm) HP44 DD+14

Moving along the wall to the door, checking if it is open/unlocked.

In my opinion it is normal that a fight is easy, if save or suck build gets the good stuff to stick.

On the other side, this AP is pretty much all hacking through strong enemies. Which we are now capable of. But wait until we get to fight the twisted hearts tribe and not those endless rows of weed, that are immune to mind affecting effects. Then the fun starts.

(Unchained Rogue - Sylvan Trickster 5) Init +4, Perc +9, AC 18/14/14 (+2vs Giants), F+3/R+8/W+2(+2 vs. Charm) HP44 DD+14

Regeneration or not. Being cut open has to leave scars. Yorikata looks fo rtwhere the scor from her cutting her way out is. Then she cuts the tree open right at the same place.

I guess Dain gets swallowed with this, as only there the paralysis sets in?

Yorikata goes for the stabby stab stab.

Against better judgement Yorikata turns back into a combat vialble form to join the fight.

(Unchained Rogue - Sylvan Trickster 5) Init +4, Perc +9, AC 18/14/14 (+2vs Giants), F+3/R+8/W+2(+2 vs. Charm) HP44 DD+14

Yorikata grabs the rest of the items that no one has claimed yet and packs them on Ardashir to carry.

Is still everything there, or is something missing?

"This vault is cleared out and there are no druids left to take care of it. I'd like it very much to pay back this foul tree for trying to eat me, but it doesn't make a real difference."

"But I fear we are totally incapable to sneak past that thing. Last time we acted like a bunch of headleass chicken, when we tried that."

(Unchained Rogue - Sylvan Trickster 5) Init +4, Perc +9, AC 18/14/14 (+2vs Giants), F+3/R+8/W+2(+2 vs. Charm) HP44 DD+14

(Unchained Rogue - Sylvan Trickster 5) Init +4, Perc +9, AC 18/14/14 (+2vs Giants), F+3/R+8/W+2(+2 vs. Charm) HP44 DD+14

She stops while looking at Lanneth "Or is there something really good with those papers and sticks?"

Yeah. Thinking something like a cross between Johnny Cage from Mortal Kombat, Steve Irwin because he's just awesome, and the fad of celebrities on the decline filming their "real life" to bring their popularity back up.

Got an idea I want to try out. An action vid star who wants to go off and do a self-filmed "documentary" about "real life" on the frontier. He'll be a Lashunta Soldier Icon.

"I dunno, heard about this one rabbit, terrorized a lot of people. Could eat a man whole in seconds. I think it was finally stopped by some kind of divine explosive spell, not sure about that," Murassa offered as they looked over the doors. "Of course, not sure if it was true or not, just something I heard in the orphanage years ago."

Let it not be said that I can't find a way to make a reference to anything Monty Python.

Skjor was at a loss for words. They wanted the secret to...Doritos? Before he could stop himself, he let out great booming laughs, clutching his side with each shake. "Y-Y-you've b-been taking people to learn ab-bout chips?!" Unable to continue speaking?, he found himself rolling on the floor.

Vandra watched in stunned horror the destruction of his village. The cultists' laughter as they slaughtered everyone he knew froze the blood in his veins. "No no no nononono..." he muttered, unconsciously falling to his knees. His eyes wide, hands gripping the side, he started searching for his home. Finding the crooked weather vane he always promised to fix, he was just in time to hear the high-pitched scream as a blade cut into him mother's chest. Unable to block sight nor sound, he caught his own cry of despair and agony. Finally collapsing into a ball, all he could whisper were apologies.

As he readied himself to try and save Furnok, the wound from early suddenly overtook him. As pain suffused his entire being, Vandra barely heard his mother's shriek as he bonelessly collapsed onto the ground. Before consciousness fully left him, his last thoughts, strangely enough, were on the woman in Sandpoint that seemed to care so much when he fell ill. He should have spent more time with her, time he'd never get now...

Do we have to contend with any passive dragon abilities, like a fear aura or something like that? Need to know as fear effects affect my spellcasting. Also, I know I checked in on Thursday, dunno why it didn't say I had an update.

As the dragon rose from the lava below, Murassa paused for a moment. Really, a dragon? A dragon? A dragon?! Why couldn't they come across a level of fluffy bunnies or something like that? Of course, knowing their luck, with strange undead and devils and the like, the bunny would be some kind of evil fiend only harmed by a very unique divine explosive.

Shaking that strange thought out of his head, Murassa closed his eyes in concentration before thrusting out with mental energy, hoping to do something, anything, against a creature like that.

Mind Thrust III Damage: 8d8 ⇒ (4, 5, 7, 8, 3, 3, 6, 6) = 42

According to the FR wiki page, the Many-Arrows kingdom was founded only two years before the game started, so I'm gonna go with that unless told otherwise.

Fluffy Bits of Uvekin and Greyfur:

Born before the founding of the Kingdom of Many-Arrows to the strange union of man and she-orc under Selune's dark sky, Uvekin had always been odd. Finding his joy in nature rather than with his own kind, he spent the majority of his formative years gathering herbs and hunting game. He found his soon-to-be faithful companion Greyfur as a pup, trying to defend his dying mother from a rabid wolf. Quickly putting down the creature, he helped nurse the oddly-colored black wolf, weaning it from liquids to solids over time.

It was during the violent transition from being a group of raiding orc tribes to a peaceful kingdom that Uvekin discovered what he believed was his destiny. Hunting with Greyfur between battles, they were set upon by a small sect of Gruumsh zealots, set on sacrificing their lives to keep the orcs on the traditional path. Fighting their way free, badly wounded, Uvekin collapsed beneath a tree, the light of the full moon shining upon his body and Greyfur licking the wounds with a near silent whine. As he felt his life ebbing away, he was visited by a beautiful woman with flowing silver hair and a mischievous grin. Feeling his wounds heal and his strength return, the that thing he heard was "It is not quite your time, not just yet. You still have much to learn, much to do," before waking up with the morning light, Greyface just watching him with a wolfish grin.

After the successful founding of the Many-Arrows Kingdom, Uvekin and Greyfur took their leave, set on traveling the land and learning more about the goddess that appeared before him. During his travels, he met a strange dwarf named Flarghin Ironstone, who seemed to completely ignore, or out-right not notice, his orcish ancestry, he helped the man put down a small goblin incursion. Leaving on good terms, he wouldn't hear from him again until he received a strange message...

Hope this works for ya!

Giving a sigh at people's antics, Skjor looked at the others before saying, "Shall we attempt to keep everybody's genitalia inside one's clothing? I would much appreciate it." Turning towards the surrendered demon, Skjor said, "You have relinquished yourself into our care, demon. I do not like you, you have gone against the natural order of nature by tampering with the very fabric of time itself. For that alone I should part your foul head from your body. What they said. I've actually had a blast so far with this game (even if I can't win a dice roll for anything), and the RP in this game has been some of the best I've been in since I started playing in PbP. I know that I've been a bit b****y about my dice rolls, but that has nothing to do with this game or your style as GM. The dice bots just don't like me. Please don't change this to straight out of the book...

Oh, no, that's not why I did that. I got over my crappy rolls. Honestly, this was my original intent when I realized how this was going, though if we do come up with a better idea I'm all for it. The vigilante class would be an interest idea. It would be ironic, as my vigilante identity would be my real one and the civilian identity would be my false one... We'd just have to come up with a really good way for Pylos disappear. With spells like Speak With The Dead and myriad resurrection spells, a random body would be pointless.

Don't worry, Kethaera, I've got an idea swimming in my head to turn this to our advantage. It's not finalized yet, as I want to see what other people can think of, but even if Pylos dies, the fight will go on!

"Kethaera, calm down and think!" Pylos said loudly, his fist banging on a table. "All that law means is that Barzillai and the church can't do anything overtly. And suddenly claiming to follow Shelyn would be readily figured as an admission of guilt. No, I either go to the church on Sunday, or something happens to me. Besides, do you really want your church to come under intense scrutiny at this time?"

Looking over a Phillip, an idea swimming in his head and slowly finding purchase, Pylos said, "No, with the spells available to a priest, a random corpse would be discovered as soon as the body was found. But maybe...maybe it wouldn't have to be a fake corpse... And Kethaera is right, we cannot implicate the Silver Ravens."

As Tarnagius' rant wound down, Pylos' entire changed. His body stilled, his face carefully blank, and a cold aura surrounded him. "Oh, you're quite right. I do joke, I do make inappropriate comments. I am quite aware of what I do. It is a defense mechanism, if you want to get technical. A defense to keep myself sane as the sole owner of a conscience in a family that, quite literally in some cases, cavorts with fiends from Hell," he said, voice the temperature of fresh-laid snow. Giving a sigh, Pylos looked straight into Tarnagius' eyes. "Okay, Tarnagius, we need to talk. I get that you were raised up as a proper Chelish nobleman, with all the crap that entails, but you need to settle down. These fine ratfolk have kindly put us up in their own home, allowing us to hide our efforts from Barzillai's thugs. Jules, here, has more of a reason to hate us than we do him, not that I have any negative feelings towards him, and has been a great help. As for Kethaera, she probably has the least reason to help out on Kintargo than any of us. Indeed, she'd he more than welcome in pretty much any major, and some minor, city in the country. All of them want to help bring down Barzillai and get this city back to the splendor it once had." His gaze hardening, Pylos leaned over the table. "So the question remains, can you maintain a civil tongue while in the presence of these people?"
