Wodin nods at Garron, draining his mug. "Good luck in your travels." The tall priest stands, returns the mug to the barkeep, and moves to leave, leaving the others with a pleasant grin. "And to the rest of you, as well!"

Honestly, I think the "throwing people into space" is hilarious thematically, but will probably be terribly unfun in practice. Your character is really interesting and well-made, but doesn't really need this ability in order to be effective and fun, especially since it seems almost common sense to me that you can't actually use this combo to kill people outright.
I had actually intended to mostly play Wodin as a backline defender, healing the group and keeping squishy caster types from getting smooshed. As far as his Mythic stuff, it's just to improve his Collective and help him be better at beating up folks who try and kill his charges. He's a shepherd trying to protect his flock! :) -e- If Zoruugasz is waiting for official word on if Body Bludgeon + Limitless Range works, we could be waiting years. D:

If I can hit a target, they cannot miss. Stuff like that. 1v1 was unintentionally adversarial. But 'If I can succeed, they cannot fail' is a recurring theme on my character... in relation to the things (I thought) she is good at. Does that make better sense? Okay, I see what you're saying. To point, however, Yin looks at her character and feels like she's useless. I look at Yin's character and feel like she stomps all over me in quite a few important fields. Does this mean that either of our characters won't be able to contribue? I'm actually not so sure. A quick glance at your sheet had me curious, because your ability scores seem ridiculously low, even considering headbands and stuff. Did you use normal point buy or the 1:1 increase method? With ability score modifiers from your race that add up to +10, I honestly have no clue how your scores are so low. Especially since you got another +3 from leveling up and then a +4 to your primary stats from the belt/headband.
I tried to keep Wodin to a rather standard gestalt power level (Metaforge and Vitalist aren't very synergistic at all; Metaforge enjoys the added versatility of being a manifester, Vitalist enjoys having free armor, weapons, and flight) and the template is more for flavor than actually boosting his stats. Pretty much, the end goal was "can fly, can fight, can heal" and while he's probably not the most effective frontliner (but still damn good), he's no slouch for a character that is designed to be a group healer. I have noticed the spread between individual characters is huuuuuuuge in some cases. I don't think comparing how you'd do against them in a 1v1 fight is terribly indicative of anything, though. We're going to ostensibly be on the same side, afaik.

For the purposes of everyone retaining their sanity (mostly his own, though), Wodin continues to nurse his drink, rather than responding to Aannra's request of the other Gossamer Lord.

Wodin thanks the waitress who brings him another drink, tipping her before beginning to sip at the mug once more. He watches the other converse, his calm smile returning. 'Getting worked up over making of misunderstandings is of foolishness. Must be making of better impression on others, yes,' the Paragon thinks to himself. ~Scolding self is wasting of time, comrade. There is much to be done!~ Wodin's psicrystal seems to love to pick the least opportune moments to add its 'wisdom'.

Wodin presses a meaty paw to his face, sighing heavily. He slips back into his normal speech patterns as he continues, "Am of tired of this. Came here to relax, not to of having existential argument with obtuse construct. Use of powers on others strictly forbidden, understood?" Hefting his mug, Earthbreaker pounds back the rest of the liquid therein and motions to the barkeep for another. Once again, Wodin's psicrystal decides to add its two copper, saying, ~Glory is not to of being had in preaching!~ ~Hush face. More tired now than when getting here,~ the priest complains in his own mind.

"Like my lady, the Dawnflower, I have love for all living beings. But this does not mean I will not try and lead them to do what is right. Yes, I have emotions, and that is not to my detriment. It is my love of righteousness that guides my path, my hope for a peaceful and joyous future," the priest says, sighing lightly and running a hand through his hair. "Should you continue to ignore these emotions, and others, in all of the Lords and Ladies gathered here, I can only imagine it will not end with well-intentioned advice. You have no right to be scanning anyone, least of all folk who have clearly gathered here for the simple purpose of resting." ~Is cold woman, yes? Like Priestess of North, haha!~ Wodin's psicrystal pipes up in the Soyuzite's mind, but is ignored. "Simply put, using your powers on any of the good folk here will not be tolerated," the priest finishes. Wodin really does see this as a gross invasion of privacy, something akin to just walking up to a stranger and putting your hand in their shirt. It's just something you don't do, especially unprovoked.

Wodin shakes his head, a soft smile on his face. "We are all surely here for a reason. Unsubstantiated suspicion is one thing, and I don't blame you for not feeling entirely comfortable among this many wielders of great power. But to trespass on the sacred ground that should remain inviolable, the mind, that's something else entirely. There are certainly better ways to assuage your fears than to continue to barrel your way into the deepest sanctum of other people. Especially when you've already been asked to stop. Twice." Throughout his entire reproach, the Soyuzite maintains a calm, fatherly tone. He is not berating the woman, simply explaining why her actions are not acceptable. "Did you ever consider asking, rather than trying to force your way into others' thoughts?"

Wodin sighs as he feels a prodding in his mind. The air fills with the scent of cinnamon as his eyes flash a soft blue as he turns to give Aannra a tired look. "Lass, I am pretty sure multiple people have already asked you to not going digging around in their heads. It's rude," he says, his tone clearly not intended to scold the woman, but rather to explain what she's done wrong. Wodin manifests Personal Barred Mind.

Wodin listens to Genjo's plight, rubbing his chin with a concerned look. "I only wish more worlds were like mine," he grieves. "Hopefully you will be able to free the rest of your people. If I were not pressed to protect my own world, I would certainly wish to help you regain your own."

Wodin looks to each of the newcomers, each unique and interesting in their own ways. "This may be the most eclectic group I've ever seen. The Great Stair certainly is a varied place," he comments, before taking another drink from his mug.

Wodin's smile slips as Suchak explains the existence of beings beyond the Soyuzite's comprehension. "That sounds terrible. I can only hope these Great Old Ones are not behind the disturbances affecting my world. No one could ever want such wanton destruction inflicted upon their home!"

Wodin listens to the others talk amongst themselves, taking short sips from his drink. ~Is strange. Are similar, but so much of difference. Great Stair is of very interesting...~ the Soyuzite speaks over his collective, receiving a brash laugh in response. ~Big one is talking of glorious combat! Is all this one is concerned of!~ Wodin's psicrystal responds, still glowing softly from its place around his neck. ~You are of knowing that taking of life is sad event. Even Krievish soldiers are of having families. Of being misguided and foolhardy, but still are being of people,~ the priest respoonds, but the soft grin on his face does not fade as he continues to converse with the sentient crystal as he listens to the others speak.

Wodin quietly listens, grinning as the woman tells of her world. "Indeed, it is fascinating," he says, agreeing with Suchak's statement. "My home, Soyuz, is quite different. It is a wonderful place where most of the world lives in peace and harmony. Were it not for the misguided few, powers like mine would have no purpose beyond protecting against situations like the one that led me here in the first place," he explains. "Most notably, I have noticed that except for people like our friend here," he motions to Garron with his half-empty mug, before continuing, "the vast majority of things are a good deal smaller than on Soyuz. Even I am only of average height for my people." "My people call her 'the Green Planet', as our oceans are a crystal emerald color, and our plantlife grow hearty and hale. Soyuz is a wonderful place, and I hope to see her soon become the peaceful utopia her people have worked towards," he says, sighing wistfully. "But first, I must assure that whatever continues the disturbances from beyond the veil can be controlled, if not prevented. It is my duty as Soyuz's Gossamer Lord, after all."

The Soyuzite takes a small handful of mixed nuts and fruits and pops it into his mouth, chewing thoughtfully. "Should our paths cross in the future, your company will be welcome. But it is my duty to protect my world, and mine alone."

Wodin grins knowingly as he nurses his drink. "Yes, that is the case. It has fallen upon me to investigate the disturbances beyond the veil that are affecting my world. I am blessed with many wonderful companions that are taking care of my duties at home, while I am here speaking with you lovely folk," he replies to Suchak, while motioning to the others with his mug. "It has been quite a while since I came through the Door connecting my world to this one, however, so it is about time I take a short break."

Stepping into the boisterous tavern is a man standing well over seven feet tall and adorned in simple blue and gold cleric's robes. With short, neatly-trimmed hair and beard, and bright blue eyes, he appears to be little more than a very tall priest. However, the area around him seems somewhat brighter, as if he is giving off a dull light. Around his neck is a strange, off-grey crystal on a lanyard that also seems to glow softly. Approaching those already seated, the man smiles and bows slightly. "Is seat taken?" he asks, his voice calm but somewhat rough. Without waiting for an answer, the priest looks towards the bar and motions for a drink. He turns back to the people at the table and smiles again. "I am called Father Wodin, am pleased to of making acquaintance."
Rynjin, you could probably pick up Mind Daggers and fluff it at something else (laser punches!). It's not quite the same, but it's better than nothing! :) -e- GM, I'm thinking I'm going to move all my background and the other stuff from my application to a Pastebin, and I'll just link to it in my profile. Does that sound okay? -double-edit!- Welp, I found an even better solution. I've moved all of Wodin's application information to a Google Document which can be found here. :)
Okay, I was scrolling through the templates again because I am bored, and what did I find? Solaric Creature, which seems a good bit less powerful than Holy Creature, but also seems WAY more in line with Wodin's flavor: he's blessed by the Goddess of the Sun, and I really can't imagine a way to be more fitting for the template!
So on a whim, I decided to glance through some templates. Would Holy Creature (CR +1) be an acceptable option? Would it take up one level on one side of the gestalt, or one level on both? I feel like they may help make it clearer that Wodin's clearly not just a normal Soyuzite anymore, that the faith and goodness that brought Sarenrae to visit him personally has truly empowered him.
Animals are indeed larger on Soyuz than they are on other similar planets. Really, if you just made Earth ~1.2x larger than it is now, and scaled everything that lived there similarly, that's pretty much what Soyuz is like. There are continents, but they're much closer together, and there is less ocean compared to Earth. So when I say the Doman Empire controls ~70% of the landmass of Soyuz, that's big! Hel controls roughly 15%, Kriev manages to cling to roughly 5%, and there are probably a few other small unaligned nations that control the other 10% of the planet's surface. The Doman Empire is pretty strictly a NG society, so they're not really trying to jam their peace and order down anybody else's throat. It's how they managed to get so big: they allied with lots of countries, and eventually everybody was like "Well, we'll just stick around because this is working out." As far as the race goes, I'll make those changes now. I've named people of Wodin's race "Soyuzites" because they are the predominant race of the planet, but not the only sentient one. There are elven, dwarven and goblinoid races, too, but obviously larger than their Golarion equivalents.
