Just saw this order hit pending. (Squee!)

But I recently got a new card number, and checked... I have not updated here for my subscriptions.

I added the new card# and updated my subscriptions to use it, but not sure if the pending order will have any difficulties, or get delayed.

Thanks!

Starfinder Superscriber

Nevermind :P I found them on the store, and they say free! Huzzah!

Starfinder Superscriber

Popping in as well. Just a normal subscriber, and missing the sfs scenarios as well.

Starfinder Superscriber

Will the Society playtest pdf's be free?

On a related note. Two more spots left to fill on high tier!

Must have missed the window by a little bit. I signed up in the first wait-spot. Let me know if there ends up being an opening. Thanks Cellion!

Looks Good! Thanks a ton for running this!

Thanks! Gm Bret!

Sweet thank you

Starfinder Superscriber

Looks like I just got a single email with 'complete' and they are in my digital content section, that was fast :) roll with it more often ;) hehe Thanks

Cool... A little off topic, but what's the best way to look-for and sign for more starfinder pbp here on the forums?

Starfinder Superscriber

Just was going to post this, you're on top of it Arc... Man I want to dig into 1-12 already!

Starfinder Superscriber

Checked again today. Still not updated.

No worries, just touching base again.

Starfinder Superscriber

Thanks!

Starfinder Superscriber

My order 4940234 is 'complete', and sitting in my sidecart.

Order 4541635 is 'pending', (I have received 1 item, received about a week ago). But the rest of that order is waiting for the subscription(Starfinder AP) to ship with it.

Any chance to get my side cart added to it since it's still pending. If it's too late, that's fine, waiting on my sidecart until next month isn't a problem, I don't need it asap.

Thanks!

Tier level, got it. Awesome. Thx

Hey Sharaya/Sara, I have a similar situation to some others above. My order 4940234 is 'complete', and sitting in my sidecart.

Player Name: Wismac
Character name: Joven Kevallah
SFS# 275764-701
Faction: Second Seekers
ComeOnBoon!: 1d20 ⇒ 111d2 ⇒ 1

Also question, just to confirm. With this, since it's pre-mades lvl4, you cannot apply it to your character until they are level 4, correct?

Starfinder Superscriber

Trying to download Commencement now gives "was not found on this server." error

Clicking the "having a problem downloading this file" link, fixes it and the file downloads, but it is still not the updated file.

Starfinder Superscriber

Same here.

Also Special- Quests Into the Unknown doesn't look to have been updated on the download section either. I got and email for that one as well.

Ya, I have him on Discord, I sent him a couple messages, will reply if I learn anything.

Pokes Charz.... Then Pokes Ferret.

Starfinder Superscriber

Still isn't showing up. (I have downloaded it already, so it's not a huge deal.) Glad to see the tech team is aware.

thank you

Starfinder Superscriber

The Ruined Clouds (Dead Suns 4 of 6) was on my downloads before the site redesign, but is now missing.

Thanks in advance

Well... well... fine ;)

*begins writing a comm-message to suggestions@StarfinderHQ on supplies for potential dangerous missions*

yup drake is good...

GM: If I wanted to stock up on a half dozen grenades or so for the mission. Would I need to expend my own creds? Or could the quartermaster supply me up before we leave?

You don't have to choose "slotless" boons, they are always active, just a heads up.

From the 'Starfinder Society Roleplaying Guild Guide' Pg7.

Quote:
Slotless boons don’t take up any of your character’s slots; they are in essence always active. There is no limit on how many slotless boons you can have active at a time.

Joven is Slotting:
Second Seekers: Luwazi Elsebo Champion (Faction Boon)
Instructor (Social Boon)

I think either ship will be fine.

You know Joven is ;) Icon - Politician

excitement ... twitching ... must control

Awesome, Thanks Silbeg!

I'll roll with Altronus. Setting up alias and will post on the gameplay in a few.

Thanks again!

Bah I got Claim to Salvation kickstarted back up, but might miss... Busy weekends, Curse you... just kidding i love ya fam!

I'm here. Hopefully not too late. No time to check on the weekends.

2 people marked this as a favorite.

What happened to the "Claim to Salvation" game that was on line 82 of the signup sheet? I was signed up and looking forward to that. Looks like someone deleted that line around 2am last night.

Starfinder Superscriber

This is great! Thanks for doing this. Love it!

Starfinder Superscriber

Talked with a friend and maybe figured a bit about my 2nd question. (still no idea on the original Hardness questions, Please paizo rules lawyers help us!)

For a Collision, we think there is no avoidance roll.

Because a "Ram" action says...

"If the target of the ram action is a creature, it can attempt a Reflex saving throw against the vehicle’s collision DC to avoid being hit. If the target of the ram action is another vehicle, the pilot of the defending vehicle can attempt a Piloting check to avoid being hit, with a DC equal to the result of your Piloting check. The attacker wins ties."

Since there is no such rule-text on any of the Collision entries then there is no avoidance.

Thoughts?

Starfinder Superscriber

Would love to ping this, as it hasn't be answered and I have the same question, and a couple others.

On a Collision attack you make a piloting check with a DC = to the enemy vehicle's KAC. (cool I got it.)

But each vehicles also has a DC by it's collision attack which if I'm reading and understanding it right, allows the target to 'avoid' your collision.

Is this a "Piloting" check or a "Reflex" save? I can see arguments for either.

Also doesn't this make a collision attempt twice as hard to succeed since there are two chances for you to fail. Once on your attack, and then again (if you hit) when the target gets their chance to avoid?

Starfinder Superscriber

Added a bit of flavor text for the ending... Thanks Tiger for a great 'tutorial' mission. Looking forward to using it.

Your, vision goes black except for a single word, that says 'Complete'. You disconnect from the hardware, the screen in front of you says, Simulation has ended. Your results are: calculating..... it takes a good 15 seconds as your heart pounds a little bit. You know this is probably the only way you can make your life better, and just when you start to think about going back to your mundane job, a single word in green flashes on the screen. Qualified.

It then says, security credentials have been copied to your identa-chip, which pops out of the console a little bit, a 1000 credits have been deposited to your account as a signing bonus and to prepare for your relocation to Absalom Station. As you gather you things and are leaving the android receptionist hands you a folder, and says, "Further details will be sent via comm message. Thank you for visiting the ABADARCORP testing facility, Today – Tomorrow – Eternity. ABADARCORP." Inside it is standard marketing material for ABADARCORP, Absalom Station, and a printed ticket for the Okimoro shuttle, dated for 1 week from today.

Between Act 1 and Act 2 of Book 1 is a really good place to insert SFS 1-01 The Commencement. I did it in my game and I recommend it. It really helps flesh out the PC's becoming Starfinders and makes it seem less "You're starfinders now, this has no actual effect or bonus or bearing on anything."

I did find a good spot just after the beginning of AP2, for the Commencement to fit. I'll look at your suggestion though. Good to hear it flowed well in your campaign, we aren't starting ours for at least a month or more, so I have a lot of prep time.

I can't figure out where to put 'Into the Unknown' and 'Claim to Salvation'. Into the unknown actually takes place before the scoured stars. Maybe a VR Training session? and then Claim in the middle of AP2 somewhere (it's Tier 3-4)

Starfinder Superscriber

Been reading through a little bit. Has anyone figured out a good narrative way to be able to play both the adventure path and the starfinder society missions at the same time. (obviously different sessions, but concurrently)

They seem pretty separate as in setup resolution and and I just can't think of a good way to tie the two in.
