But that would also mean my ability to look like a 4 ft tall shadow won't work either, I think.

"Will it increase the distance I can see in the dark if I can already see in the dark?" Veilwar asks Valsin. He then turns to the rest of the group and asks "I can pick up a wand of inflict moderate wounds and a few others (command and disrupt undead, cure light wounds, entangle, scorching ray, and web)but I would be unable to use it without waving it around blindly. Would someone be able to use it if I pick it up? Which of those do you think would come most in handy?"
I would lend the wand to the PC that would be able to use it and get it back at the end of the adventure.

Veilwar can be healed the same way everyone else gets healed. Once a day, I can choose to have positive and negative energies effect him as an undead.

A small gaunt creature, almost pixielike of stature, enters the room. He wears a cloak with a hood over his head. He pulls the hood back to reveal that his skin is mostly the color of deep shadow, with swirls in his skin that have been bleached into it, as well as dots and other geometric designs. With a shy smile at everyone he says "My name is Veilwar. I can handle the sneaking around for our group."
