OK, I don't mind about the prisoners. I'll assume that Tulgram traded "his" prisoner for some services like removing infernal symbols from armor. Although the main reason that it can overcomplicate the game now is, of course.

But about the stasis pods... Anyway, we'll have one available soon. It will either become free immediately before departure, or after a strong embrace from Tulgram a little later.

Before departure-0

Tulgram glances at Amhesha, clearly enjoying the show she's put on. Obviously, this doesn't bother him at all, but rather amuses him-especially the glances she casts at his armor.

Before departure-1

The Crucible? It sounds very homey. There's something native about it. Tulgram is grinning. Our mission, colleagues, has long gone beyond the limits of scientific work and a reasonable method of understanding the universe. Well. And that's nice! Time to have some fun. Who knows what treasures are waiting for us there?

The duergar says these words, clad in a new heavy armor that fits perfectly to his corpulent but broad-shouldered figure. There is something particularly dark about the spikes and sharp corners, and it seems that some runes were engraved on the chest, probably vile, but someone tried to carefully remove them with the help of grinding.

Before departure-2
(> You still can, if you wish, try to talk them into staying behind in Kahlannal)

No chance, Vessu. Over my dead body. It wasn't that efreeti who made you a traitor, but your own meanness and cowardice. Tulgram pokes him in the chest with his finger. I'm not going to threaten you, man, it's not a threat, it's a direct promise. If you try to fly with us, I'll kill you with my own hands. Tulgram's face is very calm, and his voice sounds exactly as it would if he were going to undergo surgery and was informing the patient about planned actions and possible risks.

NOW

Tulgram's eyes light up. He leans over to the microphone in the control room and presses a button. Uzmat! If it is safe for you and for our ship, we would be happy to invite you to visit us! Releasing the button, he tells you, a new form of life!. The xenobiologist's eyes shine with an unhealthy gleam. He didn't seem to pay any attention to any "Rikard".

GM, do I understand correctly that we are not literally buying goods, but finding something from local products with "suitable parameters from the rule books"? I mean, if an item is described as related to a particular subculture of the Pact Worlds, then here we find another item with similar parameters, but without reference to that culture, since there were no contacts before us. Right?

To put it bluntly, I'm looking at the Hellknight armor, since I don't have enough money for another almost similar one. But I assume that this will not be literally hellknight's armor (they did not happen here), but simply "gloomy armor with infernal motives", but such that later the hellknights would have no complaints after my return (when Zharis puts the video online).

First of all, thank you very much to Zharis for taking responsibility and resolving the issue with curses!

The second is whether we will have any money from the sale of items and whether we can combine this money with the reward from anassanoi and so on. It depends on what kind of armor I can buy (yes, I'm going to spend all the money on armor).

Third, I will drop my current armor for sale into the "common cauldron" - Lashunta Tempweave, advanced.

1) I have something to say on this topic. It seems to me that we should first remove the curses by spending money from the "common share", and then distribute the rest. This is a general problem, not a private one. You don't want two of your allies to be so ineffective.

2) Zharis, please remind me, does Tulgram owe you money? It seems like something like that happened a hundred years ago.

3) As for shopping, I seriously plan to spend all the money on heavy armor (this is a first-level feat for my character!) - Defiance Series, Specialist. Provided, of course, that there is enough money after trying to remove the curse / returning the debt.

Hello everyone, folks!

It's been a long time, guys, more than two months. I apologize for such a disappearance. I've always said that this can't happen to me. And every time I've said "never" in my life, life itself "taps me on the nose" and shows me that "never say never».

Some optional details for those who are interested:

Roughly speaking, there were two emotionally difficult moments in my life that happened at the same time. One is breaking off the engagement and canceling the wedding (on my initiative). The other is the sale of my parents' house, the place where I grew up. The place where I remember my parents alive and young, and whose walls still bore the marks of my childhood vandalism. The second was a long and difficult process. Take the parent library to the warehouse, sort out the mother's things and give something to charity, then find a buyer and prepare a bunch of all sorts of documents, and so on and so on… Well, the first one added fuel to the fire, and so I emotionally burned out and shut down for a couple of months, and I had to put a lot of important areas in my life on pause. Including the PbP. I just didn't have the strength to do anything else, the internal processes consumed all the energy. However, meditation and psychotherapy work wonders, and now I'm back in the ranks.

So. If my slot is not occupied yet, I would discuss with you the possibility of my return. There is a serious nuance here. I can play with you for two weeks, and then I'm going away for a month on a retreat, yoga and meditation, and I'll be there completely without communication. After that, I would join the game again (I think I've already left like this a couple of times during this campaign, it just used to be for 2 weeks). And here, of course, the question is whether you need a player who first disappeared for 2.5 months, then appeared for two weeks and disappeared again for a month. The answer "no" would be pretty fair. But if the answer is "yes", then I'm ready to come back. I love this story and I would be sorry not to know how it ends (no matter how many years it takes). I plan to stay in just two campaigns for now, including this one, which I've been playing for several years, and finish all the other PbP games until I'm sure that everything in my life has improved enough to withstand the previous PbP load.

Well...
Anyway, I'm glad to post here again .)

It's a lot o' effort ta talk ta a freak. Although on tha other hand, i've always liked them, they're useful. When ye have "recruited" slaves, it be better ta put an overseer from their own race. These will be tha most frostbitten scoundrels, ye can only marvel at their damn cruelty. Tulgram gives a gap-toothed, unpleasant smile as he looks at the collaborator.

Tulgram didn't have any sympathy for Vessu, and he still doesn't. The bastard was negotiating with terrorists and wanted to buy his brother's life at the cost of our lives, so everything is fair now: we are alive, but his brother is not. However, the duergar will not say this out loud, only his heavy gaze directed at Vessu will be quite eloquent.

Tulgram nods at the words of Xylian and Zharis. Now we're talking about something serious at last!

And of course he will check the body! With his skill and the advanced medical laboratory that is always with him, or rather in him, it will be fast.

If this does not disrupt the plan, Tulgram will accompany Zharis. He's got the most use in close combat, but he doesn't have Theo's running speed. So... not to say that this pleases the middle-aged duergar, but it's better for him to be closer to the mess.

Tulgram nods, having filmed this confession. For what purposes he needs it, he does not explain. Then he returns to the squad and clarifies what the final plan is. The burly duergar agrees to almost anything, as long as he doesn't have to pose as a solarian player in some strange alien game.

GM Jhaeman, I don't have such an item in my inventory and I'm not sure if it's in the game system at all, but based on the sedatives I have, I want to do something so deadly that the captured efreeti goes into a vegetable-on-legs state for a few hours (rather than an active participant). I have everything I need for such crafting with me. May I do something like that? (I mean, such substances are not a problem even in our world, not to mention the world of the distant cosmic future)

Not bad... Tulgram shakes his head, feeling a strange noise in it. The mushroom biocomputer in his brain reports on the penetration of hostile foreign bodies that disrupt the effective functioning of the central nervous system. There is critically little time left. Tulgram turns his capture pole 180 degrees and makes a sharp injection with a syringe on pole's collar into his leg. Then the duergar crunches his neck like a wrestler before entering the mat, and looks very badly at the devil from under his brows. He turns the weapon back towards the foe and takes a firm step forward.

Neurochemistry Booster [6 rounds]: You bolster the chemistry of a creature’s brain (or other cognitive system), allowing it to ignore the effects of the confused and staggered conditions for the booster’s duration. While the creature is ignoring these effects, the duration of the condition elapses as normal.

Will saves for this 6 rounds:

W 1: 1d20 + 9 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 9 + 2 = 31 ...and it will end on the very next round! By the way, I was wondering whether to beat the devil or stab myself. Hitting with nat 20 could be nice too!

SUM: Standard action to boost myself and then guarded step. The devil's spell will end at the beginning of my next round.
UPD: Tagline - done! There were mostly scratches before this turn.
