Hey guys, wanted to offer all my apologies, but I will be bowing out of the game at this point, and allow you to recruit accordingly. I have been casting a very scrutinizing eye over all the games I am in, and this one unfortunately did not make the cut...
I think we had a good cast of characters and GM ring of Gold is a good DM in my book. However... The pace does not work for me - I think we have unfortunately been stumbling along with a posting pace which I find is extremely low to keep the story flow moving, in a way that will motivate me.
The sparse posting also creates (in me) a bit of a disjointed feel. The posts feel like mostly unconnected, separate snapshots instead of a narrative, and I feel a lot of story elements and interactions are lost. Mainly in a game of shadows, layers and connections (hidden and otherwise) like Vampire is.
So thank you again for the invitation - I wish you all good luck with the continuation of the adventure, and hope we get other chances to play.

"I'm sure you have some fight in you" - Triel laughed at Craig, then moving also to the side, she shouted at whomever was inside - "We have no quarrel here! We only want to take a look around at the behest of our.... Employer. Can we make this civil?!"
Benjamin posts only very sparsely, so I don't think the game can move forward with just me and Craig. Or if it is that kind of game.
Maybe it would be good to get at least one or two more, to make things more dynamic. Because I think we need it.
I am VERY rusty as far as WoD combat goes, but:
Drawing both her Desert Eagles, Triel winked at Craig - "Just say when"
Not sure what kind of armor would make sense we could have, but Triel has a leather jacket and that is about it :P
So only Triel and Craig then at the door... Ok.
Could we have a headcount? I would like to make the game move forward, but Triel is not stupid. Benjamin is not there, and I have not seen any other posts apart from me or Craig since the 22nd October. I guess my question is, how many of us are here (and in the game)?

Triel peers through the glass first, then checks if the doors are open by any chance.
"Ok, let me have a look at this..." - Triel rubs her hands.
Locked Door DC7: 3d10 ⇒ (9, 9, 3) = 21
Triel actually wants to grab the erased tapes also ;)
"That's done - time to get up to the penthouse and take a looksee" - she smiles at the others - "There was an elevator right? I say we send the elevator up, but use the stairs, just in case" - she suggests.
Int + Security?: 3d10 ⇒ (9, 8, 7) = 24
Triel checks the equipment, intent on removing all recordings of their presence.
And what do we find downstairs? :)
"Good boy" - Triel winked at the guard and gagged them, then joined the others.
"Down a floor, in front of the bathrooms - let's go"
"Do you know where the surveillance tapes are kept?" - she growls while tying up the guard.
People, just to let you all know I am traveling from tonight until Saturday for a small vacation. Should have access to wifi and whatnot, but probably not much time to post. So if you need to press on, feel free to bot me.

Triel grabs the keys, and throws them to Kaydee, then moves to restrain the conscious guard - "Just behave, and everything will be fine - we have nothing against you"
Triel wants to move him out of view of the cameras, disarm, restrain and gag him.
"Do we know where these images are being recorded? We will need those tapes" - she adds to her companions.
So... What was the effect of the punch? :D

Damage (Str+Pot): 4 = 4
No roll for damage, right?
”Ok, enough of this” - Triel passes right by the guard that keeps staring at her, and just throws a haymaker at the second one, trying to take him out - ”We are just wasting time” - she growls.
My memory eludes me on this one GM Ring of Gold - any cheat sheet you can point me to, for the attack? What to roll to hit, damage, and such? Triel is just trying to knock him out. Thanks!

Kent, I think GM Ring of Gold had already waived your hunt, and you were already with us. right? Otherwise Triel would have already asked her 'fan' to let you in :D
Triel looks at the others, nodding them to act now, since between herself and Ben, they seem to have the guards distracted.
Waiting on Ben to do his thing.
GM Ring of Gold, what exits are there from this area? Trying to understand if we can make way to an elevator area, or stairs or something along those lines. Also trying to understand if there are dead angles on those VCR cameras, etc.

Triel steps inside with that ever present confident smile, casually looking around.

"Rick Mattox" - Triel replies, after hearing what Craig has to say - "We go way back, and he told me I could crash at his place. Even gave me a spare key" - she flips the key to her own apartment - "But I arrived in town early, have been calling him, and nothing. So... Me and my associates are a bit lost out here. Any chance of you allowing us in to wait?"

”You know what? Let me” - Triel shakes loose her dark hair, and pulls the zipper of her top just slightly further down. There is a clear glint of excitement in her eyes as she checks her weapons - ”Just in case” - the woman smiles and winks at the others, then moves ahead and just tries to open the main door and stroll in.
If they open:
”Evening gents. We are tasked with investigating the recent events which took place in the penthouse. What would take two strapping boys like yourselves to grant us access?” - she leaned purposefully on he counter.
Her main objective right now is to understand if they are kine or kindred, or ghouls, or...
"Solid" - the woman nodded - "How do you want to do this? Lead the way, and we follow like we are the strong, silent type?" - she grinned.
"So... Who is good at negotiations? I get a feeling those goons will not want to let us in" - Triel smiled and asked from behind the wheel.
"We will meet you there then" - Triel nodded to Kent as he informed them he was going to feed first, then turned to the others - "Anyone needs a ride?" - she added, making sure her weapons are in place, and leading them to her (slightly beaten up) black 1967 Chevrolet Impala.
"A bit too quiet of a party for me" - Triel nods - "Some interesting stuff going on though"
She checks her watch.
What time exactly is it GM ring of Gold?
"Does anyone know where this farm is? Where Mal and Vinny used to make haven?" - the Brujah adds to the others.

"Triel" - the Brujah nodded back at Craig and the others, as they left the company of the Princess - "Do we actually know where these attacks took place? I wouldn't mind snooping around a bit" - she adds - "The night is still young"

"Sounds good to me" - Triel nodded - "Shotgun!" - she added right after, with a smile at the others.
"Understood" - Triel nodded at the Princess, taking a look at the scroll and seal - "I guess we can start by speaking to Bill, and then check out the places where the fight occurred" - she ponders, then turns to the others - "What do you think?"
"Ok, that is out of the way" - Triel smiled at McGillivray - "Any idea what this next conversation may be about?"
Well spoken - I join you in your salute GM Ring of Gold.
"I understand" - Triel nodded - "I am in agreement - will follow the Traditions and Elysium, respect all domains earned through your hand, and adhere to the treaty of the Ring of Gold" - she reiterates.
Triel already causing a ruckus like an authentic Brujah! :D
"I do not know what the Treaty of the Ring of Gold stands for" - Triel replies without hesitation.
So... Does Triel know what the treaty of the Ring of Gold is? :D
