Feeling the gift of needed speed I strike out at the broad brimmed adversary. LS attack: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (9) + 10 = 19
Watching the blade narrowly miss on the opening strike and working it back with at her with superior speed. LS Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Male Human: Init +4 Perception +11 : Base Atk +4; CMB +5; CMD 18AC 20, touch 12, flat-footed 18 hp 45 Fort +8, Ref +3, Will +6 CL2/FTR3
I step around Rip and I wait at the side of the wall waiting the door open, holding a position of advantage should anything come walking out of the door. Sword and shield raised and at the ready.

Feeling rather foolish all stuck, I then attempt to escape from the floor. Escape Artist: 1d20 + 14 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 14 + 2 = 18 1st Round Oh for the love of Iomeade!!! Escape Artist: 1d20 + 14 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 14 + 2 = 34 2nd Round Feeling my ears burn with rage as I work to get out.
Male Human: Init +4 Perception +11 : Base Atk +4; CMB +5; CMD 18AC 20, touch 12, flat-footed 18 hp 45 Fort +8, Ref +3, Will +6 CL2/FTR3
Well looks like I am standing my ground and defending a strong point!!! I then lash out with my blade at the adjacent pirate to my front right. LS power attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9 GORY HELL As I am sure the attack will miss its mark. I then attack the stone with my large brass lined shield edge, slamming the edge down as if I were using it to clip somebody in the knees. I am assuming that this is a dual attack, but since I slamming the shield down on the ground, do I need to role a to hit role. I have the improved shield bash feat and applied the penalties to my LS attack if that makes sense. shield bash damage: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

not backing down from the Dog, I swing out again at it, putting all my power behind it, Mithral LS attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23 Mithral LS Damage: 1d8 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15

I move the short distance to be next to Rip....letting my blade swing at the large black dog. MLS attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9 Clearly trying to do too much...but at least working to alleviate some of the physical pressure on Rip.
Male Human: Init +4 Perception +11 : Base Atk +4; CMB +5; CMD 18AC 20, touch 12, flat-footed 18 hp 45 Fort +8, Ref +3, Will +6 CL2/FTR3
GM Brew, lets go with 5HP per charge at least from my wand of cure light wounds, just let me know how many charges for the NPCs and others. I will subtrtact the charges and keep the tally on my sheets.

We need to move and get what we came for.... I assess the injured man. We cannot leave him like this... While I wait for the others, I zap him with cure light wounds from my cure light wounds wand, pumping charges in him to get him back on his feet as well as myself. GM Brew: 1d8+1 per charge or just 5 per?..Seen it done both ways.

Ahhh this is FOUL.
Dang, second edition I would walk away with no damage..lol Forcing off the negative effects... I swing hard at the creature. LS attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17 19 if in flank LS Damage: 1d8 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9

I I bust into the room right behind Rip, or past him, it doesn't matter, its time to act. With my weapons free and shield up I move to a position of advantage that hopefully my friends can exploit before I then swing at the bird man. Mithral LS attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18 Mithral LS damage: 1d8 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8

After Helping Rip get back up on his feet and watching him him use a bi t of magic to make him more agile than an elven ballet dancer in tights, I prepare to enter the next room with him, suddenly becomes the #2 guy in a 4 man stack to enter the room. Well by Iomeade, can't wait to see what happens next.

Gritting my teeth I head to dry ground immediately, moving diagonally to the base of the shore and pulling myself up. Keeping my guard up, I can my surroundings and then look to see how I can aid my companions, especially if there is trouble.
Male Human: Init +4 Perception +11 : Base Atk +4; CMB +5; CMD 18AC 20, touch 12, flat-footed 18 hp 45 Fort +8, Ref +3, Will +6 CL2/FTR3
Thinking as clearly as I can... As long as where you transport us is in a place of relative safety where we can then be in a position of advantage to get out man I say Aye, do it.
Male Human: Init +4 Perception +11 : Base Atk +4; CMB +5; CMD 18AC 20, touch 12, flat-footed 18 hp 45 Fort +8, Ref +3, Will +6 CL2/FTR3
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17 V I checked and re ran the numbers with HL as a 2CL/3FTR and its +4 but thank you for asking the question unless I missed something, which is always possible.
Male Human: Init +4 Perception +11 : Base Atk +4; CMB +5; CMD 18AC 20, touch 12, flat-footed 18 hp 45 Fort +8, Ref +3, Will +6 CL2/FTR3
Ahh well excellent, umm, might I suggest we make an exit, before things get a bit...hostile? With the information gained and the ability to not only get Phelgos, but to perhaps free captured Pathfinders becomes pressing. My goodmen and ladies, I recommend that we leave and travel with haste to get Phelogos and free out enslaved comrades, ....Corvius will be sure to know what we are doing so time is something that is only in our favor for a few brief moments to stay ahead of him I fear. K-Man, I dont suppose there is anything you could do to umm, delay your old boss for a bit to give us a clean get away and break perhaps?
Male Human: Init +4 Perception +11 : Base Atk +4; CMB +5; CMD 18AC 20, touch 12, flat-footed 18 hp 45 Fort +8, Ref +3, Will +6 CL2/FTR3
I sigh disappointed at the groups decision... Mmm I think this is a fools errand, an evil genie on the loose and a pissed off crime boss to boot while a dangerous and potentially evil former member of our society runs around....what could possibly go wrong...or worse. Oh yes, one of us wishes to quit! I look around and note any potential positions of advantage I can take should/once all Hell breaks loose.
Male Human: Init +4 Perception +11 : Base Atk +4; CMB +5; CMD 18AC 20, touch 12, flat-footed 18 hp 45 Fort +8, Ref +3, Will +6 CL2/FTR3
Time is running out.....we can dither and dather all day long on the philosophical. Sometimes in life there are no good choices, only ones that are less bad. I say we get a deal that we can accept with Corvius. He is "the Devil" we know, the Efreeti we know little on and the last thing we also need is to appear to have backdoored Corvius in his own household. Such a matter would be rather messy and we would be looking over our shoulders minimally while we are here, if not for a few decades anytime we come back around here my goodmen and ladies.
Male Human: Init +4 Perception +11 : Base Atk +4; CMB +5; CMD 18AC 20, touch 12, flat-footed 18 hp 45 Fort +8, Ref +3, Will +6 CL2/FTR3
Listening to the conversation I shrug and look to Saphera and then to the Eefretti. Hmmm, well perhaps we could free our Eefretti here with a promise to aid us and to forever more support the ideals and goals of the Pathfinder society. Clearly as Pathfinders our intent is to ever spread evil upon the world. Would that be sufficient? thinking..... Otherwise may find ourselves owning a promise to Corvius...perhaps we could put such a clause in it?
