Riptide doesn't bother moving from his current location. He merely uses his abnormally long arms to reach across the hall and open the door directly across from him.
that's the door due east of door wo kitchen, or whatever it is. Might as well get some use from the buff...he still has the longspear in hand.

Would I be able to crouch down enough to see through the gap in the bottom of the door and/or through the keyhole? If so, I can use my shift ability to get to the other side and unlock it from there. Otherwise I think we're either moving on or breaking it down.

After Helping Rip get back up on his feet and watching him him use a bi t of magic to make him more agile than an elven ballet dancer in tights, I prepare to enter the next room with him, suddenly becomes the #2 guy in a 4 man stack to enter the room.

Vanzetti seems to barely feel the effects of the negative energy and draws forth dark power to heal himself.
Titus resists the energies pull and swings at the tengu, missing him.
The tengu looks at the agents suddenly surrounding him again kets forth a burst from the negative plane!

Riptide drops his longspear, takes a five-foot step into the room and then sets free the anger that rages inside him most waking hours. His eyes go bloodred, and he grows to nearly 10 feet tall, wicked claws springing from his hand.
Still, might want to catch him alive, so he'll try and bite the tengu for nonlethal damage. Then he lets his bloody nature take over.

No, I was healing Riptide - also, I believe I should be at -4, not -6 (prior to this round's incoming damage). I think saving throws happen BEFORE resistances are applied.

down 25. healed 1 with channel, 10 with first infernal healing. Will need 2 charges to finish healing--which will also take a couple minutes, time that can be spent questioning the prisoner. Riptide is okay at intimidate if we decide to go that route, but he's keeping watch until we decide if making nice is getting us the answers we want.
