Walpurgisnacht, 30th April, also called Hexennacht, or Witches Night in the Holy Roman Empire...

On Brocken Peak, the highest peak in the Harz Mountains of northern Germany, a coven of evil witches that worship Lucifer meet for their Black Sabbath, at which they have revel with the Devil and his demons and devils, engaging in orgies and vile rites of animal and human sacrifice!

Margery Jourdemayne, the Witch of Eye Next Westminster, accused of treasonous witchcraft against the King of England, but recently escaped from the Tower of London, is high priestess of this coven, and leads the wicked rituals and fornication...

Oy! Wazzat? Ye be thinking I be plottin ta hex his majesty and make him ill? I'd never do such a thing as at! And I ain't no witch, neither! Tis all lies an slanda!

Does Hisao find anything on the Witch? Other than Iommi's own doctored letter of course lol

A cloak, a ring, an amulet, several wands, scrolls, and potions, a rapier and a dagger....

Round 1 if required after Iommi goes

Huh, oh, yes, continue assassination, very good Hisao mutters and hits out again using his ki to stab, retract the blade, and stab again.

6 is acid on first and 1 is acid on second

Hisao thrusts with the speed of a viper twice more stabbing the Witch, but she is already limply falling....

How strong?

Alphonse recoils from her.

"She reeks of he stench of wickedness. I don't doubt the tales of her evil are true."

"Margaery Jourdemayne, you have committed crime against our God, country, and all its people. You must not be allowed to continue."

"May God have mercy on your soul."

[dice=Foereaper Flanking Slash]1d20+10
[dice=Damage]2d4+2d6+13

Foereaper flashes with pearly radiance as its blade carves into the witch! She howls in agony!

AAAAAGGHHHHAAA!!!

Her pale body drops to the floor....

Iommi-Tyr Magnusson, still disguised as the maid, closes the door to the basement, hopefully cutting off any sound that may escape the basement. (If I was allowed to close the door upon entering, I will instead Ready myself to throw a Bomb at the Witch of Eye as soon as she begins the gestures or sounds of a spell or hex.)

Sir Alphonse, neither she nor Bolingbroke are Chaotic Evil, please confirm that she is Evil in some way.

"Of course. If you could all please hold off until-" Alphonse manages before Paddy tries to stab her, only the timely intervention of his boot stopping a premature attack.

"Gentlemen please wait until I-" he starts again before Hisaa's blade stabs under.

Alphonse sighs.

"I really hope she's evil."

Move action Detect Evil for 3 rounds worth of info (strength of aura and all).

Between his stabbing and slashing companions, Alphonse makes out the surprised witch's form, and from it comes the certain stink of evil....

Nearly tripping over Alphonse's boot as he darts to flank, Paddy's thrust is fumbled!

4 on each hit is acid

The ninja's blade pierces deep into the Witch!

*GASP!* *WHEEEZE!!!!*

Now what is this business about a scheme to betray me?.... Hold.... Who are these strangers in Roger's house!?.... Oh!.... S&+@e!

The Lusty Fools take The Witch of Eye by surprise in the chamber with "the box".... Roll initiative for surprise round and subsequent rounds proper!

1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15

I've been hoodwinked. F$+* the lot o' ye!

Perception vs Tyr's Disguise 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22

The Witch receives the message from "the maid" without giving the servant a second glance, reads it, and slips it into her bodice....

Please excuse me for a moment, my dear Roger.... The wine is flowing through me! I will have your maid show me to the latrine....

The Witch rises, courtsies to Bolingbroke, and follows "the maid" (and invisible ninja) to her potential doom....

Sense Motive vs Iommi-Tyr's Disguise check 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

Disguised with magic to appear as close as possible to the abducted maid, Iommi-Tyr follows the ninja to the chamber where Bolingbroke entertains the Witch of Eye....

Slipping the letter to Marjorie discreetly as he refills the witch's goblet with wine from a nearby flagon, and then Bolingbroke's.... Let's have Tyr's Disguise check vs Bolingbroke's and the Witch's Sense Motive checks....

They are adorable, Roger!

The lady smiles at the departing children....

Breathing a deep sigh of relief, The Witch of Eye hastily departs, flying away on her magic broom back to England....

I beg thee for mercy, Great One! I....I live to serve Your Malevolence!

Frozen where she is on her hands and knees, head lowered to avoid looking upon the terrifying dragon, The Witch of Eye regrets, not for the first time, the choices in her life that led her down the path to this moment, and servitude to The Devil, The Antichrist, and The Beast of the Apocalypse....

Dropping to her hands and knees in supplication, Margary pleads for clemency....

In Draconic: Dying in your mighty fires would honor this wretched servant of thine, Great Beast of the Apocalypse.... But not yet, please.... That I might serve you further and better.... I.... I b-bring ill tidings, My Liege.... Our doppelgänger spy on the throne of France tells us that our ally in the catacombs beneath Notre Dame.... Pierre the Necromancer....has been murdered in his townhouse by a band of adventurers known to Paris as .... The Lusty Fools.... They also restored free will to our Graveknight Sir Grimulf, who has returned to his castle on The Rhine.... But there is also good tidings, My Liege! Daily, the whelp-King, Henry VI, grows more and more sickly in his bed, thanks to my witchcraft! He will not live to see his tenth year at the rate he weakens! Then we shall place Humphrey firmly in power in England, which places you directly in power there, forsooth, My Liege! .... Also....the Children of the Night, the Spawn of Satan, undead, lycanthropes, goblins, orcs, giants, and abominations.... All have begun to answer the call of The Antichrist and The Beast of the Apocalypse.... Soon, our ranks will swell with monsters of every vile kind, My Liege! And your brilliant creation, the chimerians, will be the storm troopers of our Army of Darkness!

Having flown on her magic broom over many leagues of land and sea, resting only for a few hours each day, Margary Jourdemayne, The Witch of Eye, arrives at the caldera of Mount Vesuvius, easy to find in the night from aloft by its great hellish red glow....

Soaring into a downward spiral toward the caldera on her flying broom, The Witch slows to alight on a ledge within the shaft of the volcano, some 90 feet below the rim of the caldera, a landing platform that links with a downward spiraling ramp that corkscrews along the inner shaft to access the network of magma-lit caverns deep within the volcano.... Wherein the greatest such cavern, coiled upon a heap of treasure on an isle of basalt at the middle of a lake of magma, lairs the ancient red dragon from Mercury, known to Europe as Conflagratius, and to its evil hosts as Wormwood, Beast of the Apocalypse....

Swallowing her terror as the great Beast of the Apocalypse comes into view, The Witch of Eye clears her throat and addresses the great Beast....

In Draconic: Oh, great and magnificent Wormwood-Conflagratius, Great Beast of the Apocalypse, and chiefest calamity of our time! I, Margary Jourdemayne, The Witch of Eye By Westminster, do humbly beseech thee for an audience that does not end with my incineration in your fatal breath, My Liege!

Meanwhile, in a secret, bonfire-lit cavern under the Duchy of Glouster, Margary Jouredemayne, the Witch of Eye Next Westminster, nibbles upon a wax effigy-doll symbolizing the young King Henry VI of England....

Do not threaten me, my Lord Bedford.... I could turn you into a newt and toss you into my cauldron quicker than you could blink an eye, sir.... So save your threats for our common enemies, for they are many, are they not?

Staring for the third straight hour into a pool deep in Sherwood Forest, The Witch of Eye finally beholds a vision of the Lusty Fools striking down Pierre the Necromancer in the townhouse in Paris....

She sighs....

Our brother in Paris has fallen.... Servants of the Christ-God....smote him down in his home in Paris.... And they have freed Sir Grimulf and the gargoyles of Notre Dame from his sway.... France is lost to us, and to Our Dark Lord Satan.... Let us curse them and bewitch them in due time, these meddlers which hath stolen victory in France from our Unholy Fellowship.... For the nonce, the wee King of England is our victim.... Daily, he shall waste away as I nibble upon yon waxen effigy.... Let us see if these meddlers can do ought about that! HAHAHAHA!!
