So I’ve been writing an AP for Vudra for a while, and am very glad that Paizo released some more information and rules for the Kashrishi. As I play, and run, 1st Edition, I’ve recreated the race for 1st Edition as an option for my players. Eventually, I will launch a second podcast for this campaign, but if you are interested I also run a Savage Tide Pathfinder 1st Edition podcast called The Hobbled Goblin Podcast.

Please enjoy this conversion and as always thoughts are welcome!

Kashrishi
10 RP(ish)
Small (0)
Speed - 25 feet
Specialized (1) +2 Con, +2 Cha, -2 Dex
Linguist (1) - Common and Kashrishi
Relentless (1)
Static Bonus Feat (2) - Empath
Static Bonus Feat (2) - Psychic Sensitivity
Glowing Horn - Your horn reacts to psychic energy by softly glowing. The horn emanates dim light in a 10-foot emanation until the start of your next turn whenever you use cast a psychic spell, use an innate psychic ability, or use a occult skill unlocked through Psychic Sensitivity.
Small but Powerful - unlike other smaller races, Kashrishi are not known for their stealthy nature. Due to this, Kashrishi do not gain the +4 Stealth bonus from their small size. Likewise, Kashrishi are stouter than other small races, and do not take a penalty to Combat Maneuvers and CMD for their size.

Shield of the Fallen
Aura Faint Necromancy; CL 5th
Slot Shield; Price 14,770 gp; Weight 20 lbs.
Description
This +1 heavy bronze shield has a flat face except for an embossed inverted V upon it. On command twice per day, the shield's wearer may use Deathwatch, as the spell except the area is a 10ft. radius emanation centred on the wearer which lasts 10 minutes. This effect ends if the shield is removed.

Additionally, if the shield's wearer dies while holding the shield, their body will be held in a state of stasis, as the spell Gentle Repose. Unlike the spell, this effect only works if the person is wearing the shield at the time of the death, and will not work if placed on an already dead body. This effect lasts until the shield is removed from the body.

Originally created on a far flung world by a civilization of warriors known only as Spartans, older versions of this shield have been found with the phrase "Come back with your shield or on it" engraved on the inner side. These shields are now highly prized among warrior families as heirlooms, passed down to progressive generations from fallen parent to child.

Construction
Requirements Craft Magic Arms and Armor, gentle repose, deathwatch; Cost 7,385 gp

Great job GW team!

Careful with throwing around the letter "G" and the letter "W" together, we don't want anyone at Paizo or Goblinworks getting slapped with a lawsuit now!

56. Where' the earth-shattering... *KABOOM*
57. What do you mean all Tieflings aren't evil incarnate... He has HORNS!
58. That's a valid point, but the way I see it... FIREBALL!!!

Yes and no.

As per RAW, it works exactly how you say.

BUT in saying that.

All other magic items like this would allow you to bump you effective sorcerer level, but never above your character level, which in this case would be level 7. So you would be functioning as a 7th level sorcerer.

It would be up to the DM to rule on this, so don't be surprised if they say you can only count as a level 7 sorcerer.

I expect they will fix this item eventually through errata.

Hi all,

So I know that magical spell tattoos work like scrolls ie disapear once used. And that they are 4 times the cost of a scroll (probably thanks to the fact they can be silently activated.

But what about a tattoo spell that would be one or more uses per day? What would the cost of this tattoo be at say level 1? I know you price them like slotless items, but is there any other discounts?

Also, do you have any magical tattoos you have used in game? Write short desciption including cost and requirements below.

Cheers,
L

As I was saying, I believe having just some suggestions from the authors of the 6 books in each AP combined into one document as to how THEY would have different events effect their campaign world as non-canon would be interesting.

All these incredible authors would have been thinking of long term repocussions of the actions heroes would take, regardless of the fact that they weren't printed. Each has an invested interest in Golarion as a setting, and I'm sure that they would love to share what they would individually do based on heroes outcomes. Almost as if:

If the heroes fail Book 1, then X happens. If they fail book 2, Y happens, etc. The reason for it all being non-canon would be because they may each have drastically different ideas. I'm more interested in their opinions of what COULD happen.

Matt Thomason, I believe you just came across an idea that Paizo could and SHOULD take up!

Even just as single "expansion" books so to speak that would add to each adventure path.

For instance: Rise of the Runelord What If? And number it Book 6.5. Inside would be a collection of ideas from those who wrote the 6 AP's about what failing certain things would do to the campaign world.
The understanding would be that these books aren't canon for Golarion, just a helpful way to assist DM's IF the worst happens and the BBEG TPK's the entire party.
Each book could also include a way to rematch the BBEG, and perhaps a new location they have built/obtained once they defeated the previous heroes.

Damn I wish this could be made!!!

While I appreciate PFS games, and did play in a few when I lived in Canberra, its not really what I'm after.

It's just a different style of game which doesn't suit my tastes, as I want a game where we can have an extended campaign, preferably an AP, as I like the roleplaying aspect a lot as well, and its very hit and miss with PFS as to who you play with.

Thanks for the heads up though mate.

Hi all,

I've played pathfinder since it started, and was looking for a group in either the North Shore or Inner West region of Sydney, Australia.

I'm very easy going, and happy to DM if I find a random selection of people who are interested in playing. Would be looking for 3-4, any age. Would meet up at a pub somewhere to get to know everyone and figure out what AP's everyone has played and go from there.

I would also be happy to join a pre-existing group if anyone is looking for players.

Cheers,

L

Ha, takes a little more then that to scare me away Jakob. Real life just got in the way of gaming for a little bit there.

I will review tonight (as I am at work now) and let everyone know.

Hi all,

I will be running a complete out-of-the-norm adventure. starting from 1st level and going til whenever. I am looking for 4 PCs to take part. No, I don't want the generic healer-fighter-caster-buff. I want background, and I want YOU to invest in your character!

What I do want you to know is that Golarion is dangerous, and YES, your character may die. It is up to you and your team whether you fight or not!

Finally, you get one character. That is it. I am trying something different here, and if you die, I'm sorry but you are out. You can follow the campaign but I may (probably will) bring another character in to replace you.

Remember, I am looking for 4 characters in the Golarion setting, and I want good backgrounds! Specifically, why your character would be in Falcon's Hollow, a small rural town in the middle of nowhere... (Please note I WILL NOT allow gunslingers, samurai, ninja, anti-paladins or evil characters. Apart from that, you give me a good character concept and reason why they are in the backwaters of Andoran and I'm all for listening).

I will be closing the "entries" on Friday the 23rd. If you have any questions, please post them below. I can't wait to hear from you all.

This is something you'll need to get your GM involved in, unless you have been given free reign to build what every you want. Realistically, a wizard should take a bodyguard type, second line fighter. Just in case something gets near you. After all, your cohort is loyal to you first, the party second.

Traci Harding - The Mystique Trilogy, or the Ancient Future Trilogy

AMAZING books

Granted! You remember that vegetables can be eaten raw. Unfortunately, eating the meet raw leaves you with salmonella.

I wish I had wings!

The Blighted Rift (BR)

Fractured Planes (FP)

Once More Into the Rift (OMIR)

The last one should possibly be said in a British accent, to further compliment Shakespeare

Granted: you spend the night trolling the Paizo Messageboards. Suddenly you realise you didn't do anything you were suppose to do tonight. Whops

I wish Chuck Norris had let the dinosaurs live

Granted: you have a large iron umbrella, with a point so large it becomes a lightning rod. Just your luck, you get struck by lightning.

I wish for a magic hat.

You just made a dinosaur egg sandwich! You are seen on EVERY channel around the world. You are then beaten to death by a group of Dinosaur Rights Activists.

I wish I could fly like superman.

You actually are already in bed, and this is all happening inside of your head... creepy that you have such a fractured mind with alternating personalities...

I wish I had a dinosaur egg.

Granted: you are duplicated into a 100 tiny versions of you. feminine charm x 1000, but no one can really see you.

I wish I worked for Paizo...

Granted: the Dragon of Angor shows up. Unfortunately, "catch up on old times" for him means he let you live so you could fill his belly more. He eats you.

I wish for a magic watch.

Granted: your garden is full of man eating plants that poop zombies.

I wish I was a shapechanger.

Corvinus Dawnchild, Tiefling Priest of Sarenrae. Reasons for extremem enjoyment?
It was my first character, and even though he had Darkvision, had an IMMENSE fear of the dark. Not a huge problem most of the time, as the humans in the party had to carry torches anyway. Also, instead of the darkness spell, the DM let me take Light as an At-Will spell, which was constantly on my spell focus (gold tip of Corvinus' tail).

It BECAME a problem when the BBEG in our RotRL game dropped a darkness spell on him. Suffice to say, Fireball when on the 4th floor of a flamable building led to ALOT of questions from local authroities, and a large bon fire for all to enjoy...

Edward? I know that name makes me shudder with disgust...

G'day guys. My friends and I finished up our Rise of the Runelord campaign last year, as I unfortunately had to move away. We all still keep in touch, and game when ever possible. I'm looking for a present for everyone the next time we catch up.

What I'm looking for is a few very specific things.

1. A character sketch for every single PC we had (a total of 7, 1 died, 2 retired)

2. A variation sketch of 4 of the PC's (a very memorable 'under cover' side plot we all loved)

3. A group shot of all 7 PC's. If this could be done in Photo Shop with the character sketch from part 1, even better. (times 5)

4. A group shot of the 4 PC's from point 2, in 'under cover' disguise. (times 5)

This was my first roleplaying group, and has bred in me a drive to play. I would greatly appreciate if anyone could help me with this, or point me in the right direction. I am willing to pay as well.

Also, I have other work I want done in this respect as well, and look forward to the community helping me make this perfect present.

Hi guys.

I'm going to be moving to Chatswood sometime in the next month, and i've been gaming for about 3 years, but reading about it for about 10. Thanks to growing up in a small town, not alot of opportunity for games.

I'm 23, and would be more then willing to run a Pathfinder campaign, as it is something I've wanted to do since picking up the Core Rules.

hopefully, someone checks this thread :p

email me at one_big_L@hotmail.com if you do
