Thanks for posting this. I've been checking this thread occasionally, but didn't know there was a new post.

Why yes there has been. See this thread on the PFS side of the house for information on what you should do.

GenCon 2017 Reporting should be complete

Still missing GenCon 2017 Starfinder demo tables.
I hate to keep posting about this, but it's been nine months since GenCon.

If you played Into the Unknown at DragonCon 2017 chances are high that your GM was Michael Payne (PFS #3377). Michael ran most of the SFS quests.

Thanks, but I was the GM for these tables.

GenCon reporting is still not complete? The convention was in August and it's now December. Is this normal? I've never had my tables take this long to show up at Paizo.com.

It's December 1st. This is still not fixed?

Thanks!

Hey, Steve - there are problems with the reporting portion of the site. The last estimate I saw last week said maybe 5 weeks before it’s fixed.

Thanks, Mark. I appreciate the update.

I was a tier one GM at GenCon and there was $80 store credit listed on the order I picked up at the convention, but it was not applied to my order at that time.

It was order 4374228 and if you add up the items, they totaled $198.71. That's what my card was charged.

So I'm wondering what happened to my store credit?

Hi folks.

My subscriptions order for September seems to be MIA. I don't see an order listed on my account and don't recall receiving an email about a September order. Just realized this today.

Also, I'm tightening my financial belt for a bit and would like to cancel all of my subscriptions plus the Starfinder logo t-shirt in my sidecart.

I would still like the replacement Starfinder Core Rulebook in my sidecart. It's a replacement for a subscription copy with a damaged binding.

Thanks.

Thanks!

I picked up two copies at GenCon and one is fine, but the other has the same binding issue that others have reported. I emailed a photo to customerservice@paizo.com.

Just got my email and downloaded the preview.

Thanks again, folks!

I'm right there with you, Reckless. I work 10-12 hour days, usually six days a week. I'll also be running Starfinder demos and have not received the NDA or rules.

Fingers crossed that it happens soon as my prep time is a bit limited due to work and home responsibilities.

When should Starfinder GMs expect the NDA and Starfinder rules? I'm scheduled to run demos in the exhibit hall and would like to start familiarizing myself with the rules.

FYI: I added the accessories subscription to my cart and purchased it again. Seems to have fixed the problem.

Of course, I might accidentally wind up with with two of everything in the accessories line when they release in August.

Hi folks.

I subscribed to the Starfinder adventure path, maps, roleplaying game and accessories. However, accessories are not showing up on my subs page nor under my handle in forum posts.

Really like the way you're doing factions for SFS!

I am concerned that re-naming Fame and Prestige from PFS to Reputation and Fame for SFS is going to be confusing for those of us who play both.

Just signed up for tier 1 and looking forward to running as much Starfinder as you've got!

Hi, folks.

I cancelled my AP subscription earlier this year, but decided I couldn't live without it and re-subbed. I received #115, the first volume of Ironfang Invasion in March, but not #116. Now, my subscription page shows #117 will ship in April with no sign of #116. Can you add #116 to my April subscription shipment and downloads?

Thanks!

Re-evaluating finances at the moment and need to cancel my subscriptions. I'm currently subscribed to the adventure path and maps lines.

I'd also like to cancel all of the items in my sidecart.

I will probably purchase APs and the new Starfinder material later as PDFs. I do wish there was a PDF-only subscription option. Regardless, you'll eventually get money from me to support Pathfinder and Starfinder. :)

Thanks.

My location doesn't have a venture officer since I only have time to run one game a month and therefore don't qualify.

Maybe my players can access this at other venues.

However, I worry that this will actually discourage players and GMs from taking part in the events I organize.

Cool. Been playing and running Pathfinder adventure paths on Roll 20 for about three and a half years now. I will gladly pay to get maps, NPCS, etc instead of making them myself. :)

Got it. Thanks!

My order shipped today, including the Curse of the Crimson Throne limited edition hardcover, but the pdf download for the new version of the adventure is not available in my downloads. The old version I purchased previously is in my downloads, but not the new version.

As an adventure path subscriber, I thought I would get the pdf download when my order of the hardcover shipped.

Below is a quote from the hardcover product page:

Quote:
Preorder Note: The Curse of the Crimson Throne Hardcover is not included in the Pathfinder Adventure Path subscription, but Pathfinder Adventure Path subscribers who preorder the book will receive a free PDF version when their subscription ships.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Have to cut back a little.

Thanks!

Played this a Gen Con. Worst experience I have ever had with PFS. We had a party of 2 level 4s, a level 2, and a level 1. GM only allowed us a Knowledge (Arcana) check to identify the cards. We all failed. So we had failed the mission almost immediately. All of the bad can be blamed on the GM on this, though a bunch of level 1s could have a hard time making DC 18 knowledge checks. Our GM just left us to run around, and gave us no hint we were wasting our time. We never knew about the Unicorn diner (or whatever it was called), and spent 2 days waiting for the enemy to show up at the play. She then kills and NPC we didn't know existed and we lose. Of course he tried to say we could have asked anyone about the cards, but we actually asked multiple times to get pointed to any harrower. I would love to give this scenario a review, but we didn't see enough of it for me to do an honest review.

Sounds like your GM made a big mistake. There are more ways than knowledge (arcana) to learn about the cards. Even if you guys failed all of the possible knowledge checks, your GM should have given you hints to get you to at least one location. NPCs could have helped you figure out what the other cards mean.

It's a fun scenario. I ran it four times at GenCon. I'm sorry you had such a horrible experience and wish you'd been at one of my tables.

Most probably - everyone should receive a boon, but still worth to clarify:

Does it mean that only one PC in a party receives that boon?

Or everyone receive it as usual?

If so, - what's the point to GM to "consider carefully" who should receive that dragonling?

I told my players they'd all get the boon, but only one PC gets to control the pseudodragon for the scenario.

I gave control during the scenario to the person who impressed the leader of the pseudodragons the most. In one case, I gave it to a teenage girl who tried to lure the creature down from the rafters with treats (her reaction was priceless and one of the highlights of my trip to GenCon). In another, I gave it to a first-time Pathfinder player who respectfully and gently returned the eggs. I never awarded it randomly.

Yep. The developer said at the panel that the AP will be a mix of underwater and land adventures. A total of about 1/3rd of the AP will be underwater. Players will be underwater for part of an adventure, then back on land, then underwater, etc.

Should be fun and reveal a lot about Azlant!

#8-01: Portent's Peril download now available. :)

Hi again.
I've decided to cancel my Pathfinder Roleplaying Game subscription. I'll just pick up the free hardcover for GM'ing at GenCon and buy the pdf of Horror Adventures later.

Thanks.

Hi folks.

I'm subscriber to the Roleplaying Game line and a GenCon volunteer. Because of my volunteer level, I will get a free copy of Horror Adventures at GenCon. What can be done to prevent me from getting two copies of the book? Should I cancel my Roleplaying Game subscription or suspend it for the month so I don't get a free copy and pay for a second?

Please let me know.

Thanks!

Yes. I'd like to know which slots I'm GMing and which I'll have free.

Hey Steve. No, that was a mistake. The cover price should be $13.99 for all the FM Classics and we will get this fixed!

I see it's already fixed. Thanks!

Yep. I just grabbed a download manager called "EasyGet Lite", free from the Mac App store, and it's working. This app only does 10 downloads at a time so you have to manually clear the downloads that have completed to download more items. No need to buy an app for Macs, just get one that's free.

Thanks, Katina! Looks like Cayden Cailean needs to learn to hold his liquor.

Hi folks.
I ordered a Cayden Cailean mini, but received a Ghoul Champion instead.

Pathfinder Battles—Rusty Dragon Inn: Cayden Cailean
    WizKids/NECA
Moved from order 3817060, placed Wed, Jan 27, 2016

Any way I could exchange the ghoul for the drunken god?

Next month - fighting for justice, freeing slaves, striking fear into evil hearts - The Talon soars into action!

Had to renew my subscription to get this.

Thanks, Diego! If the minis are ready for my order, there's no need to cancel anything or change shipping. All is good.

Thanks again for checking and letting me know. :)

A couple of things about this order.

First, it appears that two minis I've ordered are not in stock. I'd like to cancel them.

Second, my order is being sent in two shipments. Is this the cheapest method? Why not put the Adventure Path, Flip Map and Map Pack in one shipment? I prefer whichever method is cheaper.

Hi folks.

I'm cutting back hobby spending for a bit. Please cancel the following subscriptions for me:

Pathfinder Battles Miniatures
Pathfinder Campaign Setting
Pathfinder Roleplaying Game

That should leave me with active subscriptions to Adventure Paths and Maps.

Also, please cancel the following items that are currently in my sidecart:

Pathfinder Battles: Iconic Heroes Set #4
Pathfinder Battles: Iconic Heroes Set #5
Pathfinder Battles: Iconic Heroes Set #6

Thanks!
