If you decide not to VMC, then I suppose standard multiclassing is back on the table? If so, I would probably multiclass Nakoria into rogue (unchained, if possible) at level 2 to start towards arcane trickster, if it seems to make sense with the way the character is playing out. VMC won't work for that because it would take forever to get enough sneak attack dice. ![]()
Here is a link to my submission, Nakoria Merrythorn, halfling transmuter. I am still working on the details of her backstory, but the basic idea was that she grew up in Thay as a Red Wizard's slave. She recently escaped to Mulhorand and has been making her living as a street performer while she tries to make more sense of the spellbook and scrolls she managed to steal during her escape and stay one step of anybody who might try to take her back. (The scrolls are under the assumption that we can pick up regional equipment per FRCS; let me know if that assumption was wrong.) ![]()

A basic background is up now. I made a few mechanical changes too to fit with it. Once I decided that Mehji's connection with Shar was going to be figuring out where her ability to cast spells came from all of a sudden, it no longer made sense for her to have a rank in Spellcraft. I put that rank in Bluff and also chanced my favored class benefit to a skill rank, which I put in Disguise. Let me know if you need more details on the background. ![]()
Here is a link to my submission, Dargrin Greystone, dwarf cleric of Angradd. As a note, I should mention that the plan would be for him to dip one level into either fighter or ranger at level 2 so that his weapon familiarity will apply to the dwarven longaxe and the dwarven boulder helmet. From there on out, he would return to cleric. ![]()

It a personal choice basednoff the Triunes teachings you adhere too Does this apply to exotic weapons too? I am working on a dwarf alchemist/warpriest whose family sent him to study with the gnomes I am wondering if I need to take the gun chemist archetype, or can I get proficiency with firearms from the warpriest side? ![]()
Hi, I would like to submit Glark the Blacktongue, grippli sorcerer of the aberrant bloodline. I am still trying to get a handle on Greyhawk's lore in order to come up with a background, but I think the crunch is done. ![]()
Hi, Here is my submission, Erik Sarkinen. Erik is a halfling druid from a ranch outside Dulwich. I am imagining him as the fantasy equivalent of a cowboy (with his wolf animal companion substituting for a horse). ![]()

The Eberron Campaign Setting mentions that House Ghallanda employs halfling monks in some of their facilities. The house of the Mark of Hospitality having monks gave me the mental picture of somebody cartwheeling across the battlefield and hitting people over the head with various pieces of kitchen equipment. Outside of combat, Jhondar would make a decent party face. I haven't finished his background, but I think everything else for Jhondar d'Ghallanda, halfling monk (monk of the empty hand-quingong monk-underfoot adept) is in place. ![]()

Here is my proposed character, Barwyn Giantbane. I took the savage warrior archetype for the fighter side, and the other side is goliath druid. Outside of combat, he is a competent scout. During combat, at this level anyway, he provides some battlefield control with his spells and some skirmishing melee damage. At higher levels, once he has more and longer-lasting wildshapes, the plan is for him to be a pouncing dinosaur most of the day. ![]()
Hi, Here is a link to my submission, Glark the Blacktongue. He has the Historian of the Rebellion campaign trait, and his reason for being at the protest is Meeting a Contact. 20 Questions: 1. What is your character’s name?Glark the Blacktongue 2. How old is your character? 13 3. What would somebody see at first glance (i.e. height, weight, skin color, eye color, hair color, physique, race, and visible equipment)?Standing 2'3" and weighing 28 pounds, Glark is relatively lanky for a grippli, but probably does not seem so to those of human size. He has green skin, no hair, and beady, black eyes. He wears a rapier on his belt, and a backpack with his other equipment on his back. 5. Where was your character born? Where were you raised? By who? Glark grew up in a swamp near the Barrowwood. He was raised by his parents. 6. Who are your parents? Are they alive? What do they do for a living? Glark is the son of the leaders of the grippli tribe in his native swamp. His parents are alive. 7. Do you have any other family or friends? Glark has an older brother who is the designated heir. He has several friends who agree with his vision for a new form of government for their tribe. 8. What is your character’s marital status? Kids? Glark is single with no kids. 9. What is your character’s alignment? CG 10. What is your character’s moral code? Glark believes in freedom and equality for all members of society. He sincerely wants to do the right thing, but he does not at all feel bound by tradition. 11. Does your character have goals? Glark wants to reform his birth society to be more accepting of arcane magic. 12. Is your character religious? Glark's parents were both druids, and they raised him that way, but he rejected it after they rejected him because he manifested arcane talent. 14. Does your character have any personality quirks (i.e. anti-social, arrogant, optimistic, paranoid)?optimistic and naive 15. Why does your character adventure? Why would you join the rebellion? Glark adventures to show his family that he can be a good person and contribute to society despite his "disability" of arcane talent. He wants to join the rebellion to learn how rebellions tick so that he is more likely to succeed if/when he is able to go back home and try to reform his tribe. 16. How does your character view his/her role as an adventurer? It is a means to an end. 18. How does your character get along with others? He is outgoing and tries to make friends everywhere he goes. 19. Is there anything that your character hates?Prejudice 20. Is there anything that your character fears? Letting others down ![]()
Here is Dargrin, a dwarven fighter turned cleric of Torag after the village he was tasked with defending was overrun by undead. Torag teaches that enemies of one's people should receive no mercy, so he has come to Wati to fight undead. ![]()
stat 1: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 4, 3) = 12
level 2 HP: 1d6 ⇒ 2 So, the array is 10, 9, 15, 11, 12, 12. How do you feel about grippli characters? I would point out it is only 1 RP more than a kobold. ![]()
Bruwyn, Seer of Aurit is mostly complete; I leave it to you to figure out if he is complete enough. I wish I had joined the forum earlier so I could have had more time to work. ![]()
Hi, I am building a halfling Lore oracle/loremaster with the deaf curse. Does your world have sign language that I can pick up with a rank in Linguistics, or can I learn to read lips somehow? I was planning on taking Leadership and having a telepathic cohort who could pass along the conversations around me, but I don't think I can finish building the cohort before the deadline, so I am looking for other means to facilitate communicating with the party. |
