I'm going to toss out a vote for option 3. From what I've seen it makes things run the most smoothly. Option two looks to need a lot of contingencies. "I zap {x}, unless Bahram Killed that guy, then I do this."

I'm going to toss out that we let Bahram take the first set of actions in any combat. We're using his init and he benefits from acting first more than any of the rest of us. I had this realization immediately after posting my actions, so I understand this makes me a bit of a hypocrite.

As Rauve whispers, Ghirhuk looks from the clanky cleric to the clanky paladin and shrugs. He says, at a lower than conversational tone, Yes. We go to sleeping place. Find why they leave. Fix bad thing. Then kill gnolls dead.

Ghirhuk nods. You throw me. I kill goat. I cook goat by time you get there. Deal? The proposal is simply what he thinks is the best course of action, not a threat. To be sure that I'm reading the initial post about the cacti correctly. To cross we need to succeed at 3 acrobatics checks (DC unknown) and have to roll 2d20 and take the lower die, correct?

Rauve and the Camel Drivers: Rauve can tell that continuing this line of logic with the Kobold is likely to wind up with the Kobold attempting to kill his camel. Ghirhuk isn't the average cowardly kobold that Rauve might have heard of. If he were, he'd likely not be adventuring with a Paladin of Torag.
When Rauve states his belief that the fire was purposeful, Ghirhuk smacks his face with the palm of his hand. He listens to the response of the Camel drivers and almost walks off when they talk about their father. His little head perks up at the end though. Dashki? Who that?
