Bahram the rogue
What? of course your not Haleen. oh and like just woke up this morning and said gee wouldn't it be great to get killed by a wad of snot lying the floor? of course I'm not going try and get hit by one of those again
Once he got himself together, he tells Rauve Haleen is an old friend that used to always be there when I needed her back when we were groing up in the orphanage
ha looks around the place
this place seems out of place, I wonder if it is original or was converted recently
Beinir Hammerfall
"Definitely doesn't look like a temple of Sarenrae, even a splinter group. Glad you're ok Bahram. You might be right, maybe a later development. Let's see what else we've got here." Beinir helps to continue searching the area.

"Well, it may once have been a temple to Sarenrae..." Saresha clanks back onto her feet, apparently relieved that Bahram is alright. "But even her temples may be corrupted by the unrighteous." Saresha isn't a paladin of Sarenrae ... but that doesn't mean she isn't incensed that anyone would use her holy places thus. Her reddish face is stern.
Rauve Adelbero
Finding nothing else interesting in the room, Ruave falls into step behind Saresha.
Bahram the rogue
do you guys need me to check things out at the door? I have learned a few tricks in my day and I would hate to have something like that hurt your pretty features
Bahram will take 20 checking the door for traps for a 24
Rauve Adelbero
Rauve replies to Bahram in a sardonic tone, "Oh, you think I have pretty features? Well, I'll be, I am just totally speechless right now." He blinks his eyes rapidly for longer than necessary. Rauve then looks back at the laboratory rolling his eyes a sigh coming from under his breath.
What is it with good looking people?

I was talking to the lady, but if it makes you feel better I'll call you pretty also.
he then returns to the task at hand.
Rafael The Silent
Sorry about the delay, Resterday I spent the entire day fixing a broken pipe, and cleaning the mess it made.
The double door in the room is simple a wooden door, without any kind of trap, it is actually half open. Beyond it you see a wide stone corridor, littered in the floor are skeletons some still with their clothing other naked. Once you advance trough the corridor you find a series of ten-foot-wide rough-hewn passages dug in a double-cross formation. An eerie silence pervades the cool subterranean network, you have found the monastery crypt which must contain the bodies of scores—if not
hundreds—of honored worshipers of Sarenrae in shallow niches carved into the walls of the east-west passages. Many of these skeletal remains have been roughly tossed from their niches, and countless bones and skulls line the floor.

Ghirhuk knows better than to mess with Red-Hot's faith. He waits nearby, ready to blast any danger to her that might arise. If she's willing, he'll hold her sword to let her do her thing.
Rauve Adelbero
Rauve enters the room and is speechless for several moments looking at all the skeletons strewn about, "Hmmmmm, grave robbers?" Rauve asks to no one in particular. He then begins picking his way through the mess careful not to disturb any of the bodies and bones.
Perc: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13
Not seeing anything of interest Rauve returns to the laboratory and begins meditating.
Saresha
Saresha lets Snowball hold her sword, though the greatsword is comically oversized for the Kobold. She carefully rearranges what skeletons she can find, and tries to put them back into their nooks where they belong. Again, though she doesn't worship Sarenrae herself, she does feel the sacrilege to the noble dead quite keenly, and she does respect all goddesses ... particularly those that support Paladins as hers does.

"There is something strange that has happened here. Not just grave robbers. A fight. Saresha, I will help you reconsecrate this place, but let's see if we can learn what happened here. It may provide clues to Kelmarane. Or at least what happened to the monastery."

"Look here. Some of these bodies are clearly not from the monastery. It looks like a mob of villagers descended on the priests here." He looks up and sees Saresha tending to the skeletons. "Saresha. Would you bury those who destroyed the Sarenraens side by side with them? You may be inadvertently sowing evil in a holy place. Torag preaches our patience. Please, we will reconsecrate this crypt. But let us do so properly."
Rauve Adelbero
Rauve prepares Speak with animals while the group fixing up the tomb.
Saresha
Saresha listens to Beinir, acknowledging his wisdom. Hers is always somewhat lacking when she's angry about something, and nods, following his lead on where to put things. She thinks the villagers, mobbing priests or not, should be buried properly, too, but she'll save that project for later.
Rauve Adelbero
Once Rauve gets his last spell prepared he gets up and moves to help the others with the remaining bodies. "Sorry I wasn't much help with this. I was getting more prepared for our little excursion in this place."
Once everything and everyone is ready Rauve goes back upstairs and heads east down the hallway south of the library.
Rafael The Silent
I'm moving on and assuming everyone follows Rauve
The dark corridor leads you to a cloister with a series of archways lining the north wall, looking in on the monastery’s massively overgrown courtyard. The southern wall bears a bas-relief sculpture in the form of a triptych. In the first scene, a heroic-looking bearded figure takes leave of four similarly attired companions, who rise off into the heavens, leaving him to stand vigil over the large mountain in the background. The next scene depicts the bearded figure in battle with a flaming half man, half snake creature wielding a spear. The fire spirit transfixes the bearded hero with the spear, seemingly striking a killing blow. In the final scene, the hero appears twice—once on the ground with a wound in his back and once standing over this form, looking down upon it sadly.
Beinir Hammerfall
After promising Saresha to help bury the villagers properly later, Beinir joins the others upstairs. He takes great interest in the triptych sculpture, curious about the story it represents.

He moves about the courtyard a bit scanning the ground until he apparently found something.
Bahram quickly starts to dig.
Rafael The Silent
Sorry about the slowness, there is a lot going on my life now, and it will probably go on during this entire month, I think I can still manage posting once a day for weekdays but I will probably not be able to scan the net as I would like to do. And I not sure about what my posting frequency for weekends will be.
You either follow Beinir along his exploration of the cloister or go see what is Bahram doing, your choice.
Rauve Adelbero
Rauve gazes across the courtyard in his own little world for a moment looking at all the painting but not really taking them in. He doesn't break his trance until Bahram starts fervently digging at a random spot in the ground halfway into the empty space. "Hey! Watchu find over there!" Rauve limps over to Bahram in time to see him pull out a sword from the ground. "Ooh, nice find. Good eye."
Then Bahram starts doing all sorts of fancy fencing moves to an invisible opponent. Probably checking the balance of the weapon. "I didn't realize you were so handy with a sword. Where'd you learn that?"
Saresha
The grumpy Paladin has trailed along after Bahram. She looks at him a bit oddly as he starts to dig, but then is quiet and curious as he uncovers the sword. When it seems to possess him though, she startles into action, too late to knock it out of his hand. She blinks a few times, "What just happened?" She asks sharply of the rogue.

Beinir Hammerfall
Meanwhile, back in the cloister, Beinir has become consumed with looking over the carvings. He slowly makes his way through each of the ordinal directions, barely registering that Bahram and others have made their way into the courtyard, "Fascinating." he murmurs. "This Vardishal..." he goes on still failing to notice the others have moved on. I'm not familiar with the whole story, but he was some sort of genie, part of a group called the Templars of the Five Winds, was slain in a great genie war that took place in this area hundreds of years ago." He pauses to look further. "But, he came back. Either risen from the dead or more likely as a servant or saint...yes, it must have been as a saint of Sarenrae. He continued to provide guidance to the monastery for many years. Right up to whatever happened here thirty years ago. I wonder if he knows what happened. I wonder if there is some way we can reach him." Excited, he turns around to see that everyone (or most everyone at least) has vanished into the courtyard. Moving through the closest opening he looks around for everyone else and calls out. "Where did you all go? I think I've found more about the history of the monastery. Perhaps even a way for us to figure out what happened here thirty years ago!"
Bahram the rogue
Bahram looks to Beinir What did you say?

"Yes, indeed those are bird eggs. Eggs of a Geier, large birds, obviously..." Rauve waves a hand at the large eggs. "Though I do have to wonder where the mother is off to. Probably gathering food. I'll wait around a bit and have a chat with her to see if we can find out what else is around here."
Survival: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 10 = 22 To know where she is and how long she has been gone, if possible.
"Where did you all go? I think I've found more about the history of the monastery. Perhaps even a way for us to figure out what happened here thirty years ago!"
Rauve calls back as he is walking north towards where he left his camel, "I'll be back in a bit, gonna go and get Farra and hopefully wait for this Geier to come back."
Rafael The Silent
Now there are just a few rooms yet left to explore in the monastery its chapel, and two rooms which you caught a glimpse off while eploring the courtyard and cloister, one seems to bea vestibule with another door in the other side, the other seems to be a shrine.
