Bahram the rogue
perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 well apparently Bahram is more interested in Almah than any old caravan wagon
It would seem that Bahram is definately interestd in what Almah has to say even if he isn't hearing anything she says.
after she leaves Bahram shakes his head trying to clear it of what he was thinking.
Right, an investigation, Where to start, maybe Almah need to be better interogated, I'll do that.. he says rubbing his hands together mischieviously.

Saresha
Saresha smiles, happy that they're friendly. Her kind of people. "Oh that's alright, I brought some, I was just seeing if anyone thought to give you some after all that hard work." She chuckles and nods.
"I'm Saresha. And the horse is Daystar, and he is a bit of an abberation." She winks at Dullen, clearly teasing, "Most horses aren't that big."
Bahram the rogue
Bahram straightens himself up looking as presentable as he can and heads to Almah's tent.
He pauses amoment lost in her beauty in the flickering candlelight inside her tent.
Excuse me, Almah? it is an honor to share your camp, I am hopeing to, ahhh speed up this investigation you could help me a bit.
Bahram gives his best smile and lays on his best charm.
diplomacy: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19
Beinir Hammerfall
At Almah and Garavel's urging, Beinir joins the rest of the group in examining the wagon. As he begins to look, an ember begins smoking heavily again, causing his eyes to tear up. He kicks it out and retreats from the smoldering remains. "Sorry, you'd think after all of these years at the forge, I could stand a little smoke."
Perception 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Satisfied that there is little to see inside the wagon, Beinir joins Saresha over by the mercenaries. "I'm Beinir. Nice to meet the lot of you. Been out here long? We were glad to catch up with you today, but certainly didn't expect excitement like this right away. Any other trouble while you've been waiting for us?"
Sn0wball
perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10
Ghirhuk moves about the camp looking for any signs of trouble. He's casting Detect Magic to track down any possible problems. He'll start at the burned wagon and move out from there.
The first person he finds that wasn't on a camel with him will face his sly questioning abilities. You. You burn wagon?
Rafael The Silent
Upon seeing you Almah nods, and say matter of factly: Take a cushion and sit, I believe the name is Bahram, no? Well what would you ask? You feel that Almah feels somehow comfortable with your presence.
Bahram the rogue
Bahram takes a seat as requested, making himself comfortable. you said you believe this fire was purposely started? tell me why do you believe this, and do you have any suspects in mind, and one is there a special man in your life
Bahram apparently tried to sneak in that last question to see what kind of response she might have. he feel pretty sure though Almah knows what he's asking, and why he is really in here.
Sn0wball
Rauve Adelbero
Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27
Rauve shakes his head as the others just glance about the burnt wagon as though they weren't even trying to investigate. He notices that no struggle took place, this could definitely mean magic was involved and someone wanted him dead, this probably wasn't some random unlucky fire. He isn't sure who he should tell. Of the people of interest, the Human definitely wasn't his first choice for telling of anything really. The Ifrit seemed like a good person to tell, she was nice enough and they have possibly a similar history with their heritage. The Dwarf also seemed like a decent person to talk to, but dwarves are dwarves and he has known a few who couldn't keep things quite for the life of them (one quite literally). And well the Kobold... well he was a Kobold, he wasn't exactly sure what to expect out of him.
After a few minutes of looking over the wagon for more clues Rauve stands up to go check on how the frightened animals are doing. As he stands he spots a figure over by one of the far wagons just looking at him suspiciously. The figure then disappears quickly. Rauve would never catch up to him in time and would probably make himself suspicious if anything. So he just decides to ignore it and bring it up to Almah and Garavel later.
There was about 10 minutes of checking out that wagon combing it over. Not sure if Snowball will be with Hadrod and Hadrah when he is over there.
Rauve sees Snowball talking to the two people that helped him earlier with the animals. He walks up towards the animals. If they acknowledge him he stops and asks, "How are the animals now?" and then properly introduces himself to the entire group.
If not, then he just walks past and starts dealing with the animals, giving them drinking water and interacting with them.

Bahram: seducing Almah is hard =D.
Rauve Adelbero
"Rauve. Short, simple sweet. And may I ask your names? We'll probably be spending quite a bit of time together in the coming weeks. And when did Lombard go missing? Can he take care of himself?" Rauve walks around the pen testing for sturdiness to make sure that any escapes won't happen again.
Beinir Hammerfall
"Thank goodness you got to the wagon right away. I'm sure your actions helped keep it from spreading much further. I am sorry for Utarchus and Kallien, but I think they will now be all right. Tell us more about this Eloah. Was he careless with fire? And, would anyone in camp have had cause to dislike him?"
Bahram the rogue
Bahram notices her reaction.
interestinghe smiles. so why the investigation then? do you acrually suspect someone or something? surely an accident would be just that and easily discovered thus eliminating the need for any investigation.
Bahram also ponders the final answer.
True enough, my question does not concern the fire, but still....you did see fit to answer, perhaps there is a soft side to you that yearns to be let out, if only for a short time. he reponds smiling his comforting smile.
Rafael The Silent
Bahram the rogue
Hmmm. I see, He did mean something to you, then I have cuased you distress in your mourning. Bahram stands and floureshes a bow.
if there was foul play I will assist in finding the culprit. and rememher my lady, you do not bear a mournful heart alone this night
Bahram takes his leave. Almah has revelaed much in what she did not say than what she did say. ond he feels renewed in his search for Haleen
Rauve Adelbero
"Ghirhuk? I assume Snowball is a nick-name they gave you? I kind of thought it was a little strange, but then again never met an allied kobold before."
Pause while Ghirhuk asks about a whistle.
"What about a favorite treat or anything? I'll send Farra out to scout around camp for him. If he escaped when the fire started I doubt he would get too far, and it isn't like there are many places to hide. Did you catch which way he ran?"
Rauve turns away to call Farra, "Farra!" The camel looks over to Rauve excitedly and trots over to him. "I need to you to go and find Lombard, okay? Find the Goat." He points to one of the other goats in the pen (and gives her Lombard's favorite treat). "That way first" Pointing whichever way they said, or what appears to be the easiest way out of camp.
Turning back to the group Rauve asks about how the wagon caught on fire, who was the dead guy and his relation in the camp with everyone, and if anyone is capable of enchantments in camp.
Rauve Adelbero
Rafael The Silent
Rauve I forgot to say: but It's near sunset you can still send Farra but not very far if you want her to be safe.
Sn0wball
Not so quietly he muses. No eat horse since meeting Red-Hot. Can always change...
He looks to whoever asked about the fire. Set? No. Who would do that? No one. That's who. Right?
Bluff: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10
Bahram the rogue
Bahram returns to the general area where everyone is
a smile on his face having just come from Almah's tent. So How goes things
Rauve Adelbero
Rauve looks at Snowball suspiciously, Sense Motive: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
but then laughs a little, "I doubt she is your taste, unless your taste is being trampled then perhaps we can work something out."
Rauve has Farra start searching upwind in a zigzag pattern, when the sun first touches the horizon he calls Farra back.
Farra Seeking: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
"As for setting the fire, it could have been one of the candles in the wagon, though I highly doubt that. There was no struggle from the man, which I believe points towards some type of magical involvement. Do you two know of anyone in camp that has enchantment capabilities? Or access to poisons?"
Rafael The Silent
The group is divided you can chose either to go towards Saresha and Beinir, or to Ghirhuk and Rauve.
I say what Farra finds or doesn't find next post
Bahram the rogue
bahram goes to find Saresha.
so find anything at all? he asks when he does find them
Sn0wball
When Rauve states his belief that the fire was purposeful, Ghirhuk smacks his face with the palm of his hand. He listens to the response of the Camel drivers and almost walks off when they talk about their father. His little head perks up at the end though.
Dashki? Who that?
Bahram the rogue
Bahram looks to Saresha, She is an interesting woman, but it would seem that, Eloah and her were rather close. I didn't press the issue much further, I do have principles after all, anyway I coudn't tell if she was speaking out of mourning or ot of genuine belief of foul play. I was hopeing that any information that you may have discovered may provide some of the missing pieces
bahram eyes the water but says nothing.
Rauve Adelbero
Rauve goes off in search of Father Zastoran to ask him a few questions.
Rauve Adelbero
hmmmm my last post didn't get fully submitted and i cant remeber what i put, but I guess that is what happens when you are using a phone while out of town. :/
when Rauve finds Zastoran he says, "excuse me father, do you know how the fire started? and perhaps why the man inside decided it would be better for his Healy to stay inside of a burning wagon? I've been told you from a few ofthese men around camp that are very adept at figuring things out."
Bluff: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20
Rafael The Silent
Saresha
Saresha nods and sweeps in a somewhat clanky bow to the mercenaries, "Thank you for sharing your water and conversation with us newcomers to your circle. I hope that we'll get to know each other better soon." It would come across as pompous, probably if it were anyone but Saresha. She manages to be a bit ostentatious, but its sort of her innate charm to be that way with a little self-aware half-grin on her face.
Then she goes to see what Snowball is doing.
Rauve Adelbero
"No, I was helping with the animals. I believe you are looking for the Dwarf, I think he was in your area before he came and helped me finish things up." Rauve shifts about, he isn't the best at interrogations and he doesn't want to make any enemies in camp since he is likely to stay with them for at least a bit longer. "So, if the fire was purposely started, who do you think would have done it?"
Sn0wball
His eyes narrow and he sniffs Dashki, Why you set fire? He circles the man and eyes him like a piece of meat, or perhaps an insect.
Bahram the rogue
Bahram goes with Saresha as they leave he whispers to her
are we any closer to discovering if there even was foul play involved in this fire? also i was interviewing Almah as part of the investigation, so no need to be jealous or anything. he says half jokingly
Saresha
Saresha laughs lightly, shaking her head at Bahram, "I'll keep my baser instincts in check, I think" She says.
But on the subject of the Caravan, she shakes her head, "Their guide here seems suspicious and obsessed with Almah, though that itself isn't proof of anything. I'm going to see what Snowball is getting up to - Ah! Hello," Saresha beams at Dashki, casting an odd look over the Kobold, wondering what he's doing.
