Hi all.
I'm about to play a sacred fist of shelyn, and I'll grab both the air blessing and the pummeling style/charge feats. Thing is I don't know how those 2 things stack together: the major air blessing gives me the ability to add my lvl to damage when I make a charge attack, while pummeling charge allows me to make a flurry of blows as part of the charge. Do I add the extra damage only on the first successful attack, or for all of them?

nature fang druid xD

I still love the shadow dancer and the dragon disciple prcs xD. I like to go 5 lvl swashbuckler and than all shadow dancer

I like the Rp aspect of it. I might suggest that after your training and initiation, instead of taking the assassin prc, you can simply retrain your inquisitor to have the sanctified slayer archetype... you have all the good things of the inquisitor, but you also gain sneak attack.

I really fail to see where the eldritch archer is better than the myrmidarch as a switch hitter.... myrmidarch by level 12 has weapon training in 2 different weapon groups, that plus gloves of dueling give a huge bonus to both bow and sword. And as I said he gets better AC. Myrmidarch is simply to be considered closer to a figher than your typical magus. (not to mention that eldritch archer doesn't have neither spell combat or spell strike for melee, as it is clearly not his focus)

I think you are really underestimating the myrmidarch archetype. The description itself tells you: it is supposed to use sword and bow together, and he can do that very well, you get a very high AC thanks to high dex and heavy armor+ armor training, and you are able to use the gloves of dueling

1 person marked this as a favorite.

arcane is cooler than divine xD
anyway the grave digger witch is a great (arcane) necromancer

as long as they don't give me a base class, or archetype like the shadow dancer, prc will never die

can a daring champion take the "ronin" order?

Hi guys, I have a simple question: since tiger claws is a single attack, if it with both dragon style and dragon ferocity, should I be able to add twice the str bonus on both the tiger claw's rolls for damage?

master of many style monk, combining dragon and tiger styles, and using always tiger claws. (tecnically you use both hands, but it is a single attack)

be an elf or half-elf druid and take the bonus natural armor as favorite class bonus. That way you can decently tank, you're a natural scout, and a great caster...
Another option is the bard....take dervish dancer archetype, with a high dex, bonus ca from battle dance, a wand of shield you're almost decent as a tank....but if you REALLY want to tank, sacrifice feats (maybe grab 2 levels in monk) and get the crane style feat chain

cavalier daring champion with the order of the blue rose is the ultimate dashing and light-hearted hero if you want a non lethal pc

nobody mentioned the myrmidarch magus? it is a pretty strong arcane archer (at first gaze I found it a bad archetype, but in reality it's solid)

simply give them skill focus as a bonus feat

You get to keep Judgment.
I think Judgement is a little bit too fiddley for a new player - losing Judgment is actually a feature in this case. Animal Focus' are also more standardised bonuses, and Hunters Tactics help her utilise her animal compainion better.

take sanctified slayer and pick animal domain xD studied target is a great bonus and easy to use

Inquisitor seem the way to go (I know the name does not seem very "hippy" but it is just the name). You can follow a god of nature, get the animal domain so you have an animal companion. Inquisitors can fight (be an elf to get the sword), they have social skills, and have very good spellcasting

p.s. try the sanctified slayer archetype: with the animal companion, landing sneak attacks should be easy

I would build a twf rogue with some talents in archery....maybe just point-blank/precise shot and deadly aim. The point would be to build something like the strider class from dragon's dogma. Maybe it is not perfect (I think it works better with a slayer but the unchained rogue can handle it), but surely it's cool, and coolness is everything.

p.s. I would grab the scout archetype if the gm approves......shoot your enemies while moving with a shortbow, then when you face a single stong opponent, and you get flanking go with dual daggers

thanks for the answers to all, I enjoy this character soooo much xD

Here we go.

Someone casts Compell Hostility on me, the big bad barbarian.

I hit my orc enemy.

My orc enemy swings at my helpful wizard buddy.

I make him attack me instead using an immediate action allowed by the spell.

The effect ends.

My friend the wizard has to cat it on me again to get another use.

ehm, no. the spell is persona, and once you use the immediate action, it doesnt end the effect

thanks a lot! I didn't know about that enchantment

I do much prefer Human to Halfling too, but that's your choice I guess.

nothing beats the opportunity of rp a badass halfling who can kill a giant barehanded

anyway, why you consider the paladin archetype superior?

one thing that really troubles me about iroran paladin is confident defense, saying I add cha do dex for the CA, so having trouble with the max dex bonus af light armors (but since this was also a problem with the canny defense ability wich they fixed, I hope to convince the dm about allowing the cha bonus as a dodge bonus)

15 point buy (I would go halfling both ways)

To answer your question, the Iroran Paladin. Just make sure to have about 15 DEX to get TWF.

dex is not a problem, since I plan to go dex heavy ignoring str

Hi all. I really love the concept of a paladin/monk so I very interested in the iroran paladin archetype and champion of irori. Thing is I find really hard to decide wich one is best, since both seems great. Pls tell me your opinions about them

p.s. I know you can take iroran paladin then take 3 levels in chevalier to gain smite evil, but that would take too long and so I don't like it

again: I really like the daring champion (I would take the order of the blue rose for the flavor). Any thoughts about a swashbukler/shadowdancer?

Hi all
I really like the idea of a swashbuckler character. When I readed the class, my first thought was to a swashbuckler/shadow dancer multiclass since I think it's a nice concept and the 2 classes fit each other. Then I readed the daring champion archetype and instantly fell in love with it, so now I'm torn beetween the 2 options. What do you think abount both of them?
