Sarvin wastes no time with anything quite so silly as torches. I mean, truly, what failed excuse of breeding does this team think they are. We really must discuss this further when next I see the boss. And with not a word, Sarvin heads for the secret exit with the rest of his colleagues.

The devil's brood wakes up, his eyes squinting tight before opening them back up. Finding his body sprawled on the floor, he stands quickly back up. "This is...disconcerting." Sarvin exclaims, although it seems this is a familiar experience for the budding alchemist. He straightens his clothes after a moment and then looks to his colleagues, seeing two crowd around the bar. "I would assume someone found an exit? Because otherwise...we'll be experiencing an odd situation here once these folks get in. My suggestion might be to....abandon ship, I think the phrase is?"

So I'm really having a rough day today, medically. Hands shaking bad and I'm more than a wee bit disoriented, so this'll probably be the post from me, for the night. I'll try to post a bit more tomorrow, despite an early work shift. Thanks for understanding.

"What is it they say, 'better to act with decisiveness and reason than to sit & let the city burn?'" Sarvin smirks. "And if we're sewing any tapestries, they damn well better explode in a giant fireball when they're given to their new owner." Sarvin grins widely, seeming to have far too much experience with the alchemical arts, especially with fire.

And I just lost my whole post...Basically, Sarvin is used to having to do with nobles and people on power trips, in the College of Mysteries. He knows it's easier to just nip certain issues in the bud. In this case, Sarvin was trying to force them to see how immature they were being and what would likely happen. Less of wanting them to fear him forever. Sarvin sighs in obvious frustration and tiredness, the glow of his eyes dissipating quickly. "It has been a rough day for all of us, it seems. I'll have to apologize, since I'm not schooled in many social graces. I simply know that we're acting like spoiled children, and we're a team, at this point, like it or not." He slips the hood back over his head, becoming silent after his outburst has made everyone uncomfortable.
Male Tiefling Expert 1/ Alchemist (grenadier) 2
Sarvin clears his throat and looks at both of them, palming one of his alchemical creations. His eyes darken at the idiocy before him. "Both of you, stand down! You're being petulant children, and if you don't stop, I will put stop both of you and we'll let our employer deal with you." Holding the item in his hand, he turns the label, so it clearly shows Sneezing Powder. "Now, stand down, both of you!" He lowers his hood to emphasize this point, his eyes glowing a bright, brimstone red, the action causing them to pulse and swirl as he stares down those there, showing that now is not the time to be sidetracked by trifling matters. Knowledge (Local): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11
Sarvin simply shrugs. "My day has proven to be less than productive, really, with my talents. It's just not proving to be a very successful day. But...on a good note, we have information. And information is the first step."

Local vs DC 10: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26 Well, how interesting...An enchanter with a lackey obsessed with finding things. Couldn't have been more iconic if he tried. Never could pin it on him, though. And likely his position gets the guards paid off in his favor. Sarvin tries to look presentable yet still keep his features somewhat covered.
Male Tiefling Expert 1/ Alchemist (grenadier) 2
Sarvin motions to Aeadon and steps to the doorway, speaking very quietly. Infernal:
"We need to be very careful. I believe your friend may be bespelled to obsession over the trash. Either that or someone has him collecting for him." He allows his companion to allow this to seep in before continuing. Infernal: "So what now is the plan?"
Male Tiefling Expert 1/ Alchemist (grenadier) 2
Too important to get fooled now. He could be another agent. There is no room for trust beyond the team and the leader. They signed in blood. This individual...nothing says I can trust him. Spending a hero point, because Morlos is quickly becoming a bit paranoid of folks outside the group. Sense Motive: 1d20 + 5 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 5 + 8 = 33
Wow! Perfect time for nat 20s

Sarvin smirks and looks to Noro. "You've never heard the phrase 'in for a pint, in for a pound,' have you?" He then turns his attention back to the leader of the barber. "I would strongly suggest you and your lackies find another place to frequent. The lady here has a bit of a reputation, and I hear that the city has not been so kind to the Barbers, in the past few days. Not a good combination for your lot right now.". He still holds the powder in his hands, as he lets his words hang, each word measured and appropriate to the situation. His eyes glow a brighter ember red briefly as he puts strong emphasis. Sarvin just grins to the rest of the group and speaks quietly. "I'll provide a distraction. We should run and get out of here before then." Once the Barbers are within range, Sarvin is gonna throw a bit of sneezing powder at the front most person. Throw at Touch AC: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17 If it hits, that person must succeed on a DC 12 Fort save to resist the effect of the powder, while those in adjacent squares must make a DC 8 Fort save. Creatures affected must make a DC 10 Fort save for the duration, or be staggered until their next turn. Duration: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

"Well, that's...not very comforting..." The tiefling strokes his stubble edged chin. "But if they don't know, then that at least tells us something good. Did they seem open to telling you things or were they reluctant?" Sarvin seems to be trying to pull this information from her, even though the look on his face suggests he's about as happy to do this as if he was pulling teeth from an angry monitor lizard.
Male Tiefling Expert 1/ Alchemist (grenadier) 2
After the bit of pre-work the tiefling tried to do (that obviously failed), he just shakes his head and rejoins everyone in the planning. "Some of us are better at observing from the shadows or more shadowy work, where we know people won't talk even if we don't do it perfectly. Now it's just a matter of who does what and when."
Male Tiefling Expert 1/ Alchemist (grenadier) 2
Sarvin spends a bit of time getting himself in what the locals on the dock wear (or at least something more appropriate to being close to the sea). He starts to try and gather bits of information by listening and just wandering a bit. Local: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10 Seeing that his listening is going nowhere, he's going to try and find someone a bit drunk. He's going to try and use the fear he is naturally talented with, to gain some information on who the big dogs in the area are and what some of the big shipments that'll be coming in. If asked why, he wants some work. Intimidate: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10

Sarvin looks around, sizing up the group and attempting to find himself some teammates. Of course, that process is more looking at the others, twiddling his thumbs, looking contemplative, and starting, then stopping, movement as people are approached to join into teams.

Sarvin looks around for additional folks causing issues before he motions to his co-conspirators and begins to drag the Bloody Barber into the building with Milax. Once they're all inside and out of sight, he whispers quietly to their defacto leader. "These Bloody Barbers really don't have any subtlety do they? Demon worshippers to boot? Yeesh."

Nimon: Since this seems an important stealth, I'm gonna spend a hero point to get that +8 bonus, bringing my total modifier to +12, I'm gonna hedge that bet. Lol Sarvin makes sure he gets properly hidden, using the tactics he saw the cat lady employing to ensure he was properly hidden. His eyes ised to the dark, the tiefling keeps his eyes and ears alert for trouble. Stealth: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (13) + 12 = 25
Male Tiefling Expert 1/ Alchemist (grenadier) 2
Sarvin takes the rope and gag, taking his time to make sure the rope and gag are secure. Taking 20 if allowed, which makes for 22. If not enough time, here's a roll. Someone might want to double check Sarvin's work. Using Rope: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18
Male Tiefling Expert 1/ Alchemist (grenadier) 2
The tiefling quickly creeps along, internally berating himself for the lack of focus and talent in sneaking. Stopping at the motion as the catfolk sees her mark, the tiefling observes and then means quickly to get into the adjacent alley without notice. Stealth: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6

Sarvin pushes a stray hair out from in front of his eye, tying it out of the way.

Sarvin does his best to restrain a whistle from escaping his lips as he admires the size of the portcullis. Strange place... Religion: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
After noticing the signs and symbols, he grins, knowing his judgment was spot on, only wish he had more time to admire the craftsmanship. Noticing the individual in the shadows, he follows, keeping several feet behind in hopes that the breakout of combat would give him the advantage.
Male Tiefling Expert 1/ Alchemist (grenadier) 2
Along his way, the tiefling tries not to make overt eye contact with those around him, just trying to seem like a student getting to view the city for the first time. And along the way, he'll use his great eyesight to try and find the mark. Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23

DM: The tiefling nods his head slowly, the short dark hair on his head just bouncing in the slight breeze coming from the street. "Absolutely will make sure of that." Sarvin responds simply, as his eyes work to catch all the subtle intricacies of the dwarf's subterfuge. Once he has gathered what he can, he bows slightly to the stocky built smith, making sure to keep his eyes to the ground for just that moment, and makes his way along the street, knowing his colleagues will be along soon. "Thanks for the directions, Master Salt-Beard and a blessed day to you!" Wow that's a rough roll! I'm spending a hero point, just to make sure! Sense Motive: 1d20 + 5 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 5 + 8 = 27 And precisely as he can, the alchemical student follows the directions, skirting the Precipice District and keeping his eyes open for what will be a quite obvious location.
