I am telling my friends and my community about Paizo's willingness to put out their customers real information. That is the true repercussion. Word of mouth reputation hits.

So, out of curiosity I went over to Amazon. Ninja Division is selling miniatures that are part of the Kick Starter. They're painted and packaged up. So, the backers have gotten the run around for YEARS now and ND is selling the same miniatures on Amazon. This is completely ridiculous. We got screwed!

I called you by your real name because I wanted to outline how serious we do take this and I don't want folks thinking they can hide behind the anonymity of the internet. All of us Paizo folks are here, no anonymity what-so-ever, and you guys have zero qualms about calling us out, so I wanted to show that we don't either.

And yes, we are taking this seriously, as you can tell because Paizo's President is personally handling this thread. I have a ton of things that occupy my time and I'm choosing to spend some of it here communicating with you guys because this is important.

Really? The president of Paizo just doxxed one of their customers for calling them out on something that is completely true? That is appalling. I was upset at Paizo because they vouched for ND and that clearly meant nothing. Now the president of the company is acting like a petulant child and posting one of their customer's personal information on the forums. Congratulations. Paizo will never see another dime of my money.

Yeah, I know you don't really care, but at least I'll feel better not supporting a company that acts like this.

If we don't order additional minis from Archon, when should we expect to start seeing the minis from the KS that we already paid for?

Ok, so according to the post from July 25th, Archon (not ND) will be shipping our minis every 6 months. Anyone know when the first wave is due? IF they started in July that means January.

So our options are buy a mini from Archon to get what they've made so far (which is pretty much our minis that we've paid for being held hostage until we order from Archon) or waiting 6 months for Archon to mail the minis to Ninja Division (the company that screwed us over in the first place) and hope Ninja Division has their act together enough to actually ship the minis to us? Anyone else less than confident that Ninja Division is going to follow through?

Now imagine if Paizo released information related to those investigations.

Which they might be doing and if they were working with the AGs of two different states then they wouldn't be able to tell anyone about it. It might explain the lack of information that Paizo is giving us about the situation. (one can dream I guess.)

All-in backer here. I saw that ND had some issues in the past, but I pledged based on Paizo's involvement and Paizo's assurance that this Kickstarter was on the level. I understand that Paizo is in a bad situation because of what ND did and they're most likely a victim along with the rest of us. What bothers me is that there's no word (that I've seen at least, and please correct me if I'm wrong) from Paizo saying this. Or, saying that they're working with ND or their lawyers or Archron to cut out ND and fulfill these orders. It just makes me very disappointed in Paizo and a lot less likely to order their products in the future.

Just adding my voice to the growing number of people frustrated with the way ND is dragging Paizo's name through the mud. Looking at various other posts on multiple websites about ND's other projects it looks like a ponzi scheme to me. And now, the only person who was actually talking to us at ND, Scott, has been fired. ND is refusing to answer any emails and issued a statement (which technarken linked above) basically saying "stop picking on us. It's only making it harder for us to do what we promised"? That's some grade A BS right there. This is going to end up as a class action lawsuit and I wouldn't be surprised if Paizo got named in it as well. It's just a shame. I did the All-In backing on Kickstarter based on Paizo's name being associated with it. Now ND is ruining Paizo's reputation with over 1000 people. ND won't do anything, hopefully Paizo will.

Apparently, if new reports are to be believed, all creatures in Starfinder are 3/4 size. That's one way to save on production costs I guess...

All in backer here as well. I have yet to receive a single miniature and the multiple promises of "they'll be going out soon" are getting really stale. Their last excuse was they ran out of bubble wrap. Really? Run down to Staples and buy some. Their latest update today was that all of wave 1 is packed and ready to ship next week. I'd like to believe it, but once burned and all that. I checked with my bank and Kickstarter and it's too late to request a refund, so I'm stuck as well.

The shame of it is that Paizo is a great company, but Ninja Division/Soda Pop Miniatures (wonder why they changed their name....?) is dragging Paizo's name through the mud with this.

In case you haven't figured it out this campaign went the way of the Dodo. Mainly because our GM's schedule changed, but also because of a growing distaste for the 3.5 system on the part of several players.

Yeah, torching Misgivings was my first idea also. However, we were informed that with the rains the wood was too wet to catch fire. Also, Father Aesop told us that burning the place down wouldn't necessarily cleanse the place. I was willing to give it a try, but oh well... =)

Just as a side note: we've also been listening to a group called Midnight Syndicate while we play. It's spooky instrumental music that compliments the creepier aspects of the series rather well. Basically, it's gothic ambient music, but it does the trick.
