Salvius moves closer, trying to get a better angle. He waves his wand and plucks two logs from the Bonfire besides him, making the logs levitate and propelling one of them towards the mosquito-"Ando Masaffran!"

(Casting Telekinetic Volley on two logs from the Bonfire, and using one of them to attack the giant mosquito)
Bonfire att, improvised: 1d20 + 7 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (13) + 7 + 1 - 4 = 17
Bonfire dmg for thrown wpn: 1d4 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 4 + 1 = 8

Despite not having been super active in the adventure lately, I'd just like to mention to GM Elberion that this is awesome! Very ominous and putting me at the edge of my seat.

Salvius worries as Kriegler's body convulses and shrieks. As a drop of sweat slides down his forehead, he whispers-"By the gods, what-"-as he sees the spear hover over Fendren, and expecting the worst.

He enters the cornfield, barely getting a few feet in before reaching out towards Lakadee-"I have faced corruption before, when I ventured into the Fangwood. We need to stop whatever is about to come!"-channeling protective magic over the treant."Simbarus Masta!"-concentrating on his wand and covering Lakadee in glimmering energy.

(Casting Protection from Evil on Lakadee, using my Arcane Bond to cast it despite not having it prepared today.)

Salvius stands up and smiles as Linka, thanking her-"I appreciate the kindness, friend. Allow me to provide my own."-taking out a wand and letting Linka use it to heal him.

He then says-"Best we move on. Can't give the leaders more time to escape"-hurrying onwards.

Salvius wakes up in a daze, saying-"Thank you both! It seems our friend is trying to cut and run. Here's to Professor Sprout! Can't believe the Entangle spell has been useful so many times in a day."-pointing his wand at the cornfield.

"Enreda Astandam!"-he chants as he coaxes the corn to block his path of exit whilst standing up.

(Using my last cast of Entangle, as the first one vs the compost heap was not cast. Reflex save DC 17 or be entangled. The hard terrain would not stack with the cornfield's greater hard terrain. Area of the spell is a bit unusual, but did my best to keep it to only the faceless stalker.)

(Salvius would not have Mage Armor up!)

Salvius falls unconcious as he gets stabbed twice-"Agh! Ugh!"-his frail body not being very resilient. He spits out blood and falls on the floor.

Stabilization check DC 12: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

Salvius whacks the spider as it tries to flee!
Club: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
And fails miserably.

He scurries past Ekanta, and tries to cut off the spider's means of escape. He spins his wand in a circle and coaxes the plants on the other side of the secret door to grow-"Enreda Astandam!"

(Casting Entangle to cut off the spider's means of escape. If it moves into the area, it must make a Reflex DC 17 save or be entangled. Additionally, area is considered hard terrain)

Salvius yells-"Brilliant! It seems we have it on the webs!"-conjuring up another wooden spear from the room and lobbing it at the creature.

"Maderasta!"
Splintered Spear att: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 5 + 1 = 15
Splintered Spear dmg: 1d8 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 4 + 1 = 7 piercing plus 1 bleed damage

Salvius runs into the room, backing into a corner at Sayuki's side. He readies his wand, pointing it at the giant spider. "Don't move, spider!"-readying to attack the creature on her next action.

I am so, so sorry for the continued absence! Lost track of time as I dealt with some deadlines at work and family stuff.

(Sorry for the absence! Life's been really hectic these last few days, but thankfully it's all sorted out now)

Salvius steps back behind Sayuki and thinks of something clever, noticing the compost heap is alive, but contains plant matter. He casts Entangle on the creature, trying to restrict its movements-"Enreda Astandam!"-trying to force the plant matter to coil around the heap.

(Reflex save DC 17 from the heap or be entangled! I believe this is an unorthodox use of the spell, so if Salvius recognizes it is simply not possible, he will do his usual Splintered Spear)

Salvius tries to staunch the bleeding as well, trying to remember the brief class he took at Magaambya about first aid.

Heal: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Heal: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8

But he confuses the first aid classes with his animal medicine course he took, and fails to properly align the broken bones.

Salvius, knowing Tanya is also a ranged combatant, opts to get behind Link and fire off a spell with his wand. "Werd!"-he spins it around and an ice shard flies towards the green cultist!

Touch att+PBS: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 3 + 1 = 14 vs touch AC with cover
Cold dmg: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Knowledge (arcana): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23
Salvius would recognize the magical construct and immediately think of how best to defeat it - if it's immune to any of the parties' resources.

Salvius yells as he sees Sayuki flex her bow-"Please, Sayuki! You don't have to do this! I can convince the elders! Surely an act of good faith such as this will sway their hearts! Think of the trail of bodies we would leave behind if we challenged the honest way these guys live by!"-as he squirms in his rope.

He tries his best to reassure Saul he means him no harm as he says-"Please, gimme a second, I'll try to reason with her."-looking back at Sayuki and saying-"This man is only trying to protect his daughter and his way of life. In every step he takes, he leaves behind the mark of a man that knows what must be done to protect his town. And I, in tow, travel my path of protecting those in need."-winking repeatedly throughout the whole speech.

Salvius would just let himself be led by Saul, as he snickers and says to the party-"I'll be fine, friends! What are the chances a bunch of old geezers will have the heart to sacrifice little ol' Salvy? I'll talk them out of this, and then they'll follow along with whichever path I take!"-shooing away the party and winking.

(Crap! Got Ninja'd by the Ninja. Feel free to push Salvius' comment to the end of the conversation between Sayuki and Saul!)

"Don't mention it, sir! Only doing what I think is right, I think. Sayuki makes a good point, who's to say the Gossamer King would appreciate our little switcheroo? If we want to pull this off, we might need the wisdom, moxie and character only my companions can provide. After all, we are experts in diplomacy!"-as he chafes under the rope and giggles nervously.

Salvius would gladly smile and let the blacksmith tie him up.

Bluff: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (6) - 2 = 4

Salvius walks down towards Shel, beckoning Sayuki to follow him. He smiles and says-"No need! You've done plenty of handiwork already. Allow my much more dexterous colleague."-as he presents his rope to Sayuki, winking.

As they head down the stairs, he will whisper-"We should play along, and find out who this Chenowitz Gossamer King is. They could be a dangerous conjurer, and might be behind the strange happenings in this here Ravenmoor. Perhaps behind Kyle's dissapearance. I am content to play the part of the bait, I think."-he says remaining nervous and jumpy.

Whilst Salvius might be jumping out of the frying pan and into the fire, inside his head he believes this beats trying to schmooze Shel.

Salvius, not being very religious, assumes the Gossamir King is some kind of person, and not an actual deity. As he fixes his coat and says-"Oh, dear, a sacrifice?"-he says as he grabs his head and scratches the back of it.

"Would the sacrifice need to be right now? Or do I need to go meet the Gossamer King somewhere?"

Salvius is glad the mosquito is killed, as he says-"Good idea, let's get to higher ground!"-as he pokes out from the second floor and points at the red robed figure and says-"That sickle looks dangerous! Dangerously hot! Salsarma!"-and makes the figure's sicle glow red hot.

(Move action to get to the 2nd floor, then casting Burning Disarm)

Salvius continues his offense against the stirges, as he splinters off another spear from the woodwork and lobs it at the stirge on him-"Maderasta!"

Splintered Spear att: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 5 + 1 = 11
Splintered Spear dmg: 1d8 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 4 + 1 = 6 piercing plus 1 bleed damage

He then says-"Great thinking, Sayuki! Use their masks against them! We need to take these guys in for questioning, I have a feeling they might have bigger plans than mugging me!"-hoping the stirge does not dodge his spear.

Imagine if Salvius was lvl 1 lol

Salvius screeches-"What in the!? Mosquito men?"-as his head start spinning from the Constitution damage.

Fort save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15
Fort save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14

He manages to resist the effects from the dirty sickles and sidesteps back, as he says-"I need to get these things off of me! Sorry, owners of this barn!"-and points his wand at the nearby support beam, shaving a splinter off of it and making it impale the stirge on him-"Maderasta!"

(5-foot step, standard action to Splintered Spear vs Yellow Stirge)

Splintered Spear att: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 5 + 1 = 19
Splintered Spear dmg: 1d8 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 4 + 1 = 10 piercing plus 1 bleed damage.

Salvius yells-"Ouch, ouch ouch! It's stuck to me! Let's try to give the lady some space! Akellorus!"-as his wand starts glowing with magical energy and lets out a spray of colorful lights.

Concentration check DC 17: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27

(Unsure if I did, or can include the stirge that's on my own space. Salvius will try to include it as well if possible)
(Casting a Color Spray on the orange area. DC 15 will save to negate.)

@Ekanta: Oh wow, I was not! Can I take both Spell Focus on Transmutation and the Wood school, and get a +2 to my DCs for both?

Salvius looks flustered and confused, as he says-"I-I think I knew that person. I have no idea what Sayuki would be doing here. Perhaps she wanted to wish me good luck?"-as his face becomes redder.

"So, uh...how's it going?"-trying to look away and certainly not having the courage to take the first step.

Salvius waits nervously and as he sees the figure near the ceiling, he yells-"Uh-uh, who's there!"-as he pulls out his wand and points it at the ceiling. (his normal, wooden wand!) He mutters-"Lumos."-as light start glowing from the tip.

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
Salvius' face glows red as he realizes Shel's invitation might not be for a simple conversation, what's more, he realizes she probably didn't ask him to accompany her for protection!

He starts to stammer, and trying to accomplish his most daunting task yet - to think of an appropriate answer. With cheeks flush, he stutters-"Uh...Well, you know what they teach at Magaambya! Always open to new adventures! I mean, not that I'm suggesting it will be. I think. I...I will see you here later! See you in ch-chemistry!"-as he runs off towards the rest of the group.

His face and dishelved look make him look like he has just fought a great beast.

Shel's invitation goes directly over Salvius' head, as he says-"Why of course! Ever since that incident with the pig, I have a feeling you might need protection...you know, beasts could be prowling about."-accepting her invitation.

(Apologies for the delay, it seems my schedule is a bit out of sync with the rest of the group haha)

Salvius would be unwilling to go dance with Shel, but would also be unwilling to turn her down. In the end, his awkwardness wins out and he just nods in agreement, hoping he can at least learn some info during the dance.

He scoots off from the group and joins Shel dancing, but he is a VERY bad dancer. Most of his dances are what he learnt studying various birds, and as such are very unusual. As he dances he says to Shel-"Dancing with a queen, never thought I'd say that. This will be a night to remember, I-I'm sure!"

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
Salvius can't help but blush, given his socially awkward nature as he notices Shel giving him flirty looks. With a flustered face he stammers-"I-uh...I believe Shel did the best, I think. Th-the songs were nice! Like a meadow reflected on a pristine lake?"-as he covers his face with his book, pretending to be reading some arcane notations.

Salvius is glad the catastrophe is over, but is a little bit put off by the mayor mentioning previous problems. He starts conjecturing as he whispers to the party-"What if Elias Kyle was taken by that qlippoth influence the mayor seems to not be surprised by? Would it not fit with the fact that they seem to be hiding his visit?"-he says in-between applauses and cheers.

Salvius tries his best to jump over the fence quickly and get to the action!
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
He stumbles a bit and eventually gets to see the creature, but he does not get to attack it. He yells-"Uhm, what in Gozreh's name is that?"
Know (planes): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10

Salvius continues to sprint towards the commotion!

Salvius drops his smile as he hears the commotion come from elsewhere in the village. He says-"I knew this town was rowdy but that sounds just like just a little too much screaming!"-he says as he runs towards the action.

Salvius considers his options and chooses a small trick of the mind-"Elías Estromadoyro, money lender"-providing a name close to Elias Kyle's but just not quite the same. He tries to see if Derena recognizes the semblance of the name, perhaps ringing a familiar bell.

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19

(Just in case, Salvius is purposefully mispronouncing Elias' name. Insteaed of pronouncing it Eh-lye-ass, he's pronouncing it Eh-Lee-ass)

Salvius would, knowing Derena is a local would instead say, "So tell me, does everyone participate on betting, or are there regulars? I've been searching for a man 'round these parts, with a lot of scars and a broken nose, and something tells me a fella like him would frequent betting games."-he says looking around for anyone suspicious or purposefully hiding their faces.

Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15

Salvius can't help but chuckle as he says-"Why yes, I'm a bird man of sorts. I find it fascinating how many tricks of the trade you know. I'm a bit of a newcomer, but I find this little town fascinating - pet stirges, resourceful bird-caretakers, you are certainly on the same wavelength as nature."-he says bending down to see the bird up close.

"From fellow bird enthusiast to another, what's your take on this here Ravenmoor? "-he says, his eyes narrowing in suspicion as he glances to the side.

Salvius listens the three-legged race starting, but not being very athletic, he speaks to the raven trainer. He approaches her and says-"You seem like a professional woman. Would it be possible to ask, what's the fungus you're rubbing on its chest? Well, where are my manners, my name is Salvius Delronge, a visitor to this here town."-he says bending down, trying to ignore the fact that the raven is probably kept against his will here.

Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27
Salvius tidies up his suit as best he can, and joins the party on the festival. However, his tendency to inspect nearby trees and plants soon has his suit dirty. He mentions to the party-"It's a bummer Leonard seems to be absent from the festivities, he looked like he needed a break."-he says before asking someone from the party to accompany and check the raven fights.

Whilst he particularly does not enjoy watching them, he is interested on the trainers and animal handlers and how they take care of their ravens.

Salvius joins Ekanta and Tanya and says-"Gathering from the paper, it seems the mayor may have met our Elias Kyle. Best we approach him assuming he could not like Elias - mentioning we are friends of his might make him withdraw information."-getting ready to enter the festival.

My most sincere condolences.

Salvius follows Vina into the manor and tries to get accommodated, hanging different specimens of plants and branches he carries, transforming the room into a messy study for himself. He gets a room right next to Vina, so as to reach from his window Lakadee's leaves and branches.

Salvius is glad Andretti is much more receptive to newcomers, and he says to the group-"I'm on board with scouting the festival! This festival might let us learn new things from Ravenmoor, and get us closer to our mission."-once the mayor exits the manor.

Salvius is about to speak up when Tanya describes the group, but once Sayuki lays down her improvised story, he pipes down and thinks-That's really fast thinking! Here's to hoping the gardener believes it!

Salvius notes Ekanta's absence and says-"We don't, actually. Could you point us at an inn or stable?"-he says scratching his head.

To the group, he says-"Let's go and see where this Mayor Kriegler is, perhaps they know where Elias is."
