![]() Is there any chance we'll be finishing today? :) I'm not trying to push or anything, but I know we aren't supposed to play characters in other scenarios that are currently being played in a pbp or a multi-session module, and I have a chance to play in RL today and wondered if I'd be able to play Robert or not. If not, I've got others, but it'd be nice to take him for a spin too. :) Taa, any chance you moved to Mid-Michigan area? ;) ![]()

any check for the rolled skill, but temporary bonuses such as those granted by spell effects, other than crafter’s fortune, do not contribute, as the duration over which the Day Job check is made is undefined and represents a longer amount of time than a spell’s duration would permit the bonus to remain. You may take 10 on a Day Job check, but you may not take 20 nor can you aid another. Of course, its almost always better to roll because of how the amount increases rapidly. Robert - 18811-14

![]() Unfortunately, I believe that as long as its RAW we can't as individual GMs change/disallow it even if we know it isn't right RAI. We can ask the player that since it seems an obvious abuse of the rules to tone it down/not use it, but we can't outright ban/change it at our tables. Just like the Mysterious Stranger/Pistolero guntraining loophole that existed for so long. It was technically legal RAW, but anyone with common sense knew it shouldn't be. If something is really badly screwed up RAW, make sure the VOs/Mike/John are informed about it. We do point them out and changes have been made because of it. ![]()

![]() Some good advice here. I'll also add/expand on some, it is usually a helpful bit of advice to have players start new characters when their character hits the level of the pregens. So when their characters hit level 4, suggest they start new ones before going any higher. By doing this, eventually they'll have characters for every tier and will be able to play high or low depending on who shows up/what tier is being run. Players can also play higher level pregens and apply the credit to first level characters as well. The rules for it are in the Guide. They basically get access to the items of the sub-tier they played, but their gold gets set to 500. This would allow them to 1) try out different pregens to get a feel for them if they are new to the game 2) play with the "big boys" 3) still be leveling a first level character. ![]()
![]() Masterwork items, +1 weapons/armor and first level scrolls are always available and will never show up on a chronicle.
