SO MANY CHARACTERS! SO MANY LADIES! <3
(The date says February 14 but I don't think that's correct) I like throwing everything onto the very last check of the scenario, whether it be a close or combat check. It's fun rolling 8 dice with a plus 7 when you only need a 15. ;-)
Apologies for the necromancy but I wanted to share that I was super psyched when I ran into a bane in Adv 5 of MM who said "You may play multiple armors during this encounter." I knew exactly why it was there and I was so excited (like the nerd I am). It may have said "any number of armors" I can't remember.
I just discovered that the linked images for the cards in this blog are mostly lo-resolution, in particular Mavaro's roles. Any chance they can be swapped for the more typical high resolution ones? In the meantime, you can change the url from "name_###.jpeg" to just "name.jpg" and it'll be a larger version. :)
However you're more than welcome to reveal the staff as a weapon (for Str/Melee +1d6+1) and then recharge the same staff (using Ahmotep's power) to add 1d8 to the combat check. :)
My group only has a couple of rules. 1. If we need to worry about temp-closing, go to where you can close.
I'm liking the Triggers so far. They're a good addition to the game and help tamp down the rampant awesomeness of Augury (and other scouting cards) without removing it completely. Really enjoying the balance that Mummy's Mask is evidencing so far. On my first visit to a trader, I declined an augury. I was so ashamed.

Is it possible to get the scenario cards printed from drivethru cards? If so, how? I didn't see that option. I already bought the PDF.Unfortunately, since the scenario cards contain Paizo IP which is not covered by the community use policy, we can't offer those as printable cards on drivethrucards.com. If I have time later today, I'll pull together a list of the cards that are publicly available that we made for the original non-OP scenarios, and you can feel free to shuffle those in when playing NON-OP versions of the scenarios to increase your goblification! This is so amusing to me because it's Paizo stopping Paizo from printing something. There's probably a Dilbert comic about this somewhere...

The most recent was in organized play, just prior to the rules for resurrection. The character who died was also at the family tomb with two other characters, so all three died. Only Lem limped home that day. I wasn't actually at the table, it was the one next to me. But all 3 that died, while disappointed, set up new characters and continued on with Lem (who I guess went back to town and convinced 3 RIP Raz 1.0

"Valor THIS!" Brielle screams as she shove the Banner of Valor through a demon's leg. "Try healing THIS!" she cackles while bashing an undead priest's face in with the Sacred Prism. "Huzzah!" Raz shouts from across the battlefield, astride greyish-red fluffy puppy, whose fur was white when they set out from the camp that morning. Lem groans as he leans off the side of the puppy (having just been rescued by Raz) and grabs a 2 spell (he's looking for a 4 spell at this point). The Kneecappers (Shorties?) have won the day (barely)!
Innnnteresting. Her Ranged skill is based on Dexterity now. I REALLY liked how it was her Strength before. Because then when the weapon said to add your strength die I was like "BAM! D10!" Uhhh I might have to play as Varril. Recharge to use Divine for ANY check? Even combat checks? I'm looking forward to seeing the Allies and Spells in this deck.
I came across an Augury last night and I was SO EXCITED. I threw all my blessings at it (and recharged all sorts of nonsense to make it guaranteed). Then I augured and found the villain right on top! I honestly didn't expect to win that scenario, but I did. Finally got my first power feats last night also. Weapon proficiencies for everyone! (My boyfriend has asked me to not spend money on this game (since I already have the physical one) and he rarely asks anything like that of me. Besides, it'll be fun to unlock characters and adventures by grinding. I can't believe I just said that.)
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the fact that this FREE app has UNLIMITED LIVES. I can play to my heart's content, not only five times and then have to wait 3 hours for more lives to continue playing (that would be HORRIBLE). Also, I completed an Adventure One scenario WHILE EATING BREAKFAST this morning. I CAN PLAY ONE-HANDED AND IT TAKES LIKE 10 MINUTES. THIS IS AMAZING. I got enough gold to unlock Adventure One (which I promptly purchased) and I'm swapping between Adventure 1 and the harder modes of Adventure B to earn more gold. Gotta unlock more characters. And get weapon proficiency. Holy crap does it suck not having weapon proficiency. O_o Well done all around, everyone involved!
Who doesn't like the idea of fire-lovin' Goblins on ships with guns to boot?!? Probably Eliandra. :D I've got my fingers crossed I can participate in the Open at GenCon this year.

I'm sure Raz would enjoy Puppy's Mask very much. ALL THE PUPPY MOUNTS!
She likes to walk all over the board while we're playing (mainly before we sit down, because we're getting food and not paying attention to her) and then all the location decks kinda slide all over the place when she flops onto her side. But I like when she sits in my lap. Because I get to pet her and she's SO SOFT (and teeny)! My boyfriend adopted both of his cats. The more jittery one apparently "grew up on the streets." Explains why she's so skittish, I suppose. She has taken to following me around the apartment, adding 2 to my spell recharge checks.

No unlocked characters have been hinted at in Season 2 - Season of the Runelords as yet. The "Season of the Example" sample chronicle sheet in the back of the latest rule book has "Unlocked Ranzak" as an adventure reward. But "Season of the Example" isn't real, so...
Man I miss Half Price Books (went to university in Ohio)!
Apparently my boyfriend didn't know this was a thing that was happening. I told him about it and he said I'm not allowed to spend more money on this game (lol). So I hope it won't require TOO much replaying of the base scenarios to unlock the next adventure decks. We'll find out soon I suppose! :D

I was kind of hoping for a "all of your characters who died during this Adventure Path are no longer dead" reward, but the Mythic Path is awesome too! Yes, I am typing from the beyond, since Raz died on Saturday. (RIP Raz). And it would only be characters who died during a SotR scenario, exactly. Like Raz (who died on Saturday). I miss Raz.
Oh my goodness Ranzak is so dangerous and terrifying. I feel like I'm watching a small child when we're playing with him. NO DON'T EXPLORE I HAVEN'T EXAMINED IT YET - Oh big surprise it's a henchman you can't handle. WHYYYYY did you do that Ranzak?! WHY?!

I was initially bummed when I saw it was delayed, but then I saw a comment about getting all the cards for Runelords for 50% off because of the sale that's going on right now... and that's tipped my hand. Er... purse. Wallet. I actually don't own Runelords because I started with OP. Now that the next season is Runelords, makes sense for me to get it! :D This is my favourite card/board game EVER, thank you for everything that you guys do!
Oh my goodness I've been waiting for this so I could rave about my adventures (I love being a subscriber!) Spoiler: That first scenario was TOUGH. A 40 check for just Balazar and Imrijka? And the nasty d10 may not be reduced force damage? O_o Imrijka really likes her stole though. The one that reduces "damage" dealt by a monster. :D Just normal "damage." Ahhh, beautiful.
And we ran into that Runelord guy who just lit everyone on fire because Imrijka's spells are all adventure B or 1 (Cure and Flames of the Faithful). Balazar just waved his hand at the Magic Ray (he may have used a Mythic Charge just to be safe). I absolutely hate when Balazar is taking Baphomet's 65 combat check and decides to use the frikkin' Monkey's Paw. At least he used an attack spell so he got to use mythic charges. But that was a nail biter. O_O
Calthaer was playing CD Lem and Eddie was Melindra (who was quite squishy and hung out with Lem a lot). I added my table's sessions to the website, so everyone should be up to date. Elizabeth, I don't know your e-mail so I don't know how to allow you to report (I just assume you're reporting, let me know if you're not). At least you can't tell if I'm making a dumb face or not on the Facebook page. Hah! And it's good to know my hair looks nice from the back. ^_^ Theryon, thank you for the "Premium Community Promo Cards." My boyfriend looked at one of them and went "... why would you want this as an ally? This is awful!" and I had to explain. Maybe it should have been a barrier instead?
I learned last night that I need to read cards better and stop assuming I know what they say. Imrijka's power to reveal a card with the Divine or Ranged skill to add 1d4 and the Magic trait isn't only to a combat check, it's to "a check against a monster." So I could have been adding d4s to my Wisdom or Knowledge or Perception checks. Agh. *headdesk*
I care because I got my adventure deck on the 22nd and my boyfriend and I have already run through it (we mythic charged Baphomet to death; it was great). It would have been fun to have a dinosaur in there. Now we have to wait until adventure 6 to run with the dinosaur. No matter, we'll get it in the end. We're already planning to play a home version of Season of the Righteous with class decks while we wait for adventure 6. :D
It was great meeting everyone in person! (Except for you, Elizabeth. I already knew you. But it was great meeting you the first time, too!) I had fun, and playing Raz is even more fun than I thought it would be. I actually got to use her power of discarding/burying a mount and running to the rescue! And I beat up a bunch of villains! I'm used to playing support characters so that was a bunch of fun. Let's start planning the next one! :D
However, should there ever be an official Appleslayer promo card... well then, you can just call me MyFly, coz I want five of 'em. Oh my goodness I just burst out giggling. That is such a little fluffy doggie I need it! :D
