![]() I've never played a Gestalt character, though I've read about it. My concern is that there are people out there who are looking to join games like these, but if we're playing Gestalt characters then we're filling up the player CR needs with fewer people. Just my two cents. I'm fine with Level 2. ![]()

![]() On the one hand I'm sympathetic to people who may not want to lose all of the work and time that had gone into their characters. On the other hand I imagine it would be easier to start over, rather than try to juggle all of the baggage accumulated so far. But my opinion is skewed by being the newcomer. ![]()

"You know, these stones...the damaged parts of this tower only collapsed due to deliberate damage and not age; the structure is very well made. Of course, they may just whittle us down instead." ![]()

Furthermore, they refer to you as a 'pretend king', and say that refusal to be arrested for trial is proof of human disregard of kobold law, and a rejection of kobolds ruling their own land as promised by the 'Gold scale queen'. How could we prove to your council that we did not kidnap your Queen without some sort of evidence? Pray tell, how could we prove a negative? Please show us your evidence that we are guilty of this! I say again, we are innocent of this crime! You say that you have an amulet with markings telling of your Queen's imprisonment. I beseech you, let us see it! We will find the true villains together!" That is to say, they want their council, under kobold law, to rule you innocent or guilty. This is assuming that you surrender to them. He found himself tied to a young woman's bed after a long night of...*ahem*...well, you know. Apparently the adventurous young lady enjoyed ropes. At any rate, as the sun began to rise, the two of them heard heavy footsteps coming down the hall; it was the young woman's father! Even worse, the lady dashed out her window and left Sir Hannibal tied to her bed! Desperate to free himself, Sir Hannibal thought back to his scout training when he was a boy, and remembered the many knots he had to learn. Bardic Performance (Move Action; Oratory): Inspire Competence (+3 to Skill checks).
