Clover isn't much of an engineer. She worked in a toy shop, and even then she wasn't a crafter. She knows how to make things, but not complicated machines. She doesn't really know how to shut this thing down.

But she can probably break it. She smashes it with her hammer.

"They seemed almost entirely harmless," Clover says dismissively (she expects that will go over well), "though I suppose they may still be a threat to noncombatants. The ones we fought are in no condition to assault the caravan, but there must be more of them." The poppet nods. "Very well, that does sound like it should be our next objective."

"Master Steelwheels here acted as our primary scout, and I think he did an excellent job finding an efficient route. We saw some krooths, but they gave us no trouble. There were some geysers that we weren't equipped to deal with; we had to retreat and route around. And we were ambushed by some bandits, presumably Blue Streaks. They had this letter."

Clover reviews the letter for a moment before handing it over. "I think I misinterpreted this before. I thought it meant that they were hoping to find something underhanded in our ledgers, which didn't make any sense since the ledgers are copies we are openly sharing. Perhaps they just intended to prevent the delivery, though. Though I should say this letter may well be a decoy. Our instructions were to make reaching you our priority and not to pursue the Blue Streaks more then necessary, so we've done no additional investigation as yet.

"Let's see... there were some pools of acid and some damaged machines that were rather dangerous, near where the bandits ambushed us. We smashed those up, though. The machines, not the acid. That might linger a while."

Clover looks at the others. "Am I forgetting anything?"

The Clover on the path fades from sight, but she holds up her mirror again and creates another near the next bush. Both poppets swing their warhammers down, though only one has anything to connect with.

Clover considers leaping back onto the path closer to the melee. She also considers staying near the other "plant" to try to destroy it. Why not both? That'll buy her a few seconds to decide.

She angles her mirror towards the path. Nobody is near enough to see, t she is reflected in the mirror's surface as though she was standing there. Because she is.

I don't suppose the hazards' attacks have the Concentrate or Manipulate trait? Implement's Interruption has slightly different triggers from Reactive Strike. It is triggered by Concentrate but is not triggered by ranged attacks. Well darn.

Clover realizes that the spindly things are vulnerable to a good smashing. She looks down at her warhammer. She... didn't need any magic to make this work. Oh well.

Yakuthiel might need help, but the "bushes" seem more dangerous. And she might be the best equipped to deal with them (if she can actually hit them). So...

"Rally Pathfinders! We have them outnumbered!" Unless you also count the "bushes." But that can be remedied by destroying them, which is what she sets to work doing.

Clover looks at the contraption in her mirror, studying its weaknesses for just a moment. "Time and weather turn you to dust and rust, I think." She shifts her fingers, revealing that she holds an old, rusty clock hand against the handle of the mirror. She concentrates on the symbol, and focuses its power into her hammer.

"And you brutes, I'll be doing this to you soon enough," she says warningly, as she brings the weapon down. It's not her best swing, but it is mostly inanimate, so maybe...

Clover has the Sealed Poppet feat, so at least she doesn't have a weakness to fire.

Clover isn't equipped to disable them, but she can probably help smash them. If only they were a little closer. She hurries forward and leaps. She'd intended to leap onto the log and avoid the acid for the moment, but she finds she has exceptional footing and leaps straight to the "bush" instead.

Clover holds out a few bits of scattered parchment and a cracked prayer bead, which she has cobbled together into a makeshift "scroll," which she uses to assist the healing.

She agrees with the others about leaving town. "Best to press our advantage, I think."

Oh, I don't think I mentioned... Clover has a Marshal's Aura. That's more useful when she's in Inspiring Marshal Stance, but even as a passive ability it grants +1 status to saves vs fear to herself and to allies within 15 feet.

Princess Clover is on the short side compared to most people, but for a doll she's rather astoundingly tall at around three feet (a little over if you count the crown built into her head). As she's both, it works out on average.

Made primarily of wood, with a crown poking through her curly hair that's built-in to her head, Clover is quick to assure the others that she's not under any delusion that she's actually royalty. "'Princess' is part of my full name, because I was built as a mascot. Wasn't intended to 'pop up,' but after my creator was murdered I didn't have much else to do."

She wears armor over her green dress. On her right hip is a warhammer, and tucked through her belt on the other side is an old hand mirror. Her backpack has several small pockets, and there are more pouches on her belt and bandolier.

"I'm a monster hunter. Not all Pathfinder missions are a close fit for my personal objectives, but they do often enough that I've no objection to helping out the rest of the time. I'm handy with my warhammer, and folks say I have a reassuring presence. And I'm no wizard, but I have some tricks."

She draws her mirror and angles it so that it reflects a space ten feet away. She's visible in the mirror as though she was standing there, which she is. For several seconds, she exists simultaneously in both places at once before the first one fades from sight.

That's very annoying, but less so to people who can be in two places at once. As one image of Cover disappears, she angles her mirror through the thorny growth. She can just see herself on the other side, because that's where she is.

That Clover moves through the (non-magical) flora to close with the twig creature and attempts to smash it. She seems to be the only one.

"You do have our permission," she calls out, "to simply give up and use your very clever camouflage skills to just leave."

At the start of her turn, one of the mirror images disappears. I keep the one closer to the wall.

Clover raises her mirror and does two things with it. First she directs it towards the creature that just approached her so that she can analyze it. Then she directs it behind them, so she can see herself reflected there.

Then, using any new weakness she's ascertained, she tries to crush it.

Clover's "just the thing for that," is often some unpredictable odd or end, but this time she draws a scroll.

Before fixing her gaze where Meadow pointed and revealing something else in her hand. A sliver of silver. Kind of a catch-all for supernatural creatures. Even those who aren't really weak to it, well, it's close enough if you use it right! Probably.

Clover fixes her gaze on the rat that just bit her, trying to do a better job of figuring out how to use her esoterica against it. She already knows it's weak against cold--Snowdrop proved that, if it wasn't already obvious--but how to exploit that?

Ah, of course. Clover holds up her hand to show that she's been holding a small rock. Which she found under deep snow. The rock remembers, and she invokes that memory as she strikes.

"Come on now, they're just rats. Not even rats, just ash! We're the Pathfinder Society, and this is NOTHING!" she cries, as she brings her hammer down.

She doesn't even have lungs, but the sympathetic magic that she owes her life to isn't always helpful--she chokes just like a human.

Clover draws her weapon and analyzes the closest one for signs of a weakness she can exploit. She shifts her fingers to show that she's drawn something from her pouch along with the hammer (droplets of water, perhaps?) whose power she can invoke.

"How did you all get yourselves so banged up telling stories? Honestly!"

Clover pulls a shiny white stone from her pocket, and offers to lend it around. "Or I could use my healing scroll, but I like to save those for a pinch."

If those who've taken damage haven't used all of their Investment slots, the party has taken less than 30 damage so Clover's pearly white spindle aeon stone shared around should cover it.

At the forge, Clover frowns. "I've done some metal work, but mostly for toymaking. Not weapons. I could try it, but if there's anyone more confident I can assist."

Clover is Trained in most of those skills, but not great at them and would prefer to Aid.
