So I have to sincerely apologize that I let our game fall off my radar in a big big way. I sort have had a few weeks of just...complicated crap and I didn't handle my world very well. IF its not too crazy to have me come back, cool. If I have well and truly passed the point of being worth having around I seriously understand, lol. I will do my best to read through the back log while I wait to see how you folks feel.

Woah woah woah, if you want to shoot for the cube I will totally work on something else. I just want a cube in the group, I don't have to be it, lol.

Well I mean the ET has to get INTO space first. Sadly at CR 5 its missing the ability to rocket thrust itself through the atmosphere. Hell if that isn't motivation for a monster during this sort of scenario what is? Yeah I forget the cube has no Int...hmmm... I'm still shopping around but I want to do something weird. Not a lot of opportunities like this show up. ;p

Traits: Focused Mind, Child of the Temple
Skills (Ranks 2+1*5+5=20)
Description: Black eyes and tightly braided black hair riven with silver and white, Brolma focuses with intensity on everyone and everything with equal focus. She is slow to speak and tends to be elusive in her meaning, a self perceived prerequisite to knowledge: answers do not come easy. Background: When I came to the temple I sat by the hearth and stared in the forge, captivated in a way no other child might express. I heard a song of our people sang by our true mother in the cold dust and flickering light. I came to speak with the most quiet of the brothers and sisters, came to know the stories of the less obvious or celebrated. Always Ismaea whispered of the histories past and the flames long undone. The ash is the heart of the diamond. The song the heart of our history. I sing it quietly for those who wish it and mark their skin with the spent flame so they remember where we come from. Whispers come to me of trouble. The heart of the earth, where the dark dust dwells and the light flickers and the song is most quiet. Will Ismaea call me there? The answer will surely come soon...

A son of a long line of previous operators in the British Army, Charlie aspired to be a competent soldier and an exceptional rifleman and has seen some success in his career over the last ten years. Aspiring to work over train, Charlie has chaffed at his role in Baghdad until things turned south for NATO forces. Now he relishes the opportunity to put his abilities to use in the hopes that he can keep his allies safe and his friends out of harm's way. Charlie is thoughtful, professional and confident.
Are we getting advanced rifles or modern? I'm curious about issues of loading and capacity. I will build around the assumption of "advanced" (as stated) but wanted to check in the mean time... Edit: "Fiver personal items" as in small trinket type things or can these be legitimate pieces of equipment (ie. a gunsmithing kit, for instance?)

Sorry folks things have gone pretty sideways this summer, family illness and some issues with my son have really taken center stage. I am hoping to get back on track soon so I am shooting to be back to posting next Monday. If I can't do that sustainably I will come back and figure out what's next. Apologies.

Hmm?:
1d20 - 2 ⇒ (2) - 2 = 0 WOW! The ogrekin, now seeing that running is unlikely an option turn to fight. He move in a lumbering arc and brings a spiked club down on top of Shalelu with incredible force...and then smashes the ground as Pinnochio's silent illusion wavers. The real Shalelu takes a hard tack from the combat and moves into the brush, looking as though she is taking a wide arc around the creature to cut him off if he runs again... He move 0' this round relative to you previous distances, adjust for lat rounds movement then act as you wish...

Shalelu nods in agreement at Kithian's assessment and the ranger works with the barbarian to lead to group in the direction of the noise. Some distance in the woods the group can see in a clearing the deep purple coat and bright orange/yellow streak of a sizable cat trapped in a rusting steel claw trap, wary and bristling at the noise of approaching humanoids. Shalelu holds up a hand, Firepelt.... and she stalks into the clearing waving a hand to call magic upon herself so that she may speak with animals. The cat's demeanor changes as Shalelu approaches and whispers to the creature. She moves to try to pry the cat free while gesturing to the group,He is a companion of a ranger retreating from Rannick, caught by some sort of ogrekin. He is being hunted. We need to get him free! As if to accentuate the circumstance dogs being howling and barking in the distance. the group has about 5 rounds before the dog barking would be within sight/fight distance
Fie being on PST! Well if you are still willing to consider the Artificier Rock Gnome I would love to play it. Animated and affable tinkerer who mostly uses magic to blow stuff up but loves to read dusty tomes in his down time. If, as is, it too mugh of a hassle...I don't have time to submit another idea. ;p
So...f I am playing subdued fighter/caster type in Kirth's game maybe I could go for crazy gnome in yours? Jam what do you think about the Artificer? Unearthed Arcana? Obviously its playtest so if we need to tweak I am good but I was thinking about making one as a rock gnome...
