Olyse is shell-shocked by the events at the camp. After sitting in stunned silence for half an hour, she leans over to Faerinaa, "Does that sort of thing...happen often?" A chill runs down her spine as she thinks of the sight of Sapphire grappling with the shadowy form.

Her oral report is simple enough, filling in details about the flora and fauna that have grown up among the ruins, describing the planetarium to the best of her ability, talking about the discrepancy in age between the ruins as a whole and the granaries that once served the site. She leaves the descriptions of combat to her friends.

Gee, if this is what it's like to be a Pathfinder, I'll need to get a whole lot stronger, she thinks, then stands and leaves the tent as the senior agent dismisses her to her duty.

While she's not on missions, Olyse takes her time away to continue helping her family with the farm, bringing their crops to market in towns around the isle of Kortos.

Allowing her spell to fade before she completes the ritual, Olyse lets out a small sigh. "Oh thank goodness! Glad to see everyone's still safe and well. Golly it really seems like we handled the bale before the hay, huh? Compared to that big ugly brute last night, this was simple! Good job everyone!"

Throughout the rest of the team's exploration of the ruins, Olyse continues to do her best to be helpful. She's pretty new to all this Pathfinder stuff, though, so she mostly sticks to one of the more experienced folks like Panarug or Faerinaa. In the end, she's excited to have been part of this exploration and to have met these impressive fellow agents!

I think I'm ready to move to the end.

Agree to the plan to work on the stuff outside the gate.
Also, just a quick note that I've changed up my spells and alchemical items loadout for the day now that we've run into some combat and such. One big thing to highlight is that I grabbed Magic Fang, so Vixnax, if you wanna pump those kicks up to the next level, stand close!
I'm also going to note here that Olyse will grab a few bit of rubble to use as stones for her Magic Stone spell in case it comes up in a fight.

Since she's not much help with the research the others are doing on the mural, Olyse spends the remainder of her time communing with Maizy and creating more goodberries to help heal both her own and Faerinaa's wounds.

Per GM's suggestion, i'm going to spend time refocusing 5 more times to create goodberries to help heal up a bit more. I'll take the first 2 and Faerinaa can have the rest.

Olyse shouts in alarm as her new friends fall beneath the undead cyclops's attack, "Klank! Vixnax! Oh no! Come on, Maizy, we've got to help them." The young handling woman moves up behind Panarug so she can more clearly see the fallen kobold and casts a spell to shut death's door and keep him in the land of the living.

"On my way, Kernal," Olyse shouts from the back as she hustles forward. Stepping out from behind Panarug to get a clear view of the gigantic undead, she chants and gestures toward the creature, and a sheen of slippery oil appears beneath its feet.

"Oh, we can help with that, Faerinaa, can't we, Maizy?" Olyse's little corn-leshy familiar pops up from over her shoulder and makes a few peeping noises. The little plant-being hops down into Olyse's arms, and she begins to hum a tune like a work song. A handful of Maizy's kernels begin to swell and glow, then pop off into Olyse's hand. She pops the kernel into her mouth and smiles. "Delicious!"

Paralyzed by fear of the darkness and the strange otherworldly fungi, Olyse finally shakes her head and comes to her senses. She carefully steps down the stairs and lets her former lights wink out, then recasts her Dancing Lights, bringing one into existence just in front of herself, while the other two orbs appear in a line moving up the stairs ahead.

Thanks for the clarification on that exploration activity. If possible, I'd like to sustain the spell up to the 9 minute mark, then take a few rounds off, then recast it.

Olyse follows the group, trying her best to help by providing light for them to travel by. When they eventually reach the large stone door, though, she stands back to allow the heartier members of the team to do the heavy lifting. After all, it was usually her brothers that did more of the lifting and carrying back on the farm. She was usually better with the tending and nurturing parts.

"We have supplies to last us the night, and Maizy and I can always make us more if we need it. I dunno, I kinda like the idea of getting our work done. 'Work til the sun goes down or the dinner bell rings,' as my Pa always used to say," she says with a wink toward Klank.

Before the dwarf descends into the dark below, she waves a hand and a few softly glowing orbs like large fireflies appear in the air then create a line down into the shaft so everyone can see.

Cast Dancing Lights and provide illumination down into the shaft.
As an FYI, standard practice for Olyse will be to cast Dancing Lights whenever we enter a building without natural light. She'll typically keep the lights around the party until there is a need to see farther ahead.

Olyse follows along and looks up. She pulls a small vial out of a pouch at her hip and tosses back the contents. Her pupils suddenly dilate then contract again quickly, and when they finally settle, her gaze seems sharper than ever.

A young halfling woman enters the mess tent, taking a deep sniff of the air. "Mmm, smells delicious, doesn't it Maizy? Do I smell grits?" Despite the early hour, the young woman's clothes and hands are already dusty and grass-stained, and bits of forest moss clings to the hems of her robes.

As she practically floats through the air on a current of breakfast smells, she passes by Fola Barun and a stout looking dwarf offering a rather uniquely designed...is that a crowbar? She pauses and looks at the metal. "S-sorry to interrupt," she says, "But it looks like you had some impurities in your iron. See the discoloration here? That's a telltale sign. My pa bought a plow that had the same problem. I had to do some pretty fun experiments to convince the smith that we should get some of our money back!

"Anyway, I'm Olyse, and this here is my sweet little Maizy! Say hello, Maizy!" A small, leafy creature pops up over Olyse's shoulder. At first glance, it looks like an ordinary ear of corn, but then one of the leaves peels away from the center and you see two tiny dark eyes like discolored kernels and a mouth like an irregular split. The creature makes a tiny peeping noise, then disappears again behind Olyse's shoulder.
