I suggest we take the Allied offensive, though I wouldn't be opposed to healing either! Master Filament, realizing that a well-trained solarian can be difficult to hit, attempts to lay down harrying fire to help Patterson make the shot. As the ysoki approaches, the whiteness in his fur grows in intensity. Soon, the luminosity extends to the remainder of is body, generating greater heat and light until the area around him erupts in a corona of flame.

He eventually thrusts past them, making his way to the craft doors, but not before they have sealed shut. He slams a fist futility against the ship's Hull, then collapses to his knees on the floor. When Elsabo addresses the fleet again, he lowers his head and quietly shakes it back and forth, gaining no inspiration from her words Vote for fighting on board ship.

"My--my students---" The words stumble out of the aged ysoki's mouth as he spies the lashunta and the human. Master Filament moves toward them cautiously, but optimistically. "Eolo" he says in the direction of the human (blue). When he fails to see any recognition, he turns to the lashunta. "Aphar." he pleads with the other (red), "I am pleased to see you both, but concerned that you are not responds! What foul force is affecting you?" Mysticism to identify type or effect (?): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15 Turning towards his party members, he calls out, "Those before us are Starfinders, like ourselves. They appear to be under some alien influence! We must save them! Please, do your best not to harm them!" With that, his solar begins to orbit more quickly around his head, then produce a brilliant flare that results in the ysoki being covered in armor.

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (15) + 0 = 15 Master Filament is very pleased to hear a communication from another Starfinder. If a venture-captain has survived, then Whiskan would undoubtedly do all he could to ensure the survival of those agents in his care. Still, the wizened ysoki steels his emotions when he realizes that the signal might simply be transmitting on a loop and, worse, it suggests that the Starfinders that sent it were confronted by considerable danger. "A grim warning." notes Master Filament. "Do we think it automated or a live transmission. Either way, perhaps we should send a response in order to provide some home to any that may be in need of rescue." "As for the warning itself. Gravitational forces are, indeed, quite powerful and pose a significant risk." he concedes. "However, as a solarian, I have gained some mastery over gravitional forces and honed sufficient discipline to perhaps restore some order in an instance of an anomaly." Sorry for double post.
