Lilo pulls the still fuming Hickory to her feet.

"Just make yourself ready my love.I think we are about to have some unwelcome guests." he says as he rolls up his sleeves and readies himself for a fight.

"No Landis that is not the way.." Lilo Shouts

"Quist I apologise for my friends manners he is not used to dealing with the fair folk..how might we help you?"

Lilo leaps to his feet.."All right" he cries "that's quite enough off that..a jokes a joke but that was just mean and not very funny at all..now show yourselves and I might be persuaded to be lenient.."

"We seem to be under assault by fae folk my friends.."

Lilo jumps up "We seem to be..under attack..or should I say under a prank attack."

Lilo laughs uproariously at one particular verse of Hickory's song.."I'm not sure that's even possible in reality" he says..

"Oh.." she replies.."maybe not..but finding out might be fun"

The sorcerer is glad of the darkness to hide his blushes..

"Anything is better than salt pork again." is Lilo's reply

Lilo and Hickory make notes on the jouney as they progress down the lake the young bard taking an interest in evey new bird and tree she spots.Lilo suggests that someone try fishing as he's fed up with salted rations and berries.

"How far do you think we have come today" he asks as they prepare the evening meal

"Agreed then we explore from the water first and if we find somewhere suitable to forge inland then we take that."

Lilo and Hickory have a whispered conversation during their watch so as not to waken anyone

Come breakfast Lilo announces the result of that.."We are off the opinion that the chances are higher of finding a village somewhere on the lake shore..possibly the one this canoe came from originally..if that is the case then we propose that we travel the length of the lake before making any decision as to what course of action to follow next...we can see both sides from the water so it should be easy to see any habitation."

Put Lilo and Hickory on permanent last watch..that way the halflings make breakfast an advantage for everyone

"Well the simple fact is some off us just don't walk as fast as the rest off you..mind you we couldn't take the horse with us on a canoe.."

Lilo and Hickory are ready to go immediately after breakfast.

"So what is our plan..there was a canoe or something wasn't there?"

Lilo spends the evening in contemplation walking the shore..his mind on Rorse. Looking to the south his eyes narrow..

"one day" he mutters to himself.."one day you are going to get a big surprise my fine feathered friend"

"Like Foxes and Rabbits hmm..? Aye I can see where the problems might be..but perhaps it's the crabs it likes and was only defending it's hunting grounds..I really don't know enough about animals to make any sort of judgement."

"Like he said,there's a bird out there the size of a house..I'd say that was a..'clear and present danger' we need a plan to deal with it or it could be here next."

"Not really my field of Expertise" Lilo tells Mouse.."but it sounds like as good a plan as any"

"There there love..Pharasma has him safe now.At least nothing else can hurt him now."

Lilo turns to the others.."This bird has to go..but we are not powerful enough to attack him head on.How would one go about trapping something that size.It's a threat to the entire Camp otherwise"

"Aye maybe your right we should make sure noone is left behind with that thing around"

Search the beach but keep a wary eye out for crabs.

"Maybe we need to search away from the beach..our fight there must have messed up any tracks on it."

Lilo stops his retreat and stares open mouthed at what is the biggest thing he has ever seen in his life.Finally he recovers himself enough to speak

"Oh...that is...impressive..Do you think it's friendly?"

Then lets get out of here....this is going to get us all killed and even if we do stop these how many more are there.

Lilo attempts to bash Crab 1 with his Morningstar and then skips back out of the way when he misses.

Lilo's chanting increases in pace.However if anyone was really watching him they would see that his concentration was fixed on Warg.

Lilo is at a loss as to what he can do..his spells rely on him being able to see his targets and the crabs are still submerged in 5 feet or more of water..he begins to cast a complicated dweomer

"It's getting a little crowded out there" he remarks to Hickory as he moves to stand with her.

Is Warg's player away or having computer trouble that I don't know about? He hasn't been around in awhile.

Guys, I've lost my internet access. That condition should last for a week or two - I don't know how long really. I may be able to post sporadically, but it would be best for my character to become NPC temporarily.

Lilo and Hickory walk together towards the rear of the group... observing all the strange new sights of this new world they find themselves in whilst remaining wary of anything which might approach them.Every so often Hickory begs a short halt to make a note in her journal or to pick a few leaves for pressing between the pages

"Zombies..Allips, what next in the undead catalogue I wonder..and if we are going to meet more what is the root cause?"

"You know" Lilo remarks "somehow it just does not feel right taking these...perhaps they will be off use in trade with the living though"

"Yes can someone go back and tell his Lordship waht needs to be done here..a few strong backs and decent tools and we can have these people at rest in a few hours"

"Well now we know what happened to those poor souls"

"Yeeeeesssss" Lilo cries as the first of their foes is sent to the abyss that awaits it.."Come on we can do this"

He flings another Disrupting bolt at the remaining Allip which barely skims the thing.
