I might as well withdraw interest. I can post a couple times a day but "The ability to keep up with a fast-moving scene should it start happening" just isn't in the cards for me if it happens during work hours. The nature of my job doesn't allow me to check my phone while I'm actually working, so a few minutes at lunch and a few hours after work are the only windows I have. Honestly with this many good applications I probably wasn't getting in anyway lol.

On the topic of face skills, my Asmodean Advocate archetype lets me use Profession (barrister) in place of any diplomacy or bluff check, which is pretty good on a 20 wis cleric. I’m looking forward to the chance to legalese his way past people’s objections to what he’s doing. :)

Just a quick question, I am a bit new to these forums but interested in this campaign and willing to do a submission. How do you guys use those rolls for the stats? Is there a text command for it?

Underneath the text box you type your post into is a "how to format your text" spoiler. That shows you how to roll dice, bold/italic/etc, create links, and a lot more useful stuff.

Haddek lets go of Caro and slowly gets to his feet, panting with exertion. "Damn, she's stronger than she looks. Wait, what the hell happened to Ilium? Is he ok?"

He wipes his nose uselessly with his sleeve, but the blood still runs fairly heavily down his face. "Someone else can carry her out of here. I'm not going near her until she's no longer a CRAZY MONKEY!" He leans over her and shouts that last into her face angrily. Then steps back quickly, putting Berta between himself and Caro.

"I need a little patching up anyway. Can anyone do something about this?" He waves at his bloody face.
Not sure if Sustos wants to waste healing right now, if not Haddek do it himself.

He takes out his leather case again, filling another vial with powders and liquids. After a vigorous shake, it's mixed well enough and he downs it in one shot. He shivers a little as he puts his case back in his backpack, the extract taking effect quickly.

Sorry for being MIA yesterday, I missed checking the thread for a few days and just noticed this.

“You look lovely tonight, my dear. Absolutely ravishing.” Verus smiled as he pulled out a chair for Lady Shenya Lund. As she sat down, he leaned over and gently kissed her hand. “Of course, you always do.” Circling to his own seat, he was careful to keep the charming smile on his face as his mind worked. “I’ve taken the liberty of instructing the cook on tonight’s meal, it’s roasted lamb in rosemary sauce. I know that’s your favorite.”

Tonight’s meal was crucial. She was coming around, enough so that she had given him the guest house to live in, but she wasn’t quite a true believer yet. He’d gotten as far as he had more on his natural charm than through true conversion. She believed now in Groetus and the coming end, but she didn’t see just how imminent it must be, and didn’t see it as the good thing it clearly was. The world was a terrible place, full of death and terror. People were robbed and killed by bandits, taken by slave traders, killed and eaten by unnamable monsters in the wild. Why should this terrible place go on? Why not end it and start anew? And since it is ending, and we can’t bring our material possessions with us, why not enjoy ourselves while it lasts?

Shenya nibbled thoughtfully on a cherry tomato as Verus began to expertly go through his arguments one by one. His practiced voice slipped into an almost mesmerizing cadence, seeming to speak directly to his listener’s soul. Any time she seemed to be losing interest or losing the thread of his logic, he immediately noticed and changed tack to bring her back. For over an hour he spoke, with short interruptions as the kitchen help brought first a salad, then the lamb with spiced potatoes, and finished with a deliciously sweet crème brûlée.

As the table was cleared he elegantly dabbed at the corner of his mouth with a napkin and stood. ”Enough of serious talk. Shall we go out tonight? I’m sure we can happen upon a party or two, as people celebrate the beginning of the festival. Come, let us enjoy the night.”

Sweet, feat taxes and the un-unchained Summoner! Don't worry, I'll be responsible with all this power you've given me. I promise I won't make a synthesist with 7 str, 7 dex, and 7 con. :)

Morley looks around as the others make their way out to the pasture. "I think this is where they were taken from, but I'll be keelhauled if I can pick out any specific tracks in this grass.
