Lavinia happily gathers up her gear, looking through it carefully to make sure everything is still there.
Still being new to this situation, she listens attentively to what the others are discussing, trying to form her own opinions about this situation.
"Is there anything else we can do to slow them down and chip away at them if we can't handle any major assaults? Besides this bridge are there any other weak points in their path that we can take out? Any more bridges or narrow passes we can start avalanches at? Any supply lines we can cut? Any good places where we could lay out traps?"

If you do add a new player, pm'ing a prior applicant would likely be the easiest way to go for you. That you way, you do not have to write up and monitor a whole new recruit thread while you are busy getting things together for running the game.

Lavinia looks over at Zelligar and tries to answer his questions. "Well, I'm rather embarrassed to say that they took me while I was sleeping. A patrol of them came across my little camp in the middle of the night. The settlements I was traveling between were too far to make it in just one day's time, so I had set up camp at my usual spot. Never had trouble there before, so I wasn't expecting any this last time. Stupid me, obviously."
"I can't say anything about what I may have overheard because I couldn't understand any of what they were saying. They hadn't really done anything to me other than a bit of rough treatment and then tossing me into a cage. I haven't a clue as to what they intended for me."

Lavina looks about at all the dead creatures around them and tries to take in everything that had happened since she was first taken captive.
Responding to Iris: "My name is Lavinia Batharoy, I'm pleased to meet you. You are certainly quite adept at dealing with hobgoblins."
To Tal: "Nice to meet you as well Tal. I would appreciate some water if you have it. The stuff they gave us wasn't fit for drinking."
Lavinia listens to Zelligar's questions. "These hobgoblins were my captors. Sadly they all look alike to me, so I cannot say for certain if any different ones had left or came back. I'm sorry to not be of much use."
"Compared to what you lot have done, I'm not sure how useful I would be, but I would be more than willing to help Elsir Vale and get some revenge on them for taken me prisoner."
Lavinia takes in the sight of the large Bran heading their way. "Is that a half-giant or something?"

Yeah, that's why I went ahead and chose to heal Dai (though pitifully). I think I've slept most of them before the sergeant woke them up. Maybe I will eventually pick up accursed hex so I can get a second shot with my hexes.

The Glitter dust lasts 5 rounds. I went back and counted 5 total saves now for it I think. So they should be able to see again when they start their next turn.

Despite having read the spell, it didn't even register with me that it would attack the caster of the spell too. I'd really hate to accidentally kill either of us since we both just entered. I should probably do something less painful to us.

If I'm reading the map right, can Lavinia cast Thorny Entanglement under the 3 hobgoblins 3 squares below her on the map? Centered to get as many of them as possible? Most specifically, whoever shot her. Spell DC check 18

I shouldn't forget to protect myself in this battle since I'm a bit squishy, so Lavinia will be changing her action to casting Mage Armor upon herself and accepting the knife given.

Just now realized I had never put down a Patron. Fixed that and my sheet should be done now.
Were there any rules on how much could be spent on any one item?
I found it on this list. However, it doesn't give any stats for it on that one. So to make it easier, I think I will just use a Sprite instead.
They are listed on the Improved Familiar list for a level 5 caster.
Wanting to take Improved Familiar for a feat, are you ok with a small Invisible Stalker for her familiar? It is listed on the list with that feat. I kind of like the idea of having what others think is an imaginary friend for her familiar.
I've never tried E6 before. Would be interested in seeing how it works out. I may build a Changeling Witch for this and see how well it will fit in with your group.

Regardless of whatever was in your original submission post, the race you chose was still not on the approved race list given by the gm. I was just trying to let you know that so you could pick a new race and try to re-submit the character and stand a chance to get into the game.
Though if this is how you respond to help, I can promise you that I will never try to help you again.
Skezok - Did you look at the races approved for the game? Tengu was not on the list.
Also, if there is no crunch and/or no background on your sheet, then that isn't really a submission. There is nothing to judge your character on, no way of telling how it would fit into a party or how it would interact with any of the other characters.
On the OP he listed the races allowed:

Expanded my background a bit to explain the campaign trait I took.
It's not a matter of being willing to commit to CE, it's more of a matter of playing an alignment that fits your character. Certainly Chaotic anything is my favored alignment, but not quite what I envision this character being.
