Dual Identity (Ex) Despite being a single person, a magical child’s dual nature allows her to have two alignments, one for each of her identities. For the purpose of meeting a qualification for a feat, class, or any ability, she is only eligible if both of her alignments meet the requirements. Chocola was walking through the park on a totally ordinary day in spring, admiring the flora and fauna as she passed, her ears perky and alert on the top of her head. She so enjoyed these types of days. Look! There was a deer! And a sunflower! Oh what a wonderful day until a creature fell on her. She let out a shrill scream as its body contacted with her face, causing her to fall on her butt. ”What the heck?!” Looking down at her lap, she found the creature was a sloth. ”Oh, hello little guy! You must have mistaken your arm for a branch and fal-”

”CONGRATULATIONS! YOU HAVE BEEN INVITED TO ATTEND THE HOUSE OF UNYIELDING RADIANCE! THE NEWEST AND MOST PRESTIGIOUS FIGHTING SCHOOL!”

Chocola’s ears folded as the creature screamed at her and she let out a frightened shout. ”Yo- you can talk!” She pushed the sloth off of her and scooted away. ”How can you talk?!”

”I’M YOUR SPIRIT GUIDE! THE KEY TO YOUR TRUE POTENTIAL! DO NOT BE AFRAID! I WILL NOT HURT YOU!” Its uncharacteristically masculine voice rang in her ears. Was anyone else seeing this? She looked around, blushing, but saw no one was around. ”Keep your voice down! Do you need to yell?”

”I WILL SHOW YOU THE WAY TO VICTORY, CHOCOLA! JUST COME TO THE SCHOOL WHERE YOUR POTENTIAL CAN BE REACHED!” Backing away a little farther, she sighed. ”You can’t be serious! I’m supposed to drop everything and come with you to this fighting school?”

”YOU WILL GET THE FINEST TRAINING AVAILABLE TO UNLOCK YOUR HIDDEN TALENTS! COME ON NOW! DON’T MAKE ME BEG YOU! YOU’LL GET POWER! GLORY! YOU’LL TRAVEL! ALL IN THE NAME OF GOOD!”

Chocola sighed. ”Okay okay! If you’ll stop yelling I’ll check it out…” It seemed he wasnt taking no for an answer… Suddenly, he dematerialized, the particles that once made up his body moving fast towards her neck. Again, she made a startled yelp, but it did not hurt her. Where there was once bare flesh, there was now a lovely choker with a bell on it. ”Just like this sloth, to be something loud… Wait! How do I get there!! Come back!!”

Backstory:

Keith was born into an all female tribe of elves near the Mordant Spire, the bane of his mothers existance. You see, only once in a blue moon is a male child delivered to one of these women, and, because of his gender, he became a second class citizen in his own home. Because he was male, he was never taught any of the customs and knowledge normally passed down, leaving him quite an outcast. He tried to be a good child, but no matter how hard he tried, he was never accepted or loved by his mothers. Eventually, he was approached by a mysterious glowing fae. "Oh little one. You seem to have a hard life. I have been watching you for a while now and I believe we can be of benefit to each other. Begin to play tricks and seductions and I will grant you power. Deal?" Of course Keith took it. He was soon after kicked out for being a general nuisance, not to mention being male. He has since then been on a quest to cause as much meyham as possible.

Hello!

I have started a gofundme so I can get a Service Dog. Now before you click away thinking "oh this girl is just asking for money" give me a moment to explain my situation.

I have PTSD and it makes it really hard to go out and do social things. This means, among other things, that I do not get to go out and game in a live setting. I tried before, but I would get too nervous and end up dissociating, meaning I kind of go into my head and look down on myself. Kind of like if you were scrying, but on yourself...

If you know of or have PTSD, you will know that it is a difficult disorder to live with. Though I am in bi-weekly couseling sessions, I still cannot go to the groery store without my husband... Honestly I cant really go anywhere without my husband. And if we do, I can only stay for a limited time.

What the Service Dog will allow me to do is to go out of he house and have a safety net. The dog, after it is properly trained, will be able to alert me when I am about to or having a panic attack. It wil also block other people from getting too close to me by standing behind me. It will alert me when there is a person coming up behind me, and, most importantly, will help me stay grounded, or stay in my body and not get trapped in that uncomfortable fog.

I hope that you can find it in your hearts to give what you can, but if you cannot give any money, and even if you can, it would be MEGA helpful if you could share my gofundme page with your friends and family.

short backstory:
She grew up with the axe-breaks, close to the place the humanfolk called Brevoy. Ever since she could remember, however, the humanfolk have been something to fear, something to stay away from lest you be shot, de-feathered, and eaten. She saw it happen to one too many of her kind and did not want it to happen to her.
But now these humanfolk wish her to join something. Give her a letter written in their tongue. It says come and help us settle land.
She knows what they want. She reads their books; knows their language. She is even interested in going on this adventure. After all, if she doesn’t keep an eye on the humanfolk, who will?

Background:
Dana grew up in a traveling family. She was always a kind child, never asking for anything she didnt need and giving everything she had. Many people wondered why she was cursed with such a horrid existance. Though she was always healing and mentoring others, her life was a cocophany of broken and hidden items. When her father died, she took for Andoran, hoping someone there could help her rid of the horrid spirits that destroyed all things around her. She made it to a small inn and decided to stay the night there. The rest is history....

I've seen a lot of dropping out of recruitment lately. A lot of it has to do with getting accepted into another campaign in my experience.

When it comes to Ai working at the bar, I figure that could work to some extent. I also have no problem making alliences in recruitment. It helps players to extend their backstory and to make ties. I've never had a problem with it in the games I've GM'ed or the games I have submitted something for. But thats just me. :) Im pretty laid back.
