my suggestion stands. Interestingly enough prior to this mission I had gone with the soldier specialty that treated unarmed as a battle glove so maybe I could have AAO, then I recalled I went with the bombard. Too bad I had forgotten, and tog was near or I could have grenades the lot of em.

Listening to the towns tale of good fortune he laughs with them, echos their toast and generally engraciates himself with the crowd with good natured bawdyness (Yeah, I made that up. Maybe bawditry?).

"Talbot eh? What a stroke of good fortune!"

As soon as I get to my laptop this afternoon I'm going to make some slight changes to Jan (swap to Bombardier instead of armor storm) and make some purchases, since my last session just ended recently.

Jan strolls in the room proceeded by the clump of heavily armored boots. The soldier was dressed in his usual battered heavy armor, dull grey and festooned with pouches holding the various accoutrements for his profession, mostly grenades and ammunition for his heavy reaction cannon.

The full face helmet of his armor was off, clipped to his belt revealing a young and scarred face, good natured smile planted on it as he walked in. 3 day stubble on his cheeks leading past friendly blue eyes to 3 day stubble on his head.

His armor, in addition to old dents and scars, well patched, contained a few suspicious burn marks that looked relatively new.

Looking at the usual eclectic collection of fellow agents, the soldier smiles and says. "Greetings. I'm Jan. They said paying work, so here I am."

Jan takes a deep breath as the cube comes apart under their combined fire. Still he barks, "Reloading!" as he efficiently drops the spent mag and slams a new one home.

Only then after clearing the remainder of the building, he slows down and looks about.

"Whew, that was one heck of a day. How about we take ten, search this place before the authorities come or the rest of those zombies find us."

I'm good with a rest.
