Thanks for the Chronicle, Shifty - I didn't really feel like I earned it for this scenario since I couldn't regularly post. I obviously won't be able to continue with the game until my work schedule becomes less all-consuming, but I greatly enjoyed the game with you all!

Checking back in, looks like J'Shun did everything right by Izzip's priorities. Does anyone know how many RP Izzip spent channeling and how much Wisdom drain they have now? I'm not sure how much it costs to fix that in post-game, but I want to make sure I have enough credits for it.

Izzip, who had been apparently out of commission for the start of combat, suddenly increases the volume of their chanting, trying to use Sarenrae's holy radiance to boost the ship's deflective countermeasures.

Acting as Magic Officer (Engineering phase), Izzip will spend 1 Resolve Point to conjure a mystic haze.

Mysticism 27: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (10) + 20 = 30 - obscuring field garbles our opponent’s sensors and hinders their ability to gain information about our ship’s defenses and positioning, providing our starship a +1 enhancement bonus to AC until the end of the next round. In addition, the increased interference means all science officers on the opposing starship taking the scan or lock on actions before the end of the next round must roll twice for their checks and use the worse result.

Izzip blanches at the sight of J'Shun being pinned down by the massive worm's tongue, and quickly evaluates what is more likely to force the beast to release the commander. Although the Pegasus' lasers will likely pack the most punch, Izzip worries successfully targeting the tongue to rescue J'Shun will be extremely difficult. Instead, they run up next to the commander and attempt to use Sarenrae's magic to force the tongue off.

I'm having a hard time visualizing the scene, but I imagine that the option to direct Pegasus laser fire only applies against the leviathan itself, not its tongue that's small enough to be in a hand-to-hand encounter. Preferred course is a Move Action to move near J'Shun, Standard Action to cast force blast on the tongue, hopefully to push it away and relieve the pinned condition. If that would seem like folly, then Izzip will instead try to guide Fitch's laser to successfully target the worm (Perception is +17, so add 3 to the Bull Rush result).

Izzip bounces over to where the captive scientists are held, keeping an eye out for any more blob monsters or other surprises lurking in the rafters. Thunderstrike pistol in hand, Izzip runs up behind Rastar and tries to transfer some of Rastar's injuries onto their own body. They then draw power from some of the experimental magitech to fill the room with a mystical fog, mimicking the gas giant's atmospheric gases.

When a gap in the questioning occurs, Izzip asks the sprite, "Is there any information about what's happened here that you want to make sure we relay to the Pact World authorities?"

With the attacker surrounded and still slowed, Izzip holsters their pistol, hoping to save the battery for when they need it most. Instead, they reach behind their shoulder and draw the chitin blade they picked up on a prior excursion - if there is only one staggered enemy remaining, might as well finish it off without spending resources.

"Huzzah! Now we can run away and pick them off while they drag behind!" Izzip cries in triumph, not fully appreciating that not everyone here has an artificially enhanced movement speed. They twirl their sonic pistol in their claw and pop off a shot at the black creature lurching towards Rastar.

Not sure if Rastar is digging his heels in or not, but slow will likely be more effective if we move away and force them all to spend their turns moving at half-speed. They can't take reactions while staggered, so no risk of AoE.
