Hnn. It seems we must be like the deer and make them work for their kill.

Guides feels the battle turning against him.

To die fighting for gaia...yet never see Gaia again...ironic.

He will fight the same foe, attacking twice via expenditure of rage points.

Guides growls in the room tongue,

A good idea. One of the homid should do this, these toys are meant for spider monkeys. But likewise, one of them should slay this wyrm riven thing, they know the proper human platitudes to help whatever passes for its spirit rest easier. Perhaps some of these toys should be given to the wendigo?

Remember that I would do it again though many of your people would kill me, if they could". He lingers a moment more as if if awaiting more questions but unsure if he truly wants to answer them.

Guides shifts into his homid form - naked- to better speak with this strange being.

A Son Of Bear? Always have my people spoken well of yours. I am in your debt.

He awkwardly walks over to Bill, heedless of his nudity, hand extended to shake.

Male Lupus Red Talon Philodox 1

If possible, Guides jaw would drop in surprise - is this man garou, spirit or something else? But this confirms this suspicion that this man is related to the theurge in some way. He gladly (but not TOO gladly, as he had endured privation before and better than these homids!) gets within the bounds of the Holy place, although he remains in lupus form. Once inside, he sits by the fire, and inclines his head in thanks m

Male Lupus Red Talon Philodox 1

Guides continues to follow from a distance, not trusting this human... But he thinks of the theurge. Could this be the help she was sending? And he thinks of *her*. Could this human be "cut from the same cloth", as the humans say? Shaking his head to clear out from such unwelcome thoughts, he stalks quietly.

Canadian Woods - Gaia

Frozen leaves and pine cones crunch underneath your feet as you all begin to head west away from the Wendigo Sept. The snow falls gently through the thick woods and the sense of peace you had remains, at least for a little while.

An hour into the trek the woods seem remote and desolate, if too far north these woods could literally be hundreds of miles away from civilization. None of you speak, none of you have to one foot in front of the other is all that can be accomplished at the moment.

A few minutes later light snowfall becomes heavy, very heavy. The winds also begin to pick up. This could well be a bad storm as the trees overhead shake dropping snow and branches upon your heads.

You all pause to discuss what to do next when a light suddenly shines through the woods. It comes closer and a voice echoes with it loud enough to be heard over the rushing winds. "Ho strangers. What do you be doing all the way out here in these woods?!"

perception, survival, primal urge: 10d10 ⇒ (4, 3, 7, 3, 2, 9, 4, 1, 1, 3) = 37The peace and quiet of the woods and snow does not bother Guides in the slightest. It instead gives him time to think. Murder - a human word, a human concept - but he knows what it means to stand accused. He knows himself innocent, and is confident these assembled mooncalfs aren't capable of such a thing - they have been walking in the wrong direction for a few moments, after all, murder seems a bit beyond them to say the least. After taking a moment to redirect the would be pack, and agreeing that they should head to the scab-caern and west to avoid any wendigo packs, he trudges along, confident that they will make their way.

The appearance of the human rattles him, however. He makes himself scarce, and observes from a distance. dexterity, stealth: 7d10 ⇒ (3, 7, 7, 1, 8, 3, 6) = 35

The woman raises her voice once more, "Certainly the Pup Howls at Dawn need not go, he is Uktena..."

The Glabro spins on her and stares her down, she shrinks back at his gaze. He then turns back to Howls, "Your people have long reeked of the Wyrm with your foul magic. I would not be surprised if you are the one responsible for suggesting such an atrocity so that your people may steal our lands and our Caerns for your own!

We have made our decree Pups. You have five minutes, if you have not taken your leave the Litany does not require us to consider the words of traitors to Gaia once we have established and made clear our intent. Remain and we will show you what the Wendigo do to traitors..."

Guides lowers his head as an omega wolf should but says in a clear, low voice.

As you say, rhya. However, I would not ask, as I have no real standing and cannot ask, no, I must instead beg of you to allow perhaps another Theurge here to look at the coin before we go. I need to know if we have thrown in our lot with murderers before we return. Surely, the spirit within the coin saw or heard something that will allow us to bring the rage and fangs of the Wendigo to the throat of the truly guilty party.

He whines and rolls around on the ground in submission afterwards putting on a pathetic display.
