As my day job when I was adventuring, I always wrote the title of a novel about my adventure. After all, those Pathfinder Chronicles can be so dry and boring. But I can assure you that my books are thrilling tales, full of action, adventure, and passion! They're all available now at my book shop, Silver Fox Books in Absalom, and other fine book shops across the Inner Sea.

Here are a list of the titles I came up with at the end of my adventures. Um, I really did think of the title right when the adventure ended, and I don't exactly remember why I chose all of these titles. Some of them you might be able to figure out which adventures from the Chronicles they correlate to... some of them, not so much. Anyway, here's a list of my complete works. Enjoy!

After making her dry yet complete official report, Genta goes home and sets her quill to paper. Her next thriller will simply be called Death Lodge.

Magic and skill boons please. Also, Genta can slow track this one if needed. I lost the link to the doc that guides that.

"Oh, pretty much all the live long day," says Genta, catching her breath. "Yeah, you should do something about them. I'm just grateful we and the Sky Key are fine. Trust me, this thing is way worse." Genta will make sure Kreighton Shaine gets the Sky Key back. "Renyrd, no," she adds, seeing her fox eyeing the artifact.

I've got a dimension door too if we need more magic to carry everyone.

Also, to be fair to Ksarress, describing the goal of "return the universe to primordial chaos" as not-evil seems pretty arbitrary to me.

"Ugggh," Genta groans. Leaving the proteans and Ksarress to have it out, She points at the remaining lightning elemental. "You. You are having a bad day." She casts major curse at it. Will DC 25 negates. If it fails, it has a 50% chance to take no action on its turn each round.

"The Sky Key isn't going anywhere anymore," says Genta. "It's basically an immovable rod. Can we clear the area please!?"

To the extent that Genta knows what's going on - which is not much at all - she informs everybody of what she knows. I don't think she translates the conversation word for word because what she can understand of it is totally meaningless.

Genta understands almost all of the conversation, except for the Tengu part. "I think these are imentesh proteans," she says through the message spell. "Sounds like they just want to leave, so as long as they don't take the Sky Key with them..."

Genta, feeling vindictive, sticks her leg out as the panicked elf runs by.

    Trip AoO: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15 vs. CMD

If this trips Genta due to failing by 10 or more, so be it. She's flying anyway. It does not provoke an AoO in turn because he's panicked.

Then Genta flies up a little.
    Spell Penetration: 1d20 + 10 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 10 + 2 = 18

"This one is mine," Genta growls, her voice weak with pain, as she points at the terrified elf.

Genta lets out a cry of pain, clutching her side as she bleeds. She flies away from her foe provoking an attack of opportunity to move. With noises of pain and confusion, she flies closer to her defender, Max. But once she gets there, she spots a unique opportunity. Moving just a bit closer to the foe again, she keeps her eyes on his blade as she casts a spell!

    Concentration: 1d20 + 10 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 10 + 9 = 29 vs. DC 23

She manages to focus on the threat and the spell at the same time, casting safely. Her spell releases an invisible cone of terror. Cunningly, Genta aims it so as to get her elven foe and clip the elemental in the very corner of the cone, and yet avoiding her allies.

The spell is fear, the Will DC is 25 for the elf and 24 for the lightning elemental.

Genta looks momentarily at Max for his reaction.

Genta dismisses the blink spell, hoping the Sky Key will calm down. She puts herself behind her allies, and tries to think about anything useful to do with this weird mist thing...

Awkwardly, Genta doesn't have the actions to hand over the Sky Key just yet (which I think is a move action). If someone else wants to spend a move action to take it from Genta, they can. The main goal is keeping it away from the invisible baddie with as few dimensional shenanigans as possible.

"Ha ha!" Genta laughs, skirting the weird mist as she flies away, doing her best to weave out of his reach taking the withdraw action. But she is aware that she's now probably a giant target. She flies directly for the safety of her friends, scanning for that guy's friend.

    Perception: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (5) + 16 = 21

Assuming she can't figure out where he is from that

"Uh, you guys. I think I saw some kind of hand come out of that mist," she whispers as she gets close to them. "And... oh gods oh gods this is glowing ohhh no. The things I saw happen to people in Numeria who messed with technology... I saw this one guy who, his veins... and his eyes bleeding... and he sort of just hung in midair, and... aaaah," she frets, watching the Sky Key flash ominously in an erratic pattern in time with her blinking. "Uhh...here! Hold this!" She offers the Sky Key to Gaevus. "You're better at Keep Away than me! Grab this and then just hang onto it! It's okay, you're not blinking, so it should be totally safe in your hands probably."

I don't think Fetch can target Genta with haste, on account of she's invisible. So unless Fetch can see invisibility...

Genta flies over quickly to the elf holding the Sky Key, correcting her attitude to account for the tilt of the tower. When she gets close to the elf, she casts a suggestion spell from invisibility (making herself seem to suddenly appear).

"That's a really terribly dangerous artifact, give it to me quick!" she says, earnestly.

Blink miss chance for Suggestion (low misses): 1d100 ⇒ 74

    Bluff for the lulz: 1d20 + 23 ⇒ (9) + 23 = 32

As Genta casts the suggestion spell, she has a flash of memory. "It's okay, I'm a friend," she adds in Elven, giving a little oomph to the Suggestion spell - just Amara Delisen of the Umbra Carnival taught her, early in her adventuring career.

Using Masterful Performance boon from the Murder's Mark chronicle sheet to add +1 to DC and CL of this spell. Against this elf, the total DC of Suggestion is 24, unless he gets a penalty on his save because this is such a reasonable suggestion.

Rather than arduously walking up all those stairs, Genta floats up to the door using her flight hex. Looking at the ceiling, she gets an idea. "Hey. You know, maybe I could actually zip through the ceiling and do some scouting. I've never tried that before."

Genta considers her plan, wondering how dangerous a bit of her own interplanar travel would be here in this floating tower.

    Knowledge (arcana or planes): 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (3) + 22 = 25

If Genta doesn't think interplanar travel is dangerous here:

After everybody is done buffing, Genta casts invisibility and blink, and then flies through the ceiling, hoping it's less than 5 feet thick, though once she's in, she's going through if at all possible. Once and if she makes it to the ceiling, she looks around as quickly as possible. Then she zips back down to report.

    Invisostealth: 1d20 + 3 + 20 ⇒ (1) + 3 + 20 = 24

If Genta thinks interplanar travel is too dangerous here:

"Then again, maybe let's just take the door," she concedes, and casts invisibility.

"Sure, try rolling it back up," suggests Genta, rereading the protocol. "This isn't how the Hao Jin Tapestry normally works anyway. Usually we just get sucked inside." Renyrd looks at Genta and yaps. Genta looks at him thoughtfully. "You're right."

Assuming that rolling up the giant magic tapestry with a huge portal in it doesn't somehow solve everything

"Okay, stand back." Genta says, warningly. She rolls up her sleeves. "Protocol alpha-7-dracolisk is in effect. I'm going to have to put into effect plan Zey-Emergency-Omega-4." She pauses. "If we get in trouble for this, it was all his fault," adds Genta, pointing to Renyrd. She'll then begin the ritual.

Genta has a ring of protection +1 she nabbed from earlier in the mod. So far I don't believe it has been relevant.

Genta looks with satisfaction upon the dead Aspis agents, a bit disappointed that she had no role in their demise as Calistria would have liked. Regardless, she and Renyrd start to search the room for Aram Zey's notes, or any useful clues.

She dashes across the room towards the fire and starts scooping up anything flammable on the ground near it, snatching up whatever books or scrolls she can save in the square between her and the fire. Renyrd's eyes widen, and he looks outside. He starts hopping up and down eagerly, making screaming noises of excitement waiting for the two-legs to hurry up and go.

Did we learn anything about the books?

"Let me see those!" Genta says, gathering up the books and looking over them. She ignores the other stuff, though Renyrd sniffs through the various items, pointing out which ones are magic.

Genta walks away from the remaining huecuva provoking an attack of opportunity, and sees a human caster hiding in the back. "Why, hello there," she says, stepping towards him. She gives him an impish smile and meets his gaze.

Genta barely winces at the flames, her magic ring and magic spell false life keeping her safe. As for the undead...

The attacks just barely break her skin. Genta suspects she might want to consult Max for a disease removal when this is all over.

Seems to me that attempting to dispelling the wall of fire is kind of a useless turn. It does 2d6+10ish damage, which isn't much at our level, and they might just throw some other spell at us if we take that wall down. Better to leave it and take the equivalent of a 5th level fireball.

"Just go through the fire! It's not that bad!" promises Genta. Unused to having a ring of energy resistance, she takes no damage from the hot curtain of flame and kind of forgets that anyone else might. Eager to find new targets, she follows Gaevus in (possibly taking some minor damage) and sees an undead-looking creature.

"Huecuva! Use magic or silver weapons. It's probably dripping with filth fever," Genta relates. As Gaevus stabs it, Genta darts left out of the flames, suddenly finding herself face-to-face with another of the things. "Oh... hi," she says, holding up her shiny nonmagic, steel (not silver) mace protectively. Renyrd barks at it challengingly.

Oh yeah, that might have been a good idea.

The intent was to make way for people to go fight, either by opening the door or readying to dispel the wall of fire, whichever is more helpful for Genta to do. She only had time to do one of those two things, and I think it would seem to her that opening the door is actually more useful, since it's not a ton of fire damage. So I think the wall of fire is still there and it's only going to (maybe) be dispelled on Genta's next turn.

Genta lets a few people in front, then ducks into the passageway she created. "Oh, great. Who designed this place?"

Is that a door? Genta's action depends on if that's a door in front of her, and whether it's open or closed.

    Closed door:

"Come on, through here! It's only a little fire," says Genta, reassuringly. She opens the door wide so that her friends can go through.

    Open door/not a door:

"Come on, this way! Cut the bars open if you need to!" she suggests to Max and Ksarress. "I'll get rid of the fire the moment you're about to step into it probably!" She doesn't want to dispel it too soon, for fear of another battlefield control spell being flung at them.
Genta readies an action to cast dispel magic on the wall of fire when one of her friends is about to step into it.

I can't see from where I am either, that's why I didn't answer. And I still don't know what's on the other side even if I do move through.

"No no no wait! I have a plan! Close the door, Gaevus! We'll get in another way!" Genta says through message. She pushes her way out of the fog, telling the wolverine to follow, but she moves away from the other door. Instead, she goes for the nearest non-fogged piece of wall. Can do this in one move action.

"I wasn't sure what I was going to use this spell for... sneaking in somewhere we weren't supposed to go, maybe." Genta admits. "Anyway. They've got our number if we go in through the main door, it's full of solid fog. So instead, I'll make a new entrance. Riiight... here!" And Genta casts passwall on the wall directly in front of her.

Possibly this will turn out to be a very bad idea! But, us walking in through solid fog to a nest of enemies to be killed is definitely a bad idea.
