I'm here... but honestly, just barely. This has kind of has died. If you want to find another GM to finish it up, I don't mind in the slightest, but with only 3 of you guys and a pregen at best I think it be best if we call it quits while you guys can still have a easy enough time picking up another run at some point.
Okay, so, I tried my best but was unable to search foo up some answers, so here's to hoping you can direct me to answers! Page numbers or links to AON would be great, and I'm primarily a PFS player/GM so RAW is, sadly, what i have to go by even if there are some GM quick fixes (I understand some things may not have answers and I'll have to GM fiat occasionally, but I want to avoid it if at all possible) Question 1: Combat trained- For some reason, Riding dogs and guard dogs don't seemed to be combat trained, nor do animal companions at base. Can the "Train Animal" be used to teach a animal to be combat trained? It seems to be counter intuitive that these particular animals aren't considered combat trained considering their purpose is called out as being combat creatures. Question 2: Train Animal- Are there any "New actions" That can be trained at the moment? Or are they all just the current basic actions?

Hey guys, sorry for delays. Everything is reported and good to go. Sorry to be a lazy bum, but I've been dealing with some health issues that are knocking me on my rear end. I managed to throw together the base sheet, and I trust all of you to be enough of adults to put in your own day job and gold amount ect. If for some reason you'd rather I do it, just let me know, and I'll fix it up pretty for you. Thanks again for a great game. I'm sorry that it slowed down and have some trouble, but thanks for being awesome players.
Plunder and Peril Ship 1 Plunder and Peril Ship 2
Yup. They even had two characters killed, built two new characters, and had a new small side deal to introduce those two new characters.

Just wanted to give everyone a chance to ask the angel lady for a token or anything for in character stuff if they wanted to. Otherwise we're done, and I'm happy to call it PATHFINDERS WIN! I'll work on getting sheets rolled up.
Plunder and Peril Ship 1 Plunder and Peril Ship 2
Cool. I'll keep posting as long as you guys do, though it will be slow. And no worries Ivan, totally get it.
Plunder and Peril Ship 1 Plunder and Peril Ship 2
So guys... things seem kinda... super stalled. And I understand why, between my jumpy posting and the situation you've landed yourself in, there isn't much you can do from this point if your not willing to go in the water. If you wanna say "F this" and call it that, I'm fine with that. If you want a diffrent GM, i'm fine with that, I just don't want anybody to be left completely out in the cold if you still want to press on.

Myth scratches the thing. The Gnome screams out COME ON! Flix feels a burst of power from gamin, and he feels his sword bite into the steel, but not much. Angie steps in and adds a blow, but the thing is still not giving way... both of them have to take a few more swings before the ring is severed. The woman steps out and smiles... she's... taller than you expected for some reason. Or just the power radiating off her makes her feel taller. She smiles and walks over to kalkamedes, kissing him on the forehead. Almost immediately he slumps to the ground, snoring softly. That should fix his affliction... as for you Koth'vaul... She snarls the word and winces. Would you all give me your hands? Just... for some stability. [ooc]Assuming you do.[/b] She chants softly in a language that somehow reminds you of all the soft kind words spoken to you, and all the most beautiful songs you've ever heard. The gnome screeches in pain as he hears it, growing and growing into a massive, pig like, multi-armed monstrosity. I'LL KILL YOU! I'LL EAT YOUR SOULS! She smiles. Not today you won't. BE GONE! With a flash of light the demon disappears, and she kneels, coughing a bit. Ow. That was... unpleasant. She smiles and looks at each of them in turn. Thank you. For saving me, for helping rid the world of Koth'vaul, and going so far to save your friend... i'm afraid there is not much I can offer you but if there is something, anything I can do... please tell me.
Plunder and Peril Ship 1 Plunder and Peril Ship 2
The woman stretches her wings and smiles. The gnome however bangs against the invisible wall. SHE'S LYING. Quiet Koth'Vaul. You've missed your chance. She bows deeply to them. I am Sulianna, the Luminescent, Ghaele Azata of Elysium. And our rather loud, angry friend over there is Koth'Vaul, glabrezu demon of the pit. LIES And thankfully for me, possessed of a impossible temper. I felt his influence on this plane, and came to destroy him. She winces as she holds her arm. I... um... may have overestimated my power, and underestimated his cunning. While I may have been able to slay him on my own, I did not have the forsight to see that he would ally himself with a dragon. A BOON! LET ME FREE AND YOU CAN HAVE ANYTHING YOUR HEART DESIRES! She glares. Yes Koth'vaul, that's undoubtedly how you convinced the dragon to side with you. I managed to seal Koth'vaul in the sealing circle... but the dragon was to much as well. I think i dealt a fatal blow, but was forced into a circle myself to prevent the dragon from killing me... I wrapped my worst wounds and then... passed out. She furrows her brow. I get the feeling, by the looks of that dragon corpse, that happened a long, long time ago. She smiles at Kalkamedes, though he only snores in return. I must have called out in my dreams for help. If anyone of a good heart and a pure soul was nearby, it might have reached out to them, even if they wandered away afterwards. A WISH! YOU HEARD ME! A REAL, HONEST TO GOODNESS WISH! JUST LET ME OUT! She glares at the gnome. I... don't have the power to kill him now. But if you release me, I can give you a little of my leftover power, and allow you to banish him back to the pits. All you have to do is break the circle. She points down the metal circle of runes that is part of the floor. It's clearly not meant to break accidentally, it'll require a heavy blow. and then I'll be free. OR ME! AND THEN YOU CAN HAVE YOUR WISH!

Dolores taps the woman through the barrier, and she can almost FEEL the goodness that washes off the woman as she puts her hands in the barrier. NO! the gnome screams. NO NO NO NO! The woman opens her eyes, and they glow with a gentle, warm gold aura. She sits up slowly, carefully, as if worried about her arm and legs... as she sits up, she stretches a little, and great golden wings unfurl from her back, seemingly made up of the same energy that comes from her eyes. What... how... the demon... the dragon... who... She stands slowly, wobbling, looking at the mortals in front of her. The demon... where is he? DON'T BELIEVE HER! SHE'S LYING! She raises an eyebrow. I think that answers it.

Flix, Peth, and Myth pepper the undead beasts with attacks. As it roars it's head back, Angie flies forward, nearly stumbling... but Dolores steps in, giving him a boost at the last second, pushing him forward and righting his steps as he brings the sword down in a mighty blow, severing the dragon's head from it's spine, leaving it staring, once again dead, to the ceiling. Whistles and clappping echo from the chamber. YEAH! THAT'S HOW YOU DO IT! THAT'S HOW YA KILL A DRAGON! The gnome jumps up and down and waves his hands. So... I ran this at Gencon. Bit of a rant/background. I'm a bit of a oldschool GM, how the Dice falls is how it happens. I don't want you to die, but I ain't gonna save you, and risk is a part of the game. You should sit down with the understanding that your character may die, and if you don't want that to happen, there are a LOT of better systems out their for that kind of gameplay than pathfinder. With that said? This scenario was a bloody massacre. I had 2 TPKs, 2 tables where at least 3 people died, and the other half ONLY survived because pre-gen players where willing to throw themselves in the way to buy the actual players time to escape. One table just flat out quit before starting when i gave them the warning. Don't get me wrong. I LOVE the scenario itself. But it unfortunately has a few... conflicting problems. First off, the society play has trained to many people to think things are safe and always to level. While this scenario may demonstrate EMPHATICALLY that this is not the case, the fact that the Golem can murder death kill everyone makes it a more feel bad than a demonstration. The same goes for his "No AOO's" handycap. Unless the GM explicitly states that it can't, no one is willing to risk the possibility of a AOO against this thing, and they hamstring themselves horribly trying to not provoke. Only one group of 5 figured it out at gen, because he "Succeeded" at a acrobatics check, then "Failed" With a much higher acrobatics check later. He called BS and I told him to "Think back to what happened last time". It was a light bulb moment, but unfortunately to much of the team was slaughtered at that point to have a hope. Secondly, without fail, every group triggered the mini-boss battle with Dr. Hsiung and ended up having to fight on two fronts. The only time someone managed to find the tunnel, a bad timing roll on the computer's check meant he was trapped in a tiny room with a very angry golem. Third, that stupid rifle. It meant the death of more players this weekend because people kept finding the tablet, realizing it was "Important" and trying to get past the golem into the armory (Or had already gotten into the armory) and split the party, leaving some trapped in the armory to be mushed. Others would inevitably get killed trying to save them. Fourth, that stupid bloody door. All your beefcakes dead? Guess you lose, cause your gonna take a lot of time trying to nat-18+ to get that thing open. Still have your beefcakes but no techies? Good luck getting the 22+ by yourself. Even working together people had trouble making that check, and 3 of them? Was just mean. Fifth, I read it as it said on the tactics. "Until Dead". It has no medicine to know if your proper dead or not, but the thing eliminated all sapient life on the planet. It surely understands the concept of a double tap. Few times this actually was the only reason people got out is that it would waste time to crush a downed PC even if it didn't need to. Basically, this would be a great home game where I could come up with a way to bring them all back after a slaughter, but for PFS? This should have come with a bonekeep-esque warning, which is what i ended up giving every team that sat down after the first night to let them know how dangerous this mission was. Everybody had fun, but unless your willing to fudge numbers in the players direction, spoil things, or do other things to hamstring the scenario, the chances of it all going sideways are HUGE.

Apparently, this is his goal. A quick survey of the room shows that the two alcoves do not allow the prisoners, for that is clearly what they are, to see each other. It takes a minute, but slowly, the doors swing open, grinding as they swing out. Suspended by thick chains, a massive metal cage shaped like a demon's head hangs over a dark shaft with no bottom in sight. Quick as lightning, Setare rips the stingers from her body, wincing... but the first strike that hit her back... she can't reach it, and she can feel... something seeping into and onto her body, dripping down her back. The captain glares as the pistol is yanked from her hands. Apparently, even mind controlled she does not appreciate someone touching her precious pistol. The moment Dragos steps onto the ship, the captain whips her gun and rapier about! Init Setare: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (18) + 9 = 27
Dragos prepares to attack, but the Captain moves with lightning quick reflexes, catching him flat footed as she pulls the trigger! Pistol: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12
But the gun seems badly aimed, and it doesn't even graze him, though the railing behind him that's now missing a chunk speaks to the damage of the weapon.
