Grynt shoots two arrows, with one solidly connecting, dropping GREEN.

Akhila kills BLACK with his Magic Missiles.

Zailus buffs the group with his flag.

Hullric runs as fast as he can to the towers.

Kalek evisorates the GREY goblin.

Quickly dispatching the goblins, the group searches both towers and the corpses for anything of use.

PERCEPTION:

PER-Hullric: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15
PER-Kalak Chei: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15
PER-Akhila: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
PER-Mulgrew: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
PER-Zailus: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23
PER-Grynt: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26

Grynt and Zailus were lucky and found a potion and 2 tanglefoot bags.

The group continues on following the map that they were given...

With the rough hills at now far to the north, the land opens into a broad grassland where the snow is much sparser. The sky is overcast and the temperature has risen, making the march south somewhat easier. For as far as the eye can see, there is nothing but open ground and great fir trees that dot the landscape.

Survival dc 15:

You recognize that a major snowstorm is coming, and that the group should start to prepare camp to ride out the approaching storm.

KALEK (BOTTED - 24 hrs no post)

Kalek runs forward to the southernmost tower, and readies an attack against the first opponent that may attempt to exit the tower.

Readied Attack:

Unarmed Strike: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

ROUND 1/2========================================
Kalek Chei -1
GREEN
GREY -4
BLACK
Grynt -3
Akhila (Mage Armor)
Zailus -2
Hullric

GREEN opens up with a SHORT BOW against Grynt, who it saw drop a fellow goblin.

Bow: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21 HIT
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 3

GREY exits the southern tower, only to be hit in the face by KALEK's readied attack. But, it doesn't kill the goblin, so the goblin swings at Kalek.

Short Sword: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15 HIT
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 1

Black steps out of the northern tower, aims at Zailus(who also downed a fellow goblin), and shoots his bow at him.

Bow: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21 HIT
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 2

Round 1 finish up, Round 2 start.... (IF BOLDED YOU MAY GO)!

As I am sure that everyone here is aware, Paizo has decided to not support Pathfinder in its current form, instead later this year release and promote its new form, 2E.

As a player (and GM) who has spent tons of time, energy, and effort in playing, promoting by GMing, and paying this game, I think that that is a complete slap in the face. Especially since they have stated that when 2e comes out that they will stop supporting and producing content for 1e. That is a slap in the face to me, the paying player.

As such, I am done being a GM. I am not going to support a company by using their products and leading groups of players if they are going to abandon us. I am sorry that it has come to this, but quite frankly I'm pissed off with them right now.

Sorry to everyone concerned.

You are led forward to the first barred doors, and they are opened to you. What lies beyond is the remainder of the curved hallway, and it clearly looks like it comes out the other end.

For me, it is the requirement to own all of the source books (which is a completely fair expectation of Paizo). It has been more than a small investment over the last few years. I am reticent to start that process over again (especially as I came to PFS late in their run).
An expense that is almost doubled for people who also use HeroLab to manage their characters! (A voluntary choice, obvs, but a reality for many of us.)

And then they want us to do it all over again? Really? And then double it again for HeroLab? I don't mind buying the occasional book/module when I need it, but 2e better be PERFECT or I'm going to not partake, playing 1e until its dead then I'm done.

Don't get me wrong, I have lots out on tons of money over the years with CCG/TCG games that went out (Star Wars and Start Trek by Decipher, Inc. come to mind), not to mention Star Wars LCG by FFG here recently. Star Wars mini's by WOTC.

My point is that they can redo the rules and update/modify the existing system allowing everything to be still work WITHOUT the need for a complete 2e edition, negating my money over the years.

It better be VERY good or I will just keep with 1E until it is dead and then end my relationship with Paizo.

Grand Lodge

03-01 Frostfur Captives

If I put them on the map you can see them and shoot/stab/slash at them. You will note that there are a total of 5 goblins in INIT order, but only 3 showing on the map. Which means that there are 2 you can't see.

See, I'm looking at ALL the money I have spent on 1e books, scenarios, maps, cards, Hero Lab packs and the like and then see that they are going to a completely new edition? And then STOP producing PFS content for 1e? Not happy at all. I spend this kind of money on a game and game system I expect it to stay for some time to come without throwing it all away! I will give it a good honest look, but I am, right now, NOT HAPPY.

First part for Fallen Fortress now posted. I know I only delivered your chron sheets Sunday, so there is no real rush here, if you still need to make any purchases or redesign for your character, feel free to do so.

Grand Lodge

03-01 Frostfur Captives

You are in Absalom, the mighty City at the Center of the World, and you’ve always longed to explore one of the countless ruins of failed conquerors that litter the plains outside the city’s walls.

You’ve heard rumors that one of the sealed siege castles has been laid open by a minor earthquake. Word on the street is that no one has yet entered the tower, which folks are calling the “Fallen Fortress.” What better way to start a life of excitement and adventure than by exploring its long-abandoned, dusty halls and perhaps claiming its ancient treasures?

Make any purchases you need, then you set out to the Fallen Fortress which is only a few hours from the city's walls to the Cairnlands.

The ruined siege castle now being called the Fallen Fortress rises out of the churned earth of the Cairnlands. No doors or windows mar the otherwise smooth expanse of the tower’s walls. The tower is quatrefoil in plan; its eastern wing has largely collapsed, exposing the interior floors to the open air. Only the topmost level seems whole, though its eastern portion hangs precariously over the mountain of rubble left by the collapse. At ground level, the rubble frames a gaping hole in the side of the building that provides access to the tower’s darkened interior.

This entire adventure will take place on SLIDE 17. The guide has the entire layout as a single page map (makes this very easy). Go ahead and place your character icon(s) on the ground floor BEHIND the RED line.

Lightfoot looks at you all "Hurry up and head out, good luck."

The map that Ragna Lightfoot provided you takes you past two ancient stone watchtowers set in a low mountain pass.

A narrow southern pass winds its way through steep, icy hills, the frigid wind periodically dusting all in its path with a layer of snow. Two ancient stone watchtowers stand on either side of the path between two nearly vertical bluffs rising thirty feet to either side, just as Lightfoot’s map indicated they would. The eighty-foot-wide path narrows to a mere twenty-five feet in width between the two fifty-foot towers.
