While the thurge usually struggles to maintain his civility with non-elves, Fethril does respect those who attempt to strengthen their connection to nature. Stormy certainly fits that description. More than that, she has demonstrated herself to be a professional as well as someone with integrity. He believe that if she were an elf, she would be unstoppable. Still, she's not too bad... for a human.

Coming out of Delay

Stunned at the sudden turn of events, Fethril's eyes go wide with surprise. Recovering quickly, he races along the cavern wall. Upon reaching the fallen warrior, the cleric calls upon the power of Nethys once more. He funnels healing energy into the Grog.

Have to say I am also not a fan of one player making a unilateral decision for the entire table. Pbp excels at character development and story-telling. I don't care for someone else deciding what I find fun, so using that as a justification is both disingenuous and inaccurate.

You turned what could have potentially been a cool character moment for someone else into just another boring combat.

This game is supposed to be collaborative.

A dour-looking elf comes walking up. His gaze alternates between his surroundings and an unrolled parchment in his hands. He consults what must be a missive as he tries to find where exactly he has been dispatched to.

My sincere apologies.

"Dwarven? Sorry, I don't have the stones for it." He scans the faces of the others looking for any glimmer of familiarity. Bah! Why do I bother? They all look the same anyway. If only they had the details and distinction of elven features.

He half-heartedly waves at the others as if it is clearly an effort he would rather not be bothered with. "Well met. I am Fethril. I am certain you are all very good at what you do. I am here to help make you better at it."

Fethril is a sour-puss to be sure, but I can dial it back if it is a bother to anyone. Fethril is my (probably very ill-conceived) experiment with the mystic thurge. His role is some healing, some buffing, some crowd control. I usually start fights off casting Enlarge Person and/or Bless. Any requests for something specific? Happy to oblige if possible.

Reflex vs DC 25: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24 The elf nearly manages to twist out of the way. However, in this case, 'nearly' is nowhere near enough. He slaps at wisps of fire on his cloak before raising his holy symbol again.

LAST CHANNEL: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 2) = 7 I will do both channels centered so everyone and all the animals benefit from the healing. So, 17 points back to everyone.

If possible, once clear of these badlands, can we camp outside of town? That would allow us more resources to heal the animals and the team.
