Faunra looks at Grigore and shakes her head "Cheater" she says teasingly. She then starts to lay out her bedroll near the fire, setting the rest of her stuff at the end of her bedroll. She then takes her hair out of the ponytail and starts undoing part of her ceremonial armor.
"Really Lash..." Faunra says as she starts to struggle a little with the added weight of the wood. "Its fine I need to work on my upper arm strength anyway..." She makes her way back into camp and puts the wood down and then starts working on the fire. "Don't worry I'll have the fire going before you get back with dinner." she says to Lash before the hunter heads out. She then pulls a flint and steel from her belt pouch and starts trying to light a fire, singing a song as she does so.
Faunra will sent out her bedroll and then will help Lash gather some firewood.

Faunra will shake the young ladies hand and then smile at Mathiel. "I for one wouldn't mind doing a little shopping. Not much I want to get with my cut but I can think of a few things."
"I am fine with a wagon and if we need to save money I am sure Lash could work as a pack animal in a pinch" she says the last part in a tasing juvial tone.
"I'm in as well and I'm sure we can find your brother in law." Faunra nods her head reassuringly.
Faunra chuckles a little as Lash hip bumps her and then gets a serious look on her face at Lashes mention of handeling the taxes. "That is a very good point. Hate to do a favor for you and end up getting a hand chopped off for theft." Faunra will try to sense motive to make sure this isn't some sort of really elaborate setup.
Faunra leans over to Lash and whispers quietly "I smell nepotism...that means favoring one's family over other more capable people in case you didn't know that."
Faunra sighs She was doing so well until the cook kept her from her drink for to long she thinks to herself while listening to Lash make her point. When she was done Faunra will nod her head in agreement. "I agree with my friend Lash. We need to know a little bit more before we sign on the dotted line. Mrs....Jeminda was it? What are the chances of something having happened to your collector? Do you feel he is in danger? Or would it be possible he's run off with the money for himself?"
Faunra turns to Marku and smiles "I'll take a green tea if you have it and some of that fish stew, it smells good."
Faunra listens as the job gets explained to her. "Just one question...how does a govnermnent..." he pauses and makes air quotes in the air "forget to collect taxes from one of its cities for more than a decade...like who doesn't notice. And what have you been using to fund any issues needing handeling in Ravenmoor...you know what the taxes should go to fund?"
"Well we are kind of mercinaries for higher Grigore" Faunra says as she joins the rest of her friends at the table. "I mean I've seen Lash and Amyia do some very creative things to the human body for the right amount of money..."
Sorry I haven't posted much I've been down with the flu...had a 103 degree fever for 3 days in a row but finally back on my feet.
Faunra looked over the note one more time, leaning against the side of the Drunken Dog. A soft smile came across her lips as a sense of occomplishment started to fill her finally they notice my tallents and the higher ups are starting to contact me she said. She wasn't very sure if she recognized the name. Thinking back she tried to place it. Seeing her friend Lash enter the bar Faunra decides to follow her. "Kind of surprised to see you here, I know how you feel about working for government officials." She says warmly to her friend, joining her either at the bar or at her table. There she is all updated with a background. I hope to get chosen for this but I understand I came late to the game. She just seems like she would be a blast to play.
Thanks Callous! I thought this alies was level 3 but according to the profile details its still the level 1 sheet so I'm working on leveling her up. Will let you know when she's done. Her background will be staying the same though.

About 20 minutes after you guys sit down and begin eating Faunra comes down the stairs and sees Sorin sitting with you guys. She comes up to the table and looks at Sorin "Can I please talk to you?" she asks.
Sorin: The barmaid eventually joins Sorin at the table and smiling at him. "Sorry for the wait...its a mad house in here tonight. Mind if I sit for a moment?" if she's allowed to sit the two of you talk for hours and eventually she asks if you will take her upstairs for the night.[/b]
Other than fluff, background skills, and a campaign specific trait my character should be good to go. If you have time Gathrix can you take a look and let me know what you think?
I'm thinking of submitting something like this character. I'll rework her to fit a little better tonight or tomorrow and get a more accurate sheet up then.
Sorin:
Faunra frowns at Sorin "I'm not from around here and no little of the towns history so I'm not sure. I do know he's rather persistent when he takes an interest in someone...in a creepy get a way from me way...I know you just met but I'd keep an eye on him and your friend over there...I get stalker vibes from him which is why I've never responded to any of his advances."
The barmaid looks at the gnome and shakes her head "Ameiko is way to busy preparing for the festival and then cometing in the cooking competition tomorrow to meet with you but maybe after the festival she will return to normal...I mean will have more time. And yes I speak Tian and would be more than happy to translate though Ameiko also speaks Varisian...she just reverts to Tian when stressed and yelling..."
The barmaid comes over and smiles "Glad you have moved on Aldern...its about time you realize your slick tongue does nothing for me." She then turns to Ariza and smiles "Watch out for this one, hes rather...persistent." "So What shall I bring ya, now that Aldern is buying?"
Faunra comes out of the kitchen quickly and ducks a pot thats being thrown at her as more strange words come from the kitchen. She makes her way toward the table your seated at. "My apologies it seems we have just enough rooms available for you. They will be 2 silver each unfortunately they aren't near to each other will this be an issue?" As you are speaking a strange looking man comes in holding a very familiar looking monkey around the scruff of the neck.
"Well brave adventuring types such as your selves are usually always welcome here at The Rusty Dragon but as you can see we're rather busy tonight...I'm afraid we might be out of rooms. Let me go check and I'll bring you your stew as well. If we are out of rooms I think the Hagfish might have some...or there is always the Pixies Kitten though I'm not sure if I'd stay at either of those establishments." With that she goes into the kitchen.
"That will be 8 copper pieces." she says with a smile and then goes and gets his stew. Returning she hears his question "This year the swallowtail festival is being thrown to honor the dedication and opening of our new church of Desna since our last church...burned down. The festival lasts all day with the day's events concluding with the dedication of the church at sunset."[/b]

The room goes so silent after the first few notes of her singing that you could hear a pin drop. She sings this song and when done the room erupts with cheers. The Tian owner of the bar comes bursting out of the kitchen and shouts something in a strange language at the woman who blushes and bows as she jumps off the stage. She then picks up a large serving trey that she had set down on the side of the stage and comes over to take each of your orders. "What can I get you? she asks with a smile. Her elvish accent is thick and you can tell she is fresh from Kyonen.
One of the Rusty dragon servers come's over to Shaeda and pulls her aside. "No nothing about rapers....goblins attacked Ameiko and Shalelu last night. Ameiko got the worst of it and she's over at Koya's now. Shalelu was pretty beaten up as well but as you can see she's as tough as ever" she gestures to the tall elven woman talking with Leokian and Caerwyn.
After Valeria leaves the stage another act takes it. The crowd comes to a dead silence as they recognize who is on stage, though none of you recognize her. After a moment of silence with her eyes shut on stage she starts to sing the most entrancing song you have ever heard. A look of pain and anguish fills her face as she pours her soul out on stage. As the song finishes a single tear runs down her cheek and the room explodes with applause. She takes a bow and waves the room silent and once again the room grinds to a halt as she starts to sing another haunting tune.
Jastheriga you can sense that Faunra is put off by..well...you but she will bring you some ale and a bowl of soup, how ever nothing in it is raw so once again she has "burned all the flavor out."
Tiyeri: Faunra comes right over to your table first and sets down your soup. "sorry you had to see that...I appreciate you looking out for us...and sorry about my boss...she's just stressed right now. Tomorrow is a major competition at the festival and she takes it a bit to serious. She thought you might have been a spy from The Hagfish."
Tiyeri Purr: Faunra goes into the kitchen and a few minutes later you hear a commotion from inside the kitchen. Make me a perception check. Laëlynn:
Faunra chuckles softly at the antics of Laelynn and then turns to her "Right away! I think she may have some venison around as she was trying to perfect her recipe for the competition tomorrow." She will then excuse her self and head to the kitchen. A few minutes later you think you hear shouting from inside the kitchen. Make me a perception check. Gavin_Gossamar: She grabs you a mug of their best ale and some bread. "Here you go, anything else for you? Areth Stormwind: "I don't know if we have any Tanish wines but I'll see what I can find. I'll bring you some bread, soup, and a little cheese." She then disappears into the kitchen.
"We have a fine fish stew though with Ameiko being a little consumed with her entry for the food competition tomorrow I'm not if we have any fresh made. I'll go check for you."
Seeing Mal flush Faruna blushes as well "No embarrassment meant good sir...its just...you passed out here last night and had to be carried back to your room...my boss was very concerned and was relieved when you made it through the night. I got a good talking to about serving you so much...so I need to apologize after you started sharing your life story with that wonderfully patient dwarven woman last night I should have cut you off."
She looks a bit shocked at Mal, her mouth hanging open a little bit. "Tomorrow is the Swallowtail Festival and not just any Swallowtail Festival but the one where we rededicate our church of Desna. After the late unplesentness a few years ago its about time we have a church here in town again...some of the locals are forgetting Desna's teachings of late..." Faunra picks up the drinking horn and puts it on a tray she's carring "I will be right back with that sir."
"How may I help you tonight? I'm sorry for the wait I usually can handle both performing and waiting tables but as you can see we're packed here tonight."
I'm going to have to bow out of recruitment sorry about that.
