My core character has profession sailor. She is only second level. Do I wait until she is 7th to apply this chronicle?

Profession Sailor: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17

Profession Sailor, re-roll: 1d20 + 8 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 8 + 3 = 21

And Grappling is a great way to take out a wizard type...

Excellent. Those were some low d8s I rolled. Glad it worked out as well as it did. :)

So, before the healing, this is what I show HP-wise:

The Professional - AC19 HP 31/45 (down 14)

Joliryn - AC20 HP 17/59 (now down 23)

Rataji - AC 14 HP 06/51- DISPLACEMENT 50% miss chance (down 43)

Zurnzal/ “Arnminaldi” - AC 18 HP 32/65 (now down 20)

Marnarius - AC 20 HP 12/67 (down 55)

My we are a wounded bunch. This total must have been before Zurnzal drank his own potion of cure moderate wounds for 13 and Joliryn will drink her own potion of cure serious wounds healing 19.

322 uses her scroll, casting Heal on Marnarius curing him to full. She then casts Cure Mod on Rataji two times and once on Joliryn. she then casts Cure Light on The Professional and uses her last charge off her wand on Zurnzal. I have done what I could for you my brothers and sisters. I leave you here now to make room for the dragon who should be a better combatant than I. And I leave you this small lantern. If you are successful in slaying Aram Zey, open this near his corpse as soon as you can after he dies and it will capture his very soul.

Cure Mod on The Professional: 2d8 + 7 ⇒ (6, 1) + 7 = 14 The Professional is full.

Cure Mod X2 on Rataji: 4d8 + 14 ⇒ (1, 2, 5, 6) + 14 = 28 Rataji is down 17.

Cure Light X2 on Joliryn: 2d8 + 10 ⇒ (1, 2) + 10 = 13

Cure Mod on Zurnzal: 2d8 + 3 ⇒ (3, 8) + 3 = 14

322 does have a mission but it is not a secret as far as I know and it can likely only be done if we succeed in the final fight. An item must be opened if we are successful in saying Aram Zey. It will capture his soul, preventing him from being raised. If she is leaving she can pass on that item to the group IF that is OK by the DM. ???

OK, here is my proposal. I change to the Dragon, but before I do I try to use 332's resources for the party.

322 can cast 2 cure lights, 3 cure mods and then would be out of spells for the day. She also has a wand of Cure Mod with 1 charge remaining and a scroll of Heal. If someone can use these she could give them to the party, IF the DM will allow that. IF the DM rules that she cannot start handout out gear to the party (somewhat reasonable) she can use them before I switch characters.

She also has a trumpet of spirit speaking that will let her cast Speak with Dead on each of the three dead in the room that she could use before she leaves. Not sure if we can gain anything from that. And finally she can activate her statue above ground before she leaves to help get us to the next room.

Even out of spells she can fly, fight with a dagger and use her Dark Tapestry abilities (Gift of Madness (Su) 7 times per day - touch attack to confuse for 7 rounds and Disfiguring Touch)

I think 322 a good candidate to switch with the dragon. Seems like mostly what we give up is the in combat ability to cast a Heal spell, which is pretty large. But she can use it now to heal our most wounded. Thoughts?

Any chance for healing from this group or regaining of any resources? I am pretty low on spells but have some resources available. If there is no other healing, would be fair for me to heal up the party and then switch out for the dragon?

That was a hard won fight. I am low on resources after that. The two more wounded could drink those potions. Lets explore the room and then try to heal up as best we can.

322 activates her flying ability and pulls a dagger as she flies and lands next to the caster.

322 knows that the Magus is alive but is unsure how close she is to bleeding out so she moves to her and casts healing magic to heal her wounds.

Did Marnarius shot hit the caster?

I can usually post multiple times a day. Who is up? You may have to bot players if they delay too long.

Re-reading my post I see that it sounds more critical than I intended. I apologize for that. My actual intent was to suggest that if the DM ruled that stealth would be spoiled the rogue would know that and had other options. That is all I intended.

I agree with Lamplighter here, BUT the rogue could have easily waited to flank with Zurnzal. Not sure why she did not do that. Or She could have used her cloak to go invisible when the fireball hit her. That is what it is for.

322 delays until after her party acts, hoping that her team can take this caster down. Kill this caster so that this one may attend to our wounded! she says in a rush.

I do take some pleasure knowing that the enemy caster, in her desperation, was the one that killed the paladin. :) Who is up?

Well that is good. What about the Pally? Dead from my spell? I rolled well, but was assuming she would make the save.

Brutal. Does this fireball take down the caster? It will certainly kill the pally unless she was protected so that seems a little evil. No way the caster could know if the pally is dead, could she? Who in our party is now dead?

With two down party members 322 hesitates, but only for a moment. She casts a spell, holding it for a touch. Jumping back up on the table she crosses it to stand next to the Paladin where she tries to touch him

Acrobatics to jump up on the table: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18

Touch Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22

Cause Serious Wounds: 3d8 + 7 ⇒ (2, 8, 7) + 7 = 24 Will Save DC 17 for half.

322 delays for Rataji.

Question - The map shows the professional about 20 feet outside of the room, but I thought she had moved up to the doorway and them up to strike at the pally?

Slight adjustment... Marnarius didn't fall after the second hit, it took the third hit to drop him.

With two party members down, 322 stands and then readies another dispel Magic to thwart the arcane caster's next spell. She will try to use her body to shield the prone magus if there is another blast.

Its in the hands of the DM now. I need to move 25' with a move of 30 but a table is in the way. I'll happily take an aoo to get there but getting on the table might require more movement. MY thinking is that if its high enough to require a climb check then I should be able to go under it. :) I should have my flight ability going. We had two rounds in the hall and I could have used a round to do that but they went by too fast. That happens in PBP. AND do not think I am doing this just for you. The party needs you for the last encounter. :P

Sorry for any confusion. 322 needs to move to be adjacent to Jolyrin. This movement may provoke. My hope was to step up on the chair then up on the table as normal movement. So I guess first thing I need to know is if I can get there. If so she uses the scroll of Breath of Life to try to save her. Anywhere adjacent to Jolyrin works. I had in mind the middle chair on the north side of the table.

I knew that would happen! a musketmaster is super OP. I hate them and hate to play with them. But for the record I hate all guns in my fantasy games. :) Now someone get in there and take this guy down.

322 sees Jolyrin fall and rushes to her side trying to avoid the inevitable AOO and jumps up onto the chair and table to get to her. As she moves a scroll snaps into her hand from a wrist sheath and she quickly reads it casting Breath of Life on the Magus.

After casting the spell 322 falls prone, hoping to take cover behind the chair.

I might need a little help here Mr. DM. First I do not believe we have discussed if a scroll can be put into a wrist sheath. If you are of the camp that says it cannot then I ask that you let 322 be holding it as she has a free hand. The scrolls is worthless if you have to move and pull it since it has to be used that next round. Also consider the distance 322 has to move. She has a move of 30 and the distance is 25 feet, but involves climbing up onto the table. So if this movement is a problem she will not use her acrobatics to try to avoid the aoo and instead use it to climb onto the chair and table. Or perhaps 322 could go under the table? And lastly this will not help at all if the shooter gets another turn as he could possbibly re-kill Jolyrin and kill 322 too.

This one fears the arcane caster might actually be a magus. 322 says. Is the half orc wearing armor?

So if you want to recomsider drinking that potion, I think the DM would be ok with that. It might still be your best option, BUT all three of these enemies are very deadly and we need to take at least one down ASAP.

322 enters the room moving silently and move a total of 30 going east and then southeast. Can't move my token. She readies to dispel any spell the caster might cast. Since she knows Dispel Magic she can do this a number of times and I do not think that will end her invisibility. If summoning does not, a dispel should not, right?

Stealth: 1d20 + 14 + 20 - 5 ⇒ (13) + 14 + 20 - 5 = 42 -5 is for not moving at half speed.

Dispel Magic: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25

First, wow, we have really screwed this one up. I hope we can recover.Second 322 had delayed until just after his companions acting first went. So she should go after the confusion spell and before any of the enemy act. Not sure how to reconcile that now. I had planned to move her into the room... Please recommend a solution.

Confusion is an area effect. You might be able to get more than one...Sorry but I cannot see the map at the moment...

322 stays quiet and delays until after the other three act to see what the Pathfinders do.

322 offers Rataji a scroll of invisibility as she activates her flight ability. This one would prefer to start this encounter unseen. she explains, asking him to use the scroll on her before the door is opened.

As everyone searches the library 322 spends some time examining the groups wounds. While her wand is mostly consumed she does have a few healing spell she can use and heals The Professional.

If your hit point total in your stats bar is not accurate then I do not know to heal you. I show everyone at full except Jolyrin who is down 2.

This one can heal you Shohiraj but the power of her wand wanes. Pray to the void that it will be enough.

One charge left, I think. I'll go check its usage in a moment. Gonna save it for in-combat healing since it does not provoke. Anyone else with healing ability or items?

Realizing her attacks are not going to get through, 322 attacks to aid another. Assuming Blue is still up she steps up and aids Jolyrin. If Blue is down she will aid Marnarius instead.

322 advances and attacks Orange with her dagger.
