Well played, Jezanna, ‘ecrocodilating’ cracked me up. While his shanty didn’t garner the enthusiasm he hoped for, the little goblin’s spirit is undaunted. He soaks in the ‘piratical ambience’ with glee. Even the drunkard passed out on a table is magical to him. But the crocodile, oh the crocodile, takes his piratamometer to the top! His shark-toothed grin is improbably wider than his over-sized head. It only flags when the croc is forced to leave. Eli debates speaking with the flame-haired woman… he chooses to finish a pint of grog to pluck up his courage.

Overkill DOT Striding into the Formidably Maid is 3' of unconventional gobbo pirate. Red eyes stand out against the green skin of this pantaloon-wearing, miniature corsair. One shoulder is heavily laden with a waterproof sea-bag with the end of an unstrung bow peeking out of it. Slung rakishly across his chest is an oversized bandolier. Tied to the bandolier at shoulder height is a human-sized axe whose butt-end scrapes across the floorboards. Completing the pirate look, Eli wears a large, salt-sprayed, leather tricorn hat. He whips the hat off in a debonair fashion for a passing trollop who he mistakes for a lady of high standing. Covering his skull (also at a rakish angle) is a 'pirate necessity' - a red silk bandana. Unfortunately, Eli doesn't realise what most of the people in the room do, that his bandana is actually a pair of women's panties. The goblin’s red eyes take in the tavern’s sights and sounds with obvious delight. This was real piratey! His parents had insisted that first impressions were important… so Eli decides to establish his credibility as a corsair-with-sea-water-running-through-his-veins by grabbing a flagon of grog and bursting into a sea shanty he’s taken pains to memorize. Mind you, he was still trying to decipher the meaning of the fourth stanza. Hey HO! Ohhhhh, I’m a flinty sea-dog… I met a pretty lass wantin’ to wed,
Cuz I’m a flinty sea-dog – Hey Ho! Some bastards shanghai’d me in Absalom,
Cuz I’m a flinty sea-dog – Hey Ho! I took the helm and sorted the crew.
Cuz I’m a flinty sea-dog – Hey Ho! Made it to shore, and I was itchin’ for sport…
Cuz I’m a FLINTY sea-dog – Hey Ho!
The little goblin delivers an absolute tour-de-force of horrendous, off-key, and piss-poor singing. Perform (Sing – Sea Shanty): 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (1) - 1 = 0 Status: HP: 10 / 10 | AC:18 AC:18 / T:18 / FF:13 | CMD:18/13

Oh, DM, how do you feel about a naive, human-raised gobbo with dreams of becoming a salty sea-dog? Obviously, I'd have to change his stats and level him up... but you can see where I'm going with his backstory, etc. He was originally built for a good-aligned Skull and Shackles campaign. Let me know if he is just too far off the beam for you. Stats Roll

Hi guys, Sorry for the disappearing act. There have been a stack of changes at work: our group was re-org'd, got moved to a new department - which doubled our area of responsibilities, and we acquired a new Director with 'big ideas'. I went heads down to knock out some critical objectives hoping that I could come up for breath in just a couple weeks *hollow laugh*. Unfortunately, more stuff keeps getting tossed on my plate faster than I can clear projects. At this point, I'm going to be working like crazy until some time in May - at a guess. So, I'm going to have to drop out of every game for the foreseeable future. If you've already replaced my character or dropped me... that is totally fine and I apologize for the inconvenience and for not digging myself out of this work pile earlier to let you know my situation. If you've been generous enough to NPC my character in my absence - thank you for keeping the faith and I'm doubly sorry that I can't come back to pick up where I left off. You have every right to berate me, so feel free to scourge me via PM. I won't put up a fight, I've earned it. Again, I'm quite sorry for leaving you all in the lurch and I'll hope to play with you good folks again at some point in the future. Thanks,

Sorry for vanishing and not giving notice. My ISP turned the bandwidth spigot down to 'pathetic trickle' and it made it nearly impossible to access Paizo. It looks like my ISP is starting to fix the problem so I'll try to catch up with the game this evening. Feel free to bot me if needed. Sorry for the inconvenience.
