Eldira seems interested when it comes to the topic of magic, but doesn't actually join the conversation.

After her escape route has been taken from her by the dreaded "sweet arm loop", the takes ... slightly too long to answer:

"I usually sit over there" she points toward a corner booth, "and offer to print pigments on my customer's skin using a variety of needles. Most customers tend to describe them as tattoos if that word has any meaning to you.
When my shift is over, I mostly take the time to train my natural gifts. It is really fascinating to see projectile armaments fly through the air towards stationary or mobile targets, there are a lot of very interesting numbers involved. I picked it up from a couple of Erastil followers, that was the first thing I learned to contribute.

Before I escaped Numeria, some kind of base functionality was imprinted into me and while most of it is still too fragmented to use, I managed to restore some sort... ability. "

Looking around two suitable education objects present themselves:

Targeting her mug of piping hot "herbal infusion", she casts ray of frost, which should cool down the infusion to a level where it can be safely absorbed.

Not really waiting for a reaction, she grabs a knife, uses her arcane pool to give it a +1 enhancement bonus and cuts the apple in half.

"Of course, those abilities could potentially synergize, but I am still actively working on that. I have notes on a couple of other ....effects, but I lack the required operating resources to commit more than a very limited number to memory, and currently lack the option to upgrade my memory. That should cover my own non-bow related options.

.... .... ..... I originate in a metal/glass construct not significantly larger than myself, after exiting the construct, my memories are very fragmented. I remember running at peak efficiency from thus far unidentified constructs about 7 meters high, build like scorpions, crafted from some highly processed metal. Other memories from that time are still fragmented and can't be recalled at this time. Please try again later"

Those last words sounded even more mechanical and pre-recorded than usual.

"It has been 1246 days since my activation and my internal diagnostics lead me to believe that my abilities are currently at about 5 % of optimal operating performance."

After concluding her answering subroutine, previous interactions with humanoids have suggested that some counter information request is somehow the correct subsequent reaction.

"I see where you come from" pointing at Rataji's father, "and what your primary performance tool is" pointing at her slender blade "but at this point I lack sufficient data to project your personal trajectory.

What are you aiming at?"

Looking at the family reunion is thoroughly confusing to Eldira. The flame-haired warrior woman who hours ago was killing goblins with the best of them has transformed into an eager girl in the presence of her birth giver.

Parents, what a weird concept of course so are babies, in general, being brought into a hostile environment and completely dependent on others. . .. I might miss something here.

After a couple seconds of self-reflection... or as Eldira would call it "buffering", she stands up to greet this important person. Taking a little bit too long before saying "Interesting to meet the creator of Rataji, the obvious physical differences and similarities between you two are quite interesting. I had to opportune chance, to see your daughter "perform" in combat, and while the goblin creatures proved to be elusive, most did not learn in time that attacking her created inopportune openings in their defenses, which resulted in subsequent puncture wounds.

Can we expect a similar performance from you or should I categorize you differently, in case or further combat events ? "

Social encounter initiated, waiting for reply.

Back at the dragon, Eldira takes a moment to check her surroundings. Since her usual booth is likely covered by refugees, Eldira is looking to find something to eat and drink, not because she is all that hungry, but opportune refreshment is nothing to waste.

"I'm not. But among humans i make a great projectile, and anyone can fall into a haystack

Mental note, Ratfolk apparently great projectiles when in the company of humans.... might be a tactical advantage at some point. Might require a substantially bigger bow.. or a sling.

Furniture polish... this is a very emotional and complicated situation, so it is only natural for the furry creature to be confused...

"Answering the question to Justin and the rest of the group: "My bodily fluids could be described as superior to those of most biological creatures. It does not clump quite as easily and is significantly resistant to carrying toxins, paralyzing agents and mind altering chemicals.
I suspect, that it also renders me immune to those ..emotional responses other humanoid creatures tend to suffer (and arguably benefit) from, effects like "fear, pants-wetting", "happyness" , "having butterflies in my abdominal cavity", "rage" and other effects that seem to be based on some kind of adrenal gland infusing biochemicals into your system that could prove deadly at sufficiently high concentration.

My bodily systems are also extremely efficient, if required, I could perform repetitive physical activities like walking for at least several days before my body would take any kind negative effect. I attribute this effect at least in part to the efficient transfer fluid inside of me, and it has been beneficial in my travel out of .... .... ....."

Bad, partly corrupted memories... better not interact with those files any more than absolutely necessary...

"Ignore preceding, it has been beneficial creating large scale skin printings.

As I have been told, I am apparently immune to diseases... a fact that seemed to be unreasonably relevant to some of my customers. I have received several offerings for services outside of my primary craft. Unfortunately, I can't provide further details about the requested services I was to provide in their room, since the proprietress of the Rusty Dragon always had to have an urgent discussion with those customers."

Regarding the horses:

"My experience with quadrupedal creatures is very limited and I lack the skill to "motivate" the creatures to do any sort of actions.

Unless our actions require me to shoot horses, the qualification of "expert" would be unsuitable. While I do not have a previous experience shooting horses, they tend to be larger than goblins and thus easier targets."

After receiving the healing from Snowflake, Eldira takes a good lock at the recently healed wound... maybe a bit too long, she really has no experience with magical healing (and is moderately worried that everything was reset to factory specifications).

"Thank you Vy, that was certainly a positive change to my bodily functions, feel free to stop any excessive bleeding on my part/on my parts in future. You seem to be rather proficient at molecular reconstruction. "

Eldira seems to miss the innuendo, the hot/luke warm tension in the air, and the general feeling of accomplishment.... her priorities for the day had shifted somewhat... winning is archery contest as a dark horse candidate.... has become less likely than several hours ago.

Everything else, seems to be a collection of illogical acts and while her new companions are impressive, she can't help herself that everything is terribly organized. The goblins could have attacked far more efficiently and the townspeople could have defended themselves with more tactical efficiency (the fact that people got hurt, really seems beside the point in that context).

Asking the group "Transforming noncombatant Foxglove, Aldern , into combat resource Foxglove, Aldern seems like the quickest route to resolving the current situation. Refilling my allotment of ranged projectiles would also be appreciated, though I have secondary ranged options available.

However, I lack the required skill/magical support loadout to improve the combat efficiency of secondary combat resource designated "princess", thus, I suggest not involving her in further goblin extermination projects.

Eldira really can't help herself, especially when the situation involves several emotional layers, she just tries to reduce the situation to the most basic problems... and resolve them.

"I could have sworn, that the goblin was still there, might be a glitch in .... reality, obviously... certainly not my optic hardware."

Not to self, research goblin illusion countermeasures, just in case.

After beeing distracted for a moment to long Eldira tries to bring the world goblin quota closer to 0.0.

Eldira, looks appreciatively back at Snowflake before shooting her arrow at the yellow goblin, and while the dwarf is a low target, the goblin is fortunately even smaller.

"Don't move too much Rodrak, and everything should be fine."

"I'll try to assist you all in the goblin hunting expedition" Eldira looks longingly at the archery contest in the distance, "Something tells me that I could use the training."

Looking around, the town square a lot of her arrows are stuck in the ground or lay splintered under market stalls.

Trusting, that the others will be able to deal with that goblin, Eldira tries to find a target that isn't in melee combat yet.

Bow attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 111d8 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

Time to attack the arrow repellant goblins again... the laws of probability suggest that I will hit at some point.... or run out of arrows.

Slightly confused about the quick change of events, Eldira takes in her surroundings. Thinking "The combat is over, shouldn't the celebration have restarted already? Is there something critical missing, the obvious thread seems to be exterminated"

Realizing that this moment quiet is just a momentary break in hostilities, she is looking towards the other fighters and her landlady for some sort of mission statement.

Time to end this... Eldira moves into position and:

Other people fighting around my target is disruptive, but the attack should connect despite that. Of course with Oskar trying to pulverize it, I might have hit a corpse

No idea if this will be relevant after the big half-orc has deal his the goblin menace, but just in case.

Eldira moves into a fitting position (depending on oscars movement, at least his broad shoulders don't mess with the trajectory).

This really would be much quicker, if the goblin had the good sense to nail themselves to the ground... and the townspeople were to run behind us^^

I am not to worried though, our elarged dwarf alone should outweigh the entire goblin group. ^^

Since the others seem to thave their goblins quite well surrounded (and shooting into melee is one of those things Eldira tries to avoid) she moves to shoot at the green goblin. Unfortunately too many townspeople lack the good sense not to be in her way.

Moving to the left of Oskar, Eldira draws her bow as a separate action.

This is chaotic action is highly offensive, disseminate the goblin group as soon as possible. Preparing for ranged support.

Looking at this display of familiarity seems to confuse Eldira on some level, not really due to the furry, smoking and tien participants those things are just facts.She was confused by the rush of confliction emotions displayed by the group.

Of course, that touching display really has no place in a food line. Other involuntary servers might enjoy the break, or consider the other waiting eaters... such consideration, were rather far from her mind though. Someone had disrupted her assembly line, just when it was running at peak efficiency.

Shoving a bowl of curry in her customer's face, she said:

"Please relocate your touching display of familial introductions by 180 degrees around the food cart. The efficiency of this food distribution line is already in a steady decline. Further delay will inevitably reduce in the unintentional biodegradation of the food items present, which will in turn lessen the impact of this event, which in turn risks the continued profitable existence of the rusty dragons, which in turn would force me to seek a new venue, which if unsuccessful might result in me starving to death.... within several weeks.

Thank you for your cooperation, your compliance is appreciated. "

At this point, while everyone involved in the touching reunion.. and random bystanders, take the time to retune their brains.. Eldira is considering more efficient ways to deliver the curry... a process that will inevitably result in "projectile deliver" which is functionally indistinguishable from carpet bombing with curry.

"I Eldira... I am not in any relationship with anyone present, biological or otherwiese.... just to reassure you..... ... why are you looking at me like that? Is there more than the expected amount of curry on my face ?

After a couple of couple of festival visitor leave the cart with a "measured" helping of curry-spiced salmon, Eldira notices the fact, that this kind of enterprise is usually accompanied by some sort of verbal announcement. In a rare (glitch?) spurt of initiative she yells to the festival visitors (half full ladle in hand naturally):

"Come and get our (soon to be yours) curry-spiced salmon people. Our prices will not surprise you (since it is free), but it would be illogical to bring subpar goods (for obvious reasons). Come and get it while the temperature is steadily declining at a rate that is within established parameters!" (she really says all those things in brackets, but it's slightly off tone)

She was already handing out free food, so people still keep coming even though most of them needed a couple of seconds to translate. Of course, since she accompanied her commercial announcement with adequate "somatic components" other festival participants go the opportunity to try the curry... it even ended up on a plate or two.

The monotone work of handing out food doesn't seem to bother her in the slightest, after a couple of bowls the hand/eye coordination is as optimized as possible, and hungry festival goers get served with optimal efficiency.

If only we could find an archer...

And pie appreciation will happen at some point, there is something to be said about a meal with 360 degrees of satisfaction.

Eldira started the day in the little stall she "rents" in the rusty dragon (the hostess doesn't actually accept money from her, seeing her work can fascinate her customers for hours and it is a definite draw) is really is just a stall in the worst corner of the Rusty Dragon Inn, but the bad lighting conditions never seem to bother her in the slightest.

Despite the fact, that she never really understood the need to advertise her services her "skin printing" (tattoos) services, word of mouth gives her a steady source of income, and enough time to work on her archery.

Her bow (a weirdly angular thing, that really should break whenever the string is drawn, but... it somehow never does) sits beside her, along with a well-stocked quiver. Eldira never really understood the need/desire for leisure clothes, it seemed extremely illogical to her.

On some level she knew, that some sort of festivity was planned for today, but she did not associate this with any sort of additional work.

She was quite wrong, as it turned out. For hours, she has been printing swallowtail butterflies on people. Usually, she only works on shades of black and grey, but the additional demand forced her to adapt her technique and add red into to render their wing patterns.

While her prints are good, her process is what really draws the crowds, the doesn't ink along any kind of pattern like you would draw a picture, but instead "prints" like a printer working from left to right, until the picture manifests on the person's skin.
Unfortunately sometimes her process causes some complaints, she usually holds her "canvas" in a vice like grip, and seems to lack the understanding that what she is doing can hurt, she only stops for clear verbal complaints. And for some reasons replicating the sometimes glowing tattoos on her body, is not an act she can perform.

After several hours of work, most of her customers walked away with fresh tattoos, and she decided to go and visit the archery contest. Her research in that area was anything but complete.

Having been made aware that the consumption of alcohol was somehow required for those events she stops at the bar and says:

"Ameiko Kaijitsu, I have the need to acquire a bottle of distilled spirits with a purity between 33.5 and 37.5 percent.
Assuming, that my presence here has had the required positive effect on your daily turnover rate, I will return tomorrow to reestablish services."

I apologize for the delay, in the last week I had a lot of PFS to run and a lot of things to prepare, cook for convention, print maps prepare handouts.. for every table etc.... I am apparently amazing at finding things to do^^ But now that the convention is over I am currently setting up this character.

This is going to be fun ^^
